    Chapter 34: Dreams as Real

Jin Baiyan sat at his desk, pen in hand, his brow furrowed.

He was writing a letter to Jin Mo.

His sharply defined face was made even more handsome by the light!

But his complexion was pale, and his forehead was slightly sweaty.

He paused for a long while after writing each sentence, so many things he wanted to say, each word needed careful consideration.

As he wrote, his hand began to tremble, the pen scratching various marks on the paper.

His face also began to contort!

One moment gentle, the next ferocious, his mouth also emitting different voices.

“I won’t let you succeed!” A clear voice accompanied the gentle face, firm and steady.

“I want to go back to find Little Mo! I want to go back to find Little Mo!” A shrill voice accompanied the ferocious face, sinister and mad.

“If Little Mo loves me, he will come looking for me. If he doesn’t love me, how can I let you go and hurt him! Don’t even think about it!” The clear voice sounded again.

“No, I love Jin Mo, I love Jin Mo, and he must love me too!” The mad voice echoed in the small room.

As the mad voice rose, Jin Baiyan’s hand began to move, leaving row upon row of scribbled handwriting on the paper.

A minute later, the gentle voice sounded again, “Give up. Even if it means perishing with you, I won’t allow you, this madman, to come out!”

Jin Baiyan’s face began to switch constantly between gentle and ferocious!

The two personalities were fighting for control of his body!

    Sweat dripped from his forehead!

    His face became increasingly pale!

After a few minutes, Jin Baiyan’s face finally stopped changing, settling on the gentle, jade-like one.

He was suddenly exhausted, sliding from the chair to the floor, gasping for breath.

The power of the evil thoughts was growing stronger and stronger, and it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to restrain them!

Jin Baiyan bit his bloodless lip, struggling to get up from the floor, the hand holding the pen trembling. He had to steady it with his other hand.

He had to finish this letter, he had to leave clues. He was afraid that once he lost his mind, the letter and the clues wouldn’t reach Jin Mo’s hands.

That night, Jin Baiyan barely slept.

He hid the letter under the mattress, but then worried that Jin Mo wouldn’t find it, so he quietly pulled it out a little bit, exposing a small corner.

He was also afraid that Jin Mo wouldn’t find his clues and would give up, so he could only use other methods, to evoke Jin Mo’s memories, to give him more patience, more persistence.

When Jin Mo woke up, he was still a little dazed!

He had dreamed of the day Jin Baiyan wrote the letter, and he seemed to have dreamed of Jin Baiyan hiding the clues, but after waking up, he couldn’t remember the scene of hiding the clues, no matter how hard he tried.

“Damn it! He’s messing with me!” Jin Mo lay in bed and hit the bed hard, cursing.

Xu Jiahao happened to open the door and come in, and he shuddered when he heard Jin Mo’s curse.

    “What are you doing?”

Jin Mo heard the sound, sat up, and walked towards the living room.

“I dreamed of my brother!” Jin Mo pulled open the curtains and looked outside.

The distant mountains were like dark eyebrows, the nearby trees were like green jade, and the fine rain was misty and picturesque.

The scenery was good, but his mood was bad!

He sighed and sat down at the table.

“What did you dream about?” Xu Jiahao set out the breakfast in his hand and asked casually.

“I dreamed that my brother wrote a letter to me, and I also dreamed that my brother hid the clues!” Jin Mo picked up a bun from the table, took a bite, and said resentfully, “Unfortunately, I can’t remember the last part, no matter how hard I try!”

Xu Jiahao was obviously surprised, “You can dream about this?”

Jin Mo squinted at Xu Jiahao, “My brother and I have been together for twenty years, we have long been in sync, is it strange to dream about it?”

Xu Jiahao was stunned for a long time, not knowing how to refute.

“Yes, yes, yes, you two are in perfect harmony, then after you finish eating, continue to lie down and dream! Maybe you’ll dream about it!”

    Jin Mo chuckled twice.

However, after eating, Jin Mo really didn’t bother anymore. He leaned back on the bed, his head resting on the headboard, closed his eyes and concentrated, trying to recall last night’s dream.

He looked at the chair his brother had sat in from time to time, recalling his brother’s every move when he wrote the letter.

He had a feeling that it wasn’t just a dream!

Xu Jiahao didn’t disturb him either, sitting in the living room watching videos and chatting with Xiao Feiwu.

Jin Mo’s eyes scanned the room back and forth.

The murals on the wall, the aloe vera in the corner, the air purifier by the table, the chair, the table, the projection screen…

As he looked, Jin Mo felt as if a light flashed through his mind, too fast, fleeting, he couldn’t grasp it.

He closed his eyes and thought for a moment, but still gained nothing.

He got up from the bed and paced back and forth.

After more than ten minutes, he felt a little irritable. A sign had clearly appeared just now, but he couldn’t grasp it.

He was unwilling! But he was also very powerless.

Forget it, let’s talk about it later!

Jin Mo rubbed his dizzy head and walked out of the room.

“Oh, you’ve come out of seclusion? What did you gain?”

Xu Jiahao had his legs on the table, shaking them, holding his phone in his hand, making a loud explanation.

Jin Mo rolled his eyes at him, and walked to the balcony, slumped into the recliner his brother had sat in, and pushed hard on the ground, the rocking chair began to creak.

Today was a drizzly day, the mountain trees were surrounded by misty rain, like a fairyland on earth.

Jin Mo had to admit that the expensive price had its reasons.

The huge sanatorium was as quiet as if it were isolated from the world, it was indeed a great place for recuperation.

As the chair rocked back and forth, he actually felt a little sleepy!

In a daze, he seemed to see his brother also lying on the rocking chair, rocking back and forth.

Two figures from different times and spaces unexpectedly overlapped at this moment!

“Brother!” Jin Mo, lost in thought, murmured softly.

Jin Baiyan, rocking on the chair, seemed to hear his voice, and quietly raised his body, staring at the void, and called out, “Little Mo…”

A smile appeared on the corner of Jin Mo’s mouth.

When he woke up, it was almost noon.

Xu Jiahao had quietly returned to the room opposite, waiting for the robot to deliver food.

Jin Mo got up from the chair and stretched his sore waist.

A good dream made Jin Mo feel refreshed, and he felt that now was the perfect time to look for clues.

Returning to the room, he began searching in the room again.

    He carefully checked each item.

While checking, he recalled last night’s dream, and every detail would be repeatedly pondered in his mind.

More than ten minutes later, the items in the bedroom were checked again, but still nothing was found.

“Impossible, where is the leak?” Jin Mo muttered to himself while looking around, and finally, his eyes fell on the projector.

A flash of inspiration! That’s right, the projector has always been turned off, maybe there will be some discovery if it is turned on!

Jin Mo shuddered and jumped up excitedly, rushing to the projector in a few steps and pressing the power button.

After more than ten seconds, the projection screen lit up.

    It stopped on the homepage!

He quickly picked up his phone and took a picture.

Standing in front of the screen, he carefully looked at each small window, and finally, his eyes fell on the small window of “Yucheng’s Most Beautiful Village, Forest Gate Village”.

The corners of Jin Mo’s mouth hooked up, he was very sure that this should be the clue his brother left him!

    What a straightforward clue!

Jin Mo couldn’t help but laugh “Hahaha”.

“What are you going crazy about, you scared me!” Xu Jiahao, who had just come in with the food, was startled and roared.

“I found the clue!” Jin Mo exclaimed happily.

When Xu Jiahao heard this, he immediately put down the bag in his hand and ran in.

    “What clue?”

Jin Mo pointed to the three words “Forest Gate Village” on the screen!

    “Here!”

Xu Jiahao’s mouth opened slightly, and he looked at Jin Mo in shock, “Are you sure?”

“Sure! My brother told me a long time ago that if he had the opportunity, he must go to the countryside to experience a peaceful life. This should be where he is staying!”

Xu Jiahao sighed again, “This clue, as expected, only you can find it!”

Jin Mo raised his head proudly and ran out to eat happily!
