    Preparing to settle accounts…

When Luo Yan and Cen Xi returned to the training room, Wu Xinshen and Wu Xinming had finished their game and were sitting side-by-side on the sofa playing with their phones. From their expressions, it was clear that they were still in a bad mood.

“Xinshen-ge, Xinming-ge,” Luo Yan said, pulling Cen Xi to sit beside Wu Xinshen and Wu Xinming, using his body to create a barrier between them.

Wu Xinming responded, turning to meet Cen Xi’s gaze, filled with resentment. After a moment, he looked away, worried that he wouldn’t be able to control himself and would start a fight with Cen Xi in front of Luo Yan, dragging Wu Xinshen into it. That would be difficult for Luo Yan. The brothers had decided that they would settle accounts only when it was just the three of them. For now, they would pretend Cen Xi didn’t exist.

Luo Yan was indeed a little embarrassed. He could feel the bad atmosphere in the training room, but he didn’t know how to ease it. He couldn’t selfishly expect Wu Xinshen and Wu Xinming to forgive Cen Xi without principles, as he had done, nor could he beg the Wu brothers for Cen Xi’s forgiveness. This matter could only be resolved by them themselves; no one else could interfere. But he was also afraid that the Wu brothers would gang up on Cen Xi after he left.

Cen Xi also sensed the atmosphere. He knew how big of a mistake he had made. He gently patted Luo Yan’s shoulder, leaned on him, and whispered, “Yan-bao, why don’t you go out first? I’ll talk to them myself.”

Luo Yan’s first reaction was to shake his head. He looked at Cen Xi, his eyes filled with worry.

Wu Xinming pretended to be looking at his phone, but in reality, he had been watching Luo Yan and Cen Xi out of the corner of his eye. Naturally, he saw this scene. He couldn’t understand why Luo Yan had forgiven Cen Xi’s departure without a word, but he respected Luo Yan’s decision. So, after knowing that Luo Yan had forgiven Cen Xi, he didn’t ask him why. But in the end, he still felt uncomfortable. This discomfort wasn’t just for his own three years, but more for Luo Yan’s three years. Luo Yan didn’t get angry himself, so he would get angry for him. He had to make Cen Xi deeply aware of his mistake.

“Some people, after getting a boyfriend, don’t have teammates anymore. Sigh, I spoiled him for three years for nothing. My heart really hurts. Ge, don’t you think so?” After speaking, he nudged Wu Xinshen.

Wu Xinshen’s inner thoughts were similar to Wu Xinming’s. Seeing Wu Xinming starting to act up, he naturally had to cooperate.

Wu Xinshen nodded. “Yeah, spoiled for nothing.”

Luo Yan’s face flushed red. He quickly explained, “Xinshen-ge, Xinming-ge, I didn’t. Don’t talk nonsense!”

“Is that so?” Wu Xinshen looked at Luo Yan and Cen Xi appraisingly. “Yan-yan, your body isn’t saying that. Look, you and Xinming have a whole universe between you.”

“That’s right, that’s right!” Wu Xinming started to echo. “Yan-yan, don’t open your eyes and talk nonsense.”

“I…” Luo Yan glanced at the distance between himself and Wu Xinming. It was indeed a little far. He silently moved closer to Wu Xinming. After moving, he said weakly, “I didn’t.”

Cen Xi looked at their playful banter with a smile. The atmosphere was really good. He wanted to join in too, but he also understood that he didn’t deserve it now. The three of them had been waiting for him for three years. He owed them three years. Although he had amnesia, he still had to take responsibility. He had to seek their forgiveness and then fight alongside them to try to make up for what he had done.

Cen Xi patted Luo Yan’s shoulder again. Luo Yan also understood Cen Xi’s meaning. He also wanted to escape from here now, not wanting to be the object of the Wu brothers’ teasing. Before, when the Wu brothers teased him, Cen Xi would directly retort, telling them not to talk nonsense and to be more restrained. But now, Cen Xi had been gone for 3 years, and he couldn’t help him retort anymore.

“Xinshen-ge, Xinming-ge, I’m going out to buy some drinks. Send me what you want to eat or drink,” Luo Yan said, finding an excuse to stand up. “Then you three chat first. I’m leaving.”

Luo Yan made a quick escape. The Wu brothers’ goal was achieved, but they didn’t speak to Cen Xi. Instead, they first sent Luo Yan a list of things they needed him to buy before putting down their phones together and looking at Cen Xi, who was sitting upright. The settling of accounts was about to begin.
