    Chapter 22: Golf and Shooting

Soaking in a hot spring for too long can easily cause dizziness, while also leaving you feeling relaxed and comfortable all over. When Su Shi came out of the pool, his feet felt like he was walking on cotton.

They both drank a cup of herbal tea at the water dispenser, then wrapped themselves tightly in bath towels and walked back.

As they passed the curtain to the men’s area, someone accidentally bumped into Su Shi, causing the towel to slip off his shoulder, and he fell backward. Fortunately, Chi Ye grabbed his waist, “Careful.”

The person quickly turned around to apologize, “Sir, I’m sorry.”

    Su Shi: “It’s okay.”

Because Chi Ye went to support Su Shi, his bath towel also fell off, and the two were now skin to skin, making the surrounding air a bit subtle.

As Su Shi straightened up, Chi Ye released his hand from his waist and bent down to pick up both bath towels.

“You go take a shower first, I’ll go get new towels.”

    “Okay.”

Each locker is only equipped with one bath towel. Chi Ye found the staff and asked for two new ones, then walked into the shower area, looking for Su Shi through the curtain.

The curtain only covered two-thirds of the shower room, and the lower third allowed you to see the calves and feet of the person showering inside.

Chi Ye walked past each shower room, finally found Su Shi, and said softly, “Su Shi-ge, I brought the new towels.”

Su Shi was stunned for a moment. He thought Chi Ye would call him when he came over, but he didn’t expect Chi Ye to come directly, so accurately.

Su Shi didn’t think about how Chi Ye found him, and said “Okay,” then reached out to take the towel.

After giving the towel to Su Shi, Chi Ye found an empty shower room to take a shower.

Su Shi finished showering, changed his clothes, and came out to dry his hair. After a while, Chi Ye also came out and stood next to him, drying his hair.

For a moment, there was only the noise of the hair dryers.

Su Shi dried his hair first and went to the locker to get his things. When he turned on his phone, he found three transoceanic video calls from Xu Chongming and four unread messages.

Xu Chongming was looking for Su Shi, asking what he was doing, why he was ignoring him, asking where he had gone, and telling him to reply quickly because he was worried.

Su Shi changed his shoes and sat on the cushion, replying to Xu Chongming. The next second, Xu Chongming’s call came.

    “Baby, you finally answered me.”

After a few days, the discomfort in Su Shi’s heart had dissipated, and he said, “I wasn’t ignoring you, I’ve been busy with some things these past few days.”

“It’s good that you’re not angry with me, did you receive the flowers?”

“Flowers?” Su Shi was stunned, he didn’t remember receiving any flowers.

Xu Chongming said, “I bought you flowers that day, what, didn’t the delivery arrive?”

Su Shi thought, maybe it was delivered to his house and no one was home. He decided not to let Xu Chongming complain to the merchant, so he said, “Oh, I received them.”

“That’s good, do you like them?”

Su Shi paused, “I like them, but don’t send them in the future.”

    “Why?”

Su Shi lowered his eyes, “Because even the most beautiful flowers will eventually wither.”

Chi Ye happened to walk over to change his shoes and asked him, “Are you hungry?”

Xu Chongming was shocked, “Who is that, who are you with?”

Su Shi felt that Xu Chongming’s reaction was a bit excessive, he couldn’t even recognize Chi Ye’s voice, “Oh, it’s Chi Ye.”

Su Shi then asked, “Do you want to talk to your cousin?”

“No, baby, I only want to talk to you now.”

The phone prompted low battery, Su Shi said, “My phone is almost out of battery, I need to charge it.”

“Okay, then we’ll chat by message.”

Su Shi hung up the phone and said to Chi Ye, “Let’s go, back to the hotel.”

Xu Chongming frowned as he hung up the phone. It seemed that Su Shi and Chi Ye were really close now.

Xu Chongming then called Jiang Hui and asked if she had seen Chi Ye since she came back.

Jiang Hui said she had seen him, and that Little Ye was getting more and more handsome.

Xu Chongming then said that since Mom, you’re back, then let Little Ye come back to our house to live, so he doesn’t have to bother my friend all the time.

After listening, Jiang Hui paused for two seconds and said that she had already told Little Ye, but Little Ye said he was used to living there.

Xu Chongming had a vaguely strange feeling in his heart, but he couldn’t put his finger on it, he couldn’t grasp it.

Soaking in the hot spring helped with sleep. After Su Shi lay down, he quickly fell asleep and didn’t reply to Xu Chongming’s messages.

Xu Chongming looked for Chi Ye and asked how he was doing recently.

Chi Ye said he was doing well, preparing for the start of school.

Xu Chongming jokingly asked Chi Ye if he had someone he liked.

Chi Ye said that he met a short-haired girl today and had a good impression of her. He left his contact information and was going to chat with her first.

Xu Chongming breathed a sigh of relief and encouraged Chi Ye to be proactive, because only by being proactive can you have a story, just like when he was pursuing Su Shi, catering to his preferences, plus persistence.

Chi Ye said with a smile, “I know, Brother, I will do as you say.”

After hanging up the phone, Chi Ye fell on the bed, his eyes calm and without a trace of waves.

After lying down for a while, Chi Ye got up and took out paper and pen to plan his itinerary for tomorrow.

It’s not that sunny in the morning, so he can go play golf, and as for golf clothes, he’ll buy them there.

In the afternoon, he can go to the indoor shooting range. Chi Ye hasn’t played with guns for a long time.

As for the evening, Chi Ye looked at the brochure again, a boat trip on White Heron Lake at night would be nice.

That’s the itinerary for tomorrow. Chi Ye booked all the tickets.

The next morning, after eating breakfast at the hotel, Chi Ye rented an electric sightseeing car and came to the golf course with Su Shi.

The two changed into the same clothes, shoes, and hats, and looked at each other.

Su Shi smiled and his eyes curved, “Chi Ye, you look good in this.”

    “You too.”

Someone passed by, and Su Shi felt that they were being a bit silly complimenting each other, “Let’s go, let’s go.”

When he was a child, Su Zhi taught Su Shi how to play golf. Su Zhi knew a lot of things, and golf was one of this rich girl’s hobbies.

Compared to strenuous exercise, golf is more leisurely, and controlling each ball into the hole requires great patience and accurate judgment.

The caddie stood by with a smile on his face, lucky to meet two pleasing guests.

Su Shi wasn’t surprised that Chi Ye played golf well.

Thinking about Chi Ye’s family background, he must have been cultivated to be good at everything. In fact, Chi Ye living in his house and doing this and that for him every day was a bit of a disservice to this young master.

Because of Chi Ye’s down-to-earth nature, Su Shi often forgot about Chi Ye’s family background.

Seeing Su Shi daydreaming, Chi Ye said, “What are you thinking about?”

    “Huh? Is it my turn?”

    “Yes.”

Su Shi gripped the club, aimed at the ball, and hit it hard. The ball drew a parabola and fell in the distance.

The caddie applauded over there, “In.”

Su Shi wiped the sweat from his forehead with a towel, and the face under the brim of his hat was a little red.

    “Are you tired?”

    “Not bad.”

After playing for a while, they found a place to have lunch. This time, Su Shi wasn’t disappointed and got to eat something that suited his taste.

In the afternoon at the shooting range, Chi Ye directly shocked Su Shi.

Chi Ye’s marksmanship was superb, hovering between 9.9 and 10 rings every time.

Su Shi had never played shooting before and found an instructor.

The instructor saw Chi Ye’s strength and jokingly asked him if he wanted to work at their club.

Chi Ye said he wouldn’t come, he was still studying.

After Chi Ye finished shooting a few shots, he came over to guide Su Shi, and the instructor stood aside knowingly, watching them with interest.

Chi Ye’s chest was pressed against Su Shi’s back, and his fingers touched Su Shi’s.

“Like this, hold your hand steady, breathe evenly.”

Every man has a yearning for guns. Su Shi was a little nervous, his palms sweating.

Chi Ye’s voice was in his ear, “Aim, prepare, and shoot, be fast, accurate, and ruthless, don’t hesitate.”

Su Shi was decisive, before Chi Ye could finish the word “hesitate,” with a “bang,” he shot.

However, it was a pity that the target was empty, Su Shi missed the target.
