Chapter 30: The Deal

Jin Mo and Xu Jiahao were greeted with enthusiasm as soon as they entered the lobby.

Three beautiful women rushed over, chattering all at once.

Their exaggerated movements stirred up a rather unpleasant perfume scent.

Jin Mo frowned and pushed Xu Jiahao forward.

“Wait, wait, ladies,” Xu Jiahao said, stopping the enthusiastic greetings. He then took out a photo from his pocket. “We just want to ask, have you seen this person?”

The three women’s enthusiasm immediately waned, and the smiles on their faces became perfunctory.

“No!” One of the short-haired women glanced at the photo casually, said a word, and turned to walk back to her station.

Another long-haired woman didn’t even take the photo, merely glanced at it, and left directly.

The last one was a girl with a ponytail. She looked the youngest of the three, with much lighter makeup, obviously a newbie who hadn’t been on the job for long.

Xu Jiahao put away the photo, smiled, and said nothing. Instead, he pushed Jin Mo, who was behind him, forward.

Jin Mo raised an eyebrow.

“Little girl, how about we make a deal?” Jin Mo pulled out his cute and harmless persona, revealing a friendly and stunning smile.

The little girl was clearly mesmerized, and stopped her original intention of retreating with her seniors.

“What deal?”

Seeing the fish taking the bait, Jin Mo’s lips curled up.

“You tell me this person’s information, and I’ll book a suite here! How about it!”

Jin Mo lowered his voice, with a hint of seduction.

The little girl was stunned at first, then her eyes widened, and she shook her head violently.

The little girl nodded.

“Yes, I just graduated from school, I’m twenty-two this year.”

“Then, what do you think of this brother’s suggestion just now?” Jin Mo asked with a smile.

“But…” the little girl hesitated.

“We’re not bad people!” Jin Mo took out his phone, opened a photo of himself and Jin Baiyan, and handed it to the little girl. “He’s my brother. He’s sick and secretly hid himself. I’m afraid something will happen to him, so I’m chasing after him.”

The little girl looked at the photo again and again. The two people in the photo were leaning together, smiling, and it was obvious that they had a good relationship.

The two didn’t urge her, but sat quietly, waiting for the little girl to think.

“A year?” The little girl blinked and looked at Jin Mo.

Jin Mo couldn’t help but laugh. The little girl was quite bold.

“Then, what if I tell you his information, and you go back on your word?” The little girl asked anxiously, “You book the room first, then I’ll tell you the information!”

Jin Mo shook his head. “What if I book the room, but you don’t have any information about my brother at all? Then I’d be at a big loss!”

Gong Min frowned, pondered for a moment, and nodded.

“Okay!” As she spoke, she glanced around at other places. “Your brother is my responsibility. He’s different from normal people. He never goes out, and I deliver his meals and clothes to him at a fixed time and place! Is that okay?”

Jin Mo raised his eyebrows and exchanged a glance with Xu Jiahao.

Xu Jiahao nodded slightly to him.

Jin Mo raised his hand, touched his nose, and asked, “When did my brother come here?”

Gong Min thought for a while, feeling that this question seemed like she could answer, and replied, “Three months ago, Brother Xiao Li picked him up from Yucheng Wharf!”

Jin Mo’s hand tightened, and he felt a surge of joy in his heart. It seemed that his brother was indeed here.

“Okay, our deal can begin!” Jin Mo patted Gong Min’s shoulder. “Go prepare the contract documents!”

Gong Min’s eyes lit up when she heard this, and she happily responded before walking towards her workstation.

“My brother should be here!” Jin Mo’s voice was a little shaky with excitement.

Xu Jiahao also became excited. “Then I’ll notify Xiao Feiwu and the others to come over too!”

“Okay!”

Soon, Gong Min came over with the contract documents.

More than ten minutes later, the transaction was completed, and Jin Mo returned the signed contract to Gong Min.

“The contract is signed, now it’s your turn to fulfill your promise,” Jin Mo said, suppressing his excited heart and pretending to be calm.

Gong Min put away the contract, feeling relaxed, with a bright smile on her face.

“Follow me to get the key, I’ll tell you as we go!” After saying that, she stood up and walked out of the lobby.

The three’s figures were hidden in a patch of shade.

Gong Min smiled, “Your brother is no longer there!”
