    Training 2

After nightfall, as soon as the patrolmen passed by, Liang Qian climbed up the wall and prepared to climb out.

“This height is like a staircase tailor-made for me.”

As soon as the words fell to the ground, the person also fell to the ground. Liang Qian clapped his hands, looked proudly at the wall in front of him that was much higher than him, smiled scornfully, and then left swaggeringly.

Lu Ze, who had just come out of the public bathhouse, happened to bump into Liang Qian who had sneaked out. He was dressed in black and had a low hat. He was stunned when he saw the person. He didn’t expect to meet anyone at this time, and then made a shushing gesture.

“Squad leader, why are you still out so late?” Liang Qian lifted his hat, and his dark hair fell in front of his eyes.

Lu Ze tightened his grip on the basin in his hand. A drop of water flowed from his neck down his skin and was buried in his collar. He said, “The shower in my room is broken, so I can only come to the public bath for the past few days.”

Lu Ze saw him dressed like this and asked, “It’s already curfew, do you still want to go out?”

“The people under curfew are timid. I’m not afraid. Besides, I haven’t had much fun since I’ve been here for so many days. Hewen Street in Huaicheng is also famous. Do you want to come with us?” Liang Qian explained.

The original plan was for him to go alone. After seeing Lu Ze, he started to seduce him. Despite repeated persuasion, Lu Ze did not agree. Before leaving, he specifically told him to pretend that he had not seen him.

Hewen Street became more and more charming as the night went on, and you could bump into someone wherever you took a step. By coincidence, Liang Qian was stepped on by someone when he turned around. The person did not look back but apologized indifferently. Liang Qian saw that he did not care about him in such a lively and beautiful scene.

After seeing that person clearly, he immediately changed his mind. That person was also from the training camp. He lived alone all day and put on a lot of airs. However, there were many people who were hot-faced and cold-hearted. Liang Qian’s first impression of him was really not good.

“This is how you apologize. Haven’t your family taught you this?”

Liang Qian pissed him off with just a few words. It was the highest etiquette for him to apologize, but he still had a very bad expression on his face. He turned to look at him and said, “What else do you want?”

“No matter what, I don’t accept your apology just now.”

The man looked at him like a fool and said, “Do you want to accept it or not?”

This sentence immediately confused Liang Qian, and he immediately chased after him. He was walking so fast that he almost tripped over and fell down. Fortunately, the man grabbed a handful and saved him from embarrassing himself in public.

Perhaps the two people’s acquaintance was so unexpected. Liang Qian unilaterally wrote off the unpleasantness just now and dragged him into a tavern. The people inside were particularly noisy. The two found a relatively secluded corner to sit down.

As soon as they sat down, someone came to strike up a conversation. After sending the people away, the person opposite Liang Qian called a waiter. When the person saw him, he showed respect and was about to speak, but was stopped. Then a screen was placed in front of their table.

    “Been here many times?”

The man said: “This is my first time sitting here.”

“My name is Liang Qian, and I am from the training camp just like you.” He couldn’t wait to introduce himself to him.

“I’m Xie Kairui.” Xie Kairui simply told him his name and said nothing more.

The two of them drank one cup at a time, but in the end it was not enough, so they drank directly from the bottle. The two of them drank into the music in the pub, and Liang Qian completely opened up the conversation box.

“You don’t even know, it’s killing me these days. Do you know how much you pretend and how annoying you are? Every time I see you, I want to kick you home.”

    “I know.”

Liang Qian was startled, said “Ah” and said, “You know? Did I show it so obviously? How could I let you know?”

Xie Kairui remained quiet even though he drank too much, letting Liang Qian lean against him and complain about himself. In the end, he even moved his hands, pinched Xie Kairui’s lips with his fingers, opened and closed them, and said, “Then do you know that people don’t open their mouths just for eating and drinking. If you don’t speak, you will act like this, like a quacking duck.”

    “I don’t know.”

Xie Kairui didn’t look good, Liang Qian was still chattering, it was already very late, and with the drunken Liang Qian, Xie Kairui couldn’t guarantee that he could successfully climb over the wall and send him back, so he opened a room for him so that he could at least have a peaceful sleep.

It was already noon when I woke up the next day. The phone went silent and the message on it was about to explode. The next second, Lu Ze’s number popped up. When the call was answered, the person on the other end breathed a sigh of relief and said, “You finally answered the phone. You didn’t come this morning. The news about staying out last night has spread all over the place, and the warning sheet has come out.”

Liang Qian’s head looked like it had been kicked by someone. He paused for a few seconds and asked, “Who is on the list?”

“Your name is the only one on the warning sheet.” Lu Ze read it twice and found that he was the only one whose name was on it.

There were people standing in front of the bulletin board, and Liang Qian struggled to squeeze in. The first thing he saw was his mugshot posted on it, and he hurried back to the room before others recognized him.

Xie Kairui was lying on the bed when he received a friend request. He clicked and ignored it. After a while, Liang Qian broke in through the door. The sound of closing the door shook even him and said, “Then why are you not on the warning list?”

“You stayed out all night, and I didn’t, so of course my name is not on the warning sheet.”

The furnishings in Xie Kairui’s room were very simple, and Liang Qian couldn’t find anything even if he tried to copy them.

Liang Qian said in disbelief: “So you threw me out?”

Xie Kairui said, “Don’t say it so harshly. I at least found you a place to sleep. I didn’t expect you didn’t even set an alarm clock.”

“Then I also want to thank you for not letting me sleep on the street.” Liang Qian said angrily.

    “You’re welcome.” Xie Kairui smiled.

Liang Qian lost his temper instantly and collapsed on his bed. Xie Kairui had no choice but to give him the room.

Zhang Jiasheng didn’t see Jiang Wangshu for several days. He repeatedly asked about the fireworks show on Hewen Street tonight and wanted to take her to see it.

When they arrived at the appointed place, they didn’t expect that the first person they saw was Liang Qian. Zhang Jiasheng couldn’t help teasing him: “Where did you stay up all night that night to be cool?”

“It’s none of your business.” Liang Qian slapped his hand away and said, “Then what are you doing here?”

Zhang Jiacheng said proudly: “I made an appointment with someone to come here to watch the fireworks.”

Liang Qian snorted coldly, and the next second Jiang Wangshu appeared in the crowd. Zhang Jiasheng pushed him away, “Don’t block me.”

The fireworks show had already started when Jiang Wangshu came over, and a long blast cut through the night, like thousands of trees flying and flowers blooming in her eyes.

When she only raised her head, Zhang Jiasheng had already arrived beside her, holding a bunch of candied haws in his hand. The sweet and ruddy strawberries were wrapped in sugar coating, and the texture of each seed was still clearly visible.

A total of more than six hundred fireworks bloomed in her eyes, and Zhang Jiasheng only knew that the moon was very round today.

After the last silence, the sky was no longer as busy as the streets. The two of them walked silently on the roadside together. The candied haws in their mouths were very sweet, so sweet that they were cloying and addictive.
