Chapter 37: Calm Down First

Su Shi concealed his emotions almost perfectly, but his tightly clenched fingers and stiff back betrayed him as he turned around.

Su Shi walked step by step towards Song Qingyan, his mind filled with the hysterical state Su Zhi was in when she found out that Chen Jingtian had a woman and a child outside.

At that time, Su Shi was playing hide-and-seek with Su Zhi’s cat, hiding in a cabinet, waiting for the cat to find him.

Through the crack in the cabinet door, Su Shi saw Su Zhi, heavily pregnant, one hand on her hip and the other pointing angrily at Chen Jingtian, screaming, “Are you worthy of me? Are you worthy of the child in my belly?”

Su Shi didn’t know what had happened to make Su Zhi so angry.

Chen Jingtian was not ashamed but instead accused Su Zhi of not looking like a proper lady from a respectable family, but like a shrew scolding in the streets.

The two erupted into a fierce argument.
