    Cen Yi’s Anger

    Cen Yi’s Anger

“Your spirit is quite good.” Doctor Liu walked in with the medical record and examined Luo Yan. “Okay, rest well these next few days and see if you feel any discomfort.”

“The examination is done, you guys continue chatting.” Doctor Liu came and went in a hurry, as he still had to examine other patients in other wards. “Oh right, the anesthetic should be wearing off soon, the pain in your hand will gradually increase. If you can’t bear it, you can go to the nurse, she will give you painkillers.”

“Okay, thank you, Doctor Liu.” Luo Yan expressed his gratitude.

Doctor Liu glanced at Cen Xi and smiled at them. “It’s nothing, it’s my duty.”

“Bang!” Not long after Doctor Liu left, the door was pushed open forcefully.

“Little brother, are you alright!” Cen Yi ran in, holding a fruit basket, pushed Cen Xi away from Luo Yan’s bedside, and took it for granted to throw the fruit basket to Cen Xi.

    “I’m… I’m fine.”

“How could you be fine? It looks very serious.” Cen Yi gently stroked Luo Yan’s tightly wrapped right hand, her eyes filled with heartache.

While Cen Yi felt sorry for him, Luo Yan and Cen Xi met eyes.

    How did your sister come?

    I don’t know either…

“I’m really fine.” Luo Yan smiled awkwardly, it had been a long time since he had faced such an enthusiastic “elder.”

“Sis, why are you here?” Cen Xi attempted to change the subject.

“What do you think? I got a call asking me to invest money, and they didn’t even tell me what was going on. As the patient’s boyfriend’s sister, shouldn’t I come and see how he is doing?”

The topic was successfully changed, and Cen Xi successfully shifted the topic to himself.

“Investing some money in my brother-in-law’s industry, doesn’t it all end up in your pocket anyway?”

“Is that what I’m talking about?” Cen Yi slapped Cen Xi forcefully. “As a boyfriend, you only found out about his hand injury after so long. Do you even have any sense of responsibility?”

These words hit Cen Xi’s sore spot, and he fell silent, accepting Cen Yi’s scolding.

“I’m telling you, you always misunderstand people and don’t care about them. How can you even be someone’s boyfriend like this? It’s ridiculous. If your brother-in-law treated me like this, I would have thrown him into some forgotten corner long ago.” Cen Yi complained, and also gave Luo Yan a suggestion, “You should make him wait a few more days, men generally don’t cherish what they get easily.”

“Sister, I kept the hand injury a secret from him, it’s not his fault.” Luo Yan defended Cen Xi.

Being called “sister” softened Cen Yi’s heart. Luo Yan’s voice was already slightly boyish, soft and gentle, and paired with his serious little face, Cen Yi felt even more that her brother had really gotten his hands on a tender and innocent treasure, and this treasure was wholeheartedly devoted to him.

What did Cen Xi have to offer!

“Little brother, tell me, what do you see in this guy?” After thinking it over and over, Cen Yi couldn’t think of any advantages that Cen Xi had that could attract someone.

“He’s good to me.” Luo Yan answered seriously, “I like him.”

This sudden confession stunned Cen Xi as he looked at Luo Yan. He had not expected that Luo Yan would say he liked me in front of Cen Yi.

    ???

This reason clearly did not hold water in Cen Yi’s heart. How was Cen Xi good to this little brother? She couldn’t see it at all.

    “It’s not…”

Before Cen Yi could finish speaking, her mouth was forcibly covered by Cen Xi, and she was pushed out of the ward. “Sis, it’s very late, I believe brother-in-law must have been waiting for you at home for a long time, and Yan Bao needs to rest too, so please, turn right, take the elevator, drive, go home, thank you for your cooperation!”

The door was slammed shut ruthlessly by Cen Xi.

Hospitals couldn’t make loud noises, Cen Yi clenched her fists, swallowed her anger, took a deep breath, held the handle and pressed down hard, but the door wouldn’t open, it was locked.

The sound of high heels echoed throughout the corridor, showing just how deep the anger in Cen Yi’s heart was.
