Chapter 78 Listen to Me, Don’t Listen to Others

Jin Mo lay on Jin Baiyan’s back, his lips occasionally brushing against his earlobe, causing Jin Baiyan to shiver involuntarily.

After a few times, Jin Baiyan had to stop, turned his head, and looked at Jin Mo with a helpless and doting expression.

    “Little Mo, stop messing around!”

Jin Mo bared his teeth, moved his face closer to Jin Baiyan, and rubbed his nose against his face.

    “Okay!”

Jin Baiyan rolled his eyes at him. He agreed quite readily, but whether he could do it was another matter.

Jin Mo smiled and lay on Jin Baiyan’s shoulder.

Jin Baiyan shook his head, a smile on his face, and lifted Jin Mo up a little, slowly walking forward.

His back wasn’t light, and his steps were a bit heavy, but he was willing to carry Jin Mo for the rest of his life, even relishing it.

    “Little Mo!”

    “Mm!”

“I…” Jin Baiyan swallowed the words that came to his lips. He felt that saying them would make him seem too greedy.

“What’s wrong? Can’t you carry me anymore? Do you want to stop and rest for a bit?” Jin Mo raised his hand and touched Jin Baiyan’s forehead. There was sweat, so he raised his hand to wipe it away for him.

Jin Baiyan shook his head. “I’m not tired!”

Jin Mo blinked. Not tired? Then what were the words that Jin Baiyan had started to say but then swallowed?

“Then you want to carry me forever?” Jin Mo asked tentatively.

Jin Baiyan’s body stiffened slightly, which Jin Mo immediately noticed.

    He smiled.

“Jin Baiyan, if you’re not afraid of getting tired, then carry me forever!”

Jin Baiyan’s face turned slightly to the side, meeting Jin Mo’s gaze.

Jin Mo pursed his lips, then silently mouthed three words.

    “Forever!”

The corners of Jin Baiyan’s mouth instantly couldn’t hold back, revealing a brilliant smile that stunned Jin Mo.

“Jin Baiyan, you look so good when you smile!” Jin Mo was like a lovesick fool, almost drooling.

Jin Baiyan’s face turned red, and he turned his head shyly, but his earlobes, red enough to drip blood, still betrayed his inner thoughts.

Jin Mo lay on Jin Baiyan’s back, shaking with laughter.

Having grown accustomed to his brother’s face like a cold moon, or his indifferent and unwavering expression, he had always thought he was a detached and aloof person. He never expected that after falling into the mortal world, he would be so shy and adorable.

    Easily teased into blushing!

It truly made him love him to death!

Alas, if only he had known that his brother was like this on the inside, he should have started teasing him ten or eight years earlier!

The youthful, innocent days must have been especially interesting!

Jin Mo sighed inwardly. Alas, what a pity! He missed out!

But it didn’t matter. Jin Baiyan at this moment wasn’t much different from a youthful, innocent boy!

Jin Mo instantly regained his enthusiasm and bit Jin Baiyan’s earlobe.

Jin Baiyan let out a muffled groan! His hand went numb, and he almost dropped Jin Mo on the ground.

“Little Mo!” He issued a low reprimand that was a bit annoyed, a bit shy, and a bit hoarse. “Stop messing around, you’ll fall!”

Jin Mo also felt that he had almost landed on his rear end, and couldn’t help but pat his chest.

“I know, I know, I got a little excited just now!”

After saying that, he obediently lay still, no longer causing trouble! He didn’t want to be hospitalized again.

Just as he settled down, his phone rang.

He glanced at his pocket and ignored it.

The phone rang more than a dozen times, then stopped. Before he could breathe a sigh of relief, it rang again.

He frowned and reluctantly pulled a hand out from around Jin Baiyan’s neck, taking the phone out of his pocket.

“Xu Jiahao’s phone?” Jin Mo glanced at it and said, “Is he calling to urge us to go home?”

    Jin Baiyan chuckled softly.

A ten-minute walk had taken them more than an hour. Anyone would find that strange.

Jin Mo pressed the answer button.

“What’s the rush? We’re almost there!” After shouting that, he was about to hang up when Xu Jiahao’s urgent voice came from the other end of the phone.

“Wait, wait, I’m not urging you. Jin Baiyan’s mother is here, oh, and also that Pei Qingqing, plus someone who seems to be your admirer!”

Jin Mo’s hand holding the phone trembled, and the shocked expression on his face could be made into a meme.

“What the hell? Pei Qingqing? Why is she here? And who, my… admirer? Are you freaking dreaming?”

Jin Baiyan’s hand supporting Jin Mo shook.

His attention was focused on the word “admirer.” His previously gentle expression instantly turned cold.

Jin Mo’s admirer dared to appear in front of him!

    Seeking death!

Jin Mo noticed the surrounding temperature dropping and saw Jin Baiyan’s darkened face. He cursed inwardly.

“Got it, we’ll be there right away!” After shouting, he hung up the phone.

He leaned close to Jin Baiyan’s ear and started doing damage control.

“Jin Baiyan, in a moment, no matter what anyone says, don’t believe it. It’s all lies!”

“Listen to me, don’t listen to anyone else, understand?”

“None of those people are good people!”

“The mother of this body of yours is also a muddlehead. Thinking you’ve lost your memory, she brought over your so-called fiancée, who you never even married. She’s deliberately trying to cause trouble for us!”

“Three years ago, if it hadn’t been for her, we wouldn’t have broken up, and you wouldn’t have gotten sick!”

“Now that she sees you’ve lost your memory, she’s coming to stir things up again!”

“This time, I will definitely not misunderstand you again, and I won’t let you be sad or heartbroken again!”

“Jin Baiyan, you must tell me if something is wrong, don’t keep it bottled up!”

    “Understand?”

Jin Baiyan’s previously unhappy mood was disrupted by Jin Mo’s chaotic barrage of words, and he almost forgot what he was angry about.

    “Jin Baiyan, do you understand?!”

Jin Mo pushed Jin Baiyan’s shoulder as he spoke.

Jin Baiyan didn’t even know what Jin Mo had just said, but he nodded instinctively.

Jin Mo got anxious when he saw this.

“Don’t just nod, you have to really understand.”

Jin Baiyan choked a bit, lifting Jin Mo up, wanting to interrupt Jin Mo’s machine-gun-like speech.

“There can’t be any more misunderstandings between us. If we’re unhappy or upset, we must tell each other right away, did you hear?” Jin Mo continued.

Jin Baiyan finally understood what he was saying. He smiled and turned to look at Jin Mo.

    “Okay, I understand!”

Jin Mo reached out and rubbed his face.

“Don’t keep everything to yourself. If you don’t say anything, even if I guess, I won’t be able to guess everything!”

“I’ve already decided that I won’t hide anything from you in the future! I won’t hide my feelings for you either.”

    Jin Baiyan’s smile bloomed again.

    “You like me!”

    Jin Mo nodded vigorously.

“Yes, I like Jin Baiyan! I like you very much, very, very much!”

Jin Baiyan moved his face closer to Jin Mo.

Jin Mo leaned down and quickly pecked him on the lips.

With a “thud,” the plaster leg fell off, and Jin Mo let out a miserable cry. He wrapped his arms tightly around Jin Baiyan’s neck, afraid of falling into the hospital again.

Jin Baiyan was also startled and immediately reached out to support Jin Mo’s leg.

After a flurry of chaos, it was finally safe, albeit with a scare.

This time, Jin Mo obediently lay still, not daring to cause any more trouble.

“Oh dear, you scared me to death. I almost landed right on my butt! If that happened, we wouldn’t need to go home. We’d just go straight back to the hospital.” Jin Mo muttered as he lay quietly.

    Jin Baiyan chuckled softly.

“That’s what you get for being naughty!”

Jin Mo pouted. Jin Baiyan was too innocent and needed more training!

While thinking about it, he pondered how to train him. Since he had no ideas, he thought of Baidu, or asking Deepseek!
