    Chapter 67: Dreaming

After Xiao Feiwu dealt with the two hoodlums, he sent a message to Jin Mo.

Xiao Feiwu: The two guys are knocked out!

Jin Mo was a little dumbfounded. So efficient?

Bai Xian saw the shocked expression on Jin Mo’s face, and a hint of a smile flashed in his eyes.

“What’s wrong?” He leaned closer to Jin Mo and asked in a low voice.

Jin Mo blinked, wondering if he should confess everything honestly.

Bai Xian didn’t continue to press, just looked at him with those smiling eyes.

Jin Mo’s mind raced, and finally decided to confess.

“Well, two guys came looking for trouble, one of them is the tall, skinny one you mentioned. I was afraid they would play dirty tricks on you, so I had Feiwu Ge take action first. Right now, the two of them are unconscious!”

Jin Mo quickly and concisely explained everything.

Bai Xian’s face twitched twice after hearing Jin Mo’s words, obviously quite shocked.

Then, he raised his hand to his forehead, a low chuckle escaping his lips.

“Bai Xian!” Jin Mo tugged at the hem of Bai Xian’s clothes, shaking it gently, and said softly, “I was just afraid they wouldn’t accept being beaten and would play dirty tricks on you! So, I took action first, to teach them a lesson, so they wouldn’t dare to have any bad intentions again!”

Bai Xian looked up, the smile in his eyes even more intense.

He shook his head and said, “Throw them in the basement! Password is 6831.”

Jin Mo was stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter.

“Oh, got it. I’ll tell Xiao Feiwu.”

Jin Mo: Blindfold them, tie them up, and throw them in the Slow Residence basement, password 6831. Keep them locked up for a day before doing anything else!

    Xiao Feiwu: Got it!

After sending the message, Jin Mo continued to laugh non-stop.

    6831!

    What a great password!

His birthday plus his brother’s birthday!

“Bai Xian!” Jin Mo looked at Bai Xian with a smile, “Who set the 6831 password?”

Bai Xian raised an eyebrow, not understanding why Jin Mo was so interested in the password.

“Me? Why?” He raised his eyebrows and asked with a hint of doubt.

“When did you set it?” Jin Mo smiled, looking at Bai Xian mischievously, and continued to press.

Bai Xian thought for a moment, “The second day I arrived!”

Then he added, “On my phone, I received a notification to change the password!”

Jin Mo collapsed onto Bai Xian’s arm, laughing.

He kept calling out Bai Xian’s name.

Bai Xian’s face flushed slightly, and his ears felt hot.

He didn’t know what Jin Mo was laughing at!

Nor did he think about why Jin Mo was laughing so happily.

His mind was completely captivated by Jin Mo’s smiling face.

He really wanted to rub those fair, soft, and adorable cheeks!

If he hadn’t clenched his fist tightly, relying on the stinging pain in his palm to remind himself, his hand would have already reached out uncontrollably.

In just a few days, he realized he had changed. He no longer had the initial calmness and detachment. Facing Jin Mo, he was like an ocean that could lose control at any moment.

Jin Mo was the wind on that ocean.

From time to time, a hurricane would come, stirring up monstrous waves in his heart, which wouldn’t calm down for a long time.

“Jin Mo!” Bai Xian buried his head in the crook of his arm and called out Jin Mo’s name for the first time.

Bai Xian’s call made Jin Mo feel like he was floating.

“Bai Xian, did you just call my name?” He pushed Bai Xian’s arm hard, asking coquettishly.

Bai Xian didn’t look up or speak.

“Bai Xian, call my name again!”

Jin Mo continued to push Bai Xian’s arm, “Call me, don’t call me Jin Mo, call me Little Mo, it sounds more intimate! Hmm? Bai Xian, call me again, okay? I really like hearing you call my name! It makes my soul tremble!”

    “Bai Xian!”

    “Don’t be shy!”

    “Call me again!”

“I’ve called you countless times! You’ve only called me once!”

“Good boy, call me again, okay?”

    “Bai Xian!”

Jin Mo kept acting coquettish, speaking in a soft and Sticky ricevoice.

Bai Xian’s ears were about to bleed!

In the end, he couldn’t resist Jin Mo’s persistent pestering and had to look up, his eyes flickering, his cheeks flushed, and in Jin Mo’s expectant gaze, he called out, “Little Mo!”

Jin Mo grinned and said, “Mmm!”

The two looked at each other, you smiling at me, I smiling at you.

    “Bai Xian!”

Bai Xian paused for a few seconds before catching up.

    “Little Mo!”

    “Bai Xian!”

    “Little Mo!”

After a few rounds, Bai Xian had completely caught up with Jin Mo’s rhythm.

As soon as Jin Mo’s “Bai Xian” stopped, his “Little Mo” would follow.

    Jin Mo expressed his satisfaction.

This ambiguous and sweet interlude led to the most direct aftereffect: when Bai Xian carried Jin Mo to the restroom to relieve himself again, both of them couldn’t help but feel shy!

Especially when the sound of water echoed in the narrow restroom, both of them felt a burning sensation in their hearts.

Little Jin Mo even had a trembling impulse to stand up.

Bai Xian also shifted his body slightly!

After leaving the restroom, Bai Xian put Jin Mo back on the bed.

One lying on the bed, the other sitting on the chair, neither of them spoke.

The room was quiet, with only the sound of their breathing.

It seemed a little heavier than usual!

Jin Mo lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling, his mind filled with thoughts.

Bai Xian had reacted to him!

Although he had just turned his body slightly, his peripheral vision had still caught a glimpse!

If Bai Xian wasn’t his brother, how could he have reacted to him so quickly!

He had seen how cold Bai Xian was at the beginning!

So, this Bai Xian could never just be Bai Xian!

Jin Mo reaffirmed that Bai Xian and his brother could never be two completely different people.

Although Bai Xian had no memories, his behavior and mannerisms were exactly the same as his brother’s! He even retained his brother’s impulses and feelings for him!

The more Jin Mo thought about it, the more his lips curved upwards!

Bai Xian wasn’t a blank slate!

It was just that the writing had been obscured!

Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there!

In time, he would definitely fill the obscured paper with his, Jin Mo’s, marks again!

That night, Jin Mo didn’t sleep well.

He had all sorts of chaotic dreams.

One moment he dreamed of hugging Bai Xian, shaking his head and acting spoiled!

The next moment he dreamed of Bai Xian beating people up!

Then he dreamed of Bai Xian running around in the wilderness, accidentally falling off a cliff, scaring him so much that he screamed “Bai Xian” and woke up from the dream.

Bai Xian, who had already fallen asleep, was also awakened by his scream.

“Little Mo!” Bai Xian quickly got up and grabbed Jin Mo’s flailing hands.

Jin Mo hadn’t recovered from the shock yet, and Bai Xian’s voice sounded as if it were coming from behind a wall.

Bai Xian turned on the bedside lamp and was immediately heartbroken to see Jin Mo covered in sweat.

    “Little Mo, I’m here!”

He tightened his grip on Jin Mo’s arm.

Jin Mo saw Bai Xian’s face and it took a while for him to realize he had had a nightmare.

    He cried out, “Wah!”

“Bai Xian, I was so scared, I dreamed you fell off a cliff, I lunged over to grab you, but you were already gone! Oh, I was so scared!”

Jin Mo hugged Bai Xian’s arm, constantly complaining about how terrible the dream was.

“That mountain was full of thorns, your body was covered in blood from the pricks! I~I told you not to go, but you wouldn’t listen to me, and you kept walking! Blood was constantly dripping from your face! Oh, it was so scary! I was so afraid!”

Jin Mo cried as he spoke, shaking Bai Xian’s arm.

Bai Xian was both amused and heartbroken.

“Okay, don’t be afraid, it’s okay!” He gently patted Jin Mo’s shoulder, comforting him in a low voice.
