Chapter 15 You Are Xu Zai

Jin Mo slumped on the table for a while, then his phone buzzed.

He reached for the phone, glanced at it, and immediately sat up straight.

-Xu Zai has accepted your friend request, you can now start chatting!

A new line appeared in the WeChat list.

Jin Mo’s fingers hovered over the screen keyboard, wondering how to start a conversation with this person.

Before he could even think of an opening line, the other party sent a message.

    Xu Zai: Talking business?

Jin Mo’s hand paused! Talking business? Is this a company client? Or a manufacturer?

Black Devil Taro: Yes, talking business!

Xu Zai: What kind? Tracking, stalking, catching adulterers, investigating people, or what?

Jin Mo looked at the line of text on his phone and fell into EMO.

One surprise is more shocking than the last!

Did his brother need to handle these… services?

Xu Zai: What’s wrong? None of those? Then what kind of business do you want to talk about? I’ll cooperate! But, let me say this in advance, I won’t do anything involving murder, arson, or illegal activities! I’m just after money, I don’t want to go in!

    Black Devil Taro: Uh?

Xu Zai: What do you mean?

Jin Mo took a deep breath, suppressing the shock in his heart.

Black Devil Taro: Let’s talk in person!

After sending it, he immediately added a sentence.

Black Devil Taro: The price is negotiable!

Xu Zai: Alright, alright, alright, let’s talk in person! Where are you?

Black Devil Taro: 10:00 AM, Charbroiled Coffee Shop on People’s Avenue!

    Xu Zai: Okay!

After ending the conversation, Jin Mo stared at the phone screen for a full five minutes, still feeling like he was in a daze.

“Jin Ze!” Jin Mo raised his head, staring blankly at Jin Ze the butler.

“What’s wrong?” Jin Ze, who was opposite him, heard Jin Mo call him and raised his head. “What happened again? Why do you look so lost?”

Jin Mo rubbed his chest, “I feel like my heart is going to stop beating!”

    Jin Ze chuckled twice.

    “What stimulated you again!”

Jin Ze was fifty-eight years old this year, the same age as Jin Huaiyang. His parents were servants of the Jin family, and he had been in the Jin family since birth, never marrying.

After Jin Mo came, Jin Huaiyang arranged for him to take care of the two children, Jin Mo and Jin Baiyan, whom he regarded as his own children.

“Uncle Jin, since yesterday, I feel like I’m getting to know my brother all over again!”

“Hmm?” Jin Ze looked at Jin Mo with some confusion.

“My brother is too good at forbearance!”

“He put the share transfer contract and property transfer contract in various documents, tricked me into signing them, and I didn’t even know it!”

“He was clearly in so much pain and suffered so many grievances, but he could still be so tolerant of me!”

“The phone number hidden in the book is actually…”

Jin Mo stopped as he spoke.

    “Is what?” Jin Ze asked.

“It’s someone who does tracking, catching adulterers, stalking, and other such things!”

    Jin Ze seemed dumbfounded too!

The two stared at each other, and finally couldn’t help but laugh.

“My brother is truly a mysterious existence!”

Finally, Jin Mo uttered a sentence, stood up, and picked up the car keys on the table.

“I’m going to meet this talent now! I want to see what else my brother is hiding from me!”

Jin Ze stood up, smiling, and said, “No matter what Baiyan did, it wouldn’t be something detrimental to you!”

Jin Mo raised his chin, very proudly, “That’s right!”

Having parked the car, when he arrived at the entrance of the Charbroiled Coffee Shop on People’s Avenue, it wasn’t even 9:30 yet.

Jin Mo thought for a moment, then directly pushed the door open and walked in.

There weren’t many people in the coffee shop yet. As soon as he entered, the waiter enthusiastically greeted him.

He looked around, found a relatively hidden spot where he could see the entrance at a glance, and sat down.

Taking the menu handed over by the waiter, he ordered a cup of Blue Mountain coffee and a plate of pastries.

While sipping the coffee, he surveyed the entrance, carefully observing each person who came in, wondering if they were the person he was supposed to meet.

It wasn’t until 9:50 that he opened the chat box.

Black Devil Taro: Where are you?

    The other party replied instantly.

Xu Zai: Almost there, I’m already at the entrance!

Just as he finished reading the message, a person walked into the coffee shop.

Not very tall, no more than a few centimeters over 1.7 meters, but with a well-proportioned figure, looking very agile, and also quite handsome, with a pair of very energetic eyes.

Originally, this should have been the type of person Jin Mo didn’t dislike, but at this moment, appearing at the entrance of the coffee shop, Jin Mo couldn’t help but widen his eyes!

    This is… Xu Zai?

    Damn it!

Isn’t this Xu Ge, a school employee he knew from high school?

Didn’t Xu Ge clean the toilets? How did he start doing these slightly technical jobs like tracking and stalking!

    The phone beeped.

Xu Zai: I’m here, sitting at table eight, where are you?

Black Devil Taro: Come to table twelve!

After sending the message, he glanced at the people at table eight, then lowered his head.

The person at table eight immediately stood up, looked around, found the target, and walked straight over.

Jin Mo continued to keep his head down, using his peripheral vision to see “Xu Zai’s” feet stop at his table, then sat down opposite him.

“Are you the one who contacted me?” The voice opposite him was indeed somewhat familiar. Jin Mo gritted his back teeth, suddenly raised his head, and looked at the person opposite him.

Xu Zai obviously didn’t expect that the person who had contacted him would be an acquaintance. He was stunned for a moment, then shocked, and stood up abruptly, preparing to run away.

    Indeed, very agile!

Unfortunately, Jin Mo was prepared, grabbed his collar, and pressed him back into the seat.

“Brother Xu! Long time no see, why do you want to run as soon as we meet?”

Jin Mo said, gnashing his teeth, word by word.

“Haha, Little Mo!” Xu Zai rolled his eyes and said with an awkward smile.

“Sit down! Don’t think about running, you can’t beat me!” Jin Mo pointed his mouth menacingly at Xu Zai. “What do you want to drink? Order yourself!”

Xu Zai, real name Xu Jiahao, twenty-five years old this year, hearing Jin Mo say this, gave up the idea of running away.

    He waved to the waiter.

After ordering, the two glared at each other.

“Xu Jiahao, what exactly do you do?” Jin Mo pointed his finger at Xu Jiahao. “I’m telling you, don’t even think about tricking me again!”

Xu Jiahao chuckled twice, leaning his body forward slightly.

“You…, Little Mo, how did you get my… work number?”

Work number? A trace of mockery appeared on the corner of Jin Mo’s mouth.

Xu Jiahao pursed his lips, straightened his body, and waited for interrogation.

“Do you know my brother?” Jin Mo didn’t bother to beat around the bush and directly cut to the chase.

Xu Jiahao obviously didn’t expect Jin Mo to be so direct, the smile on his face paused slightly.

Jin Mo naturally saw Xu Jiahao’s guilty conscience.

Xu Jiahao reached out and rubbed his nose, his eyes darting around.

    “I know him!”

Jin Mo nodded, still considered honest.

    “How did you meet?”

    “That…”

“Don’t hem and haw, speak!” Jin Mo slammed the table.

“It’s just that, your brother… that… asked me… Hey, right, why don’t you ask your brother?” Xu Jiahao was still struggling!

Jin Mo rolled his eyes at him.

“Don’t worry about whether I ask my brother or not, you explain your situation first! I’m telling you, if you don’t tell the truth, I have plenty of ways to deal with you! Others don’t know, but you should know, I’m not as harmless as I seem on the surface. When I get ruthless, I can be quite vicious!”

Xu Jiahao couldn’t help but shudder when he heard this!

Indeed, in the eyes of others, Jin Mo was like a little lamb, well-behaved and cute, but he had tracked and photographed Jin Mo for two years, seeing Jin Mo several times as fierce as a wolf.

No one knew better than him what Jin Mo’s true nature was!
