Wearing masks, the two walked hand-in-hand to the supermarket next to the base.

“This, this, and this.” Luo Yan kept throwing things into the shopping cart, and Cen Xi dutifully followed behind, pushing the cart.

Does he also like to eat these things? Or is he choosing them for me? It wasn’t that Cen Xi was overthinking it, but a large portion of the things Luo Yan put in the cart were things Cen Xi liked to eat.

“Brother, let’s go look at the snacks! We’re going to be training, so we’ll have less time to go out. We need to stock up on snacks.” After saying that, Luo Yan ran off to the snack area without waiting for Cen Xi’s reply. By the time Cen Xi reached him, Luo Yan’s arms were full of snacks. Seeing Cen Xi and the shopping cart, he immediately ran over and put everything down, filling the cart more than halfway. Then, he ran back to continue his raid.

“All done?” Cen Xi asked, smiling at Luo Yan, who was running back and forth.

Luo Yan looked at the overflowing shopping cart, almost four-fifths full of snacks, and scratched his head. “Hehe, almost. Let’s go, brother.”

Luo Yan took Cen Xi’s arm as he pushed the cart. “Brother, thank you for your hard work.”

After paying, the two returned to the base carrying large and small bags.

“I’m exhausted.” Luo Yan put the things on the dining table in the base and collapsed on the sofa beside it. “I knew I shouldn’t have bought so much!”

“You rest for a bit. I’ll go cook.” Compared to Luo Yan, Cen Xi, except for a little sweat on his forehead, was no different from usual.

“Ah, it’s so unfair, brother. We’re both esports players, why aren’t you tired?” Luo Yan complained about the difference between them.

“Exercise more regularly. If you want, I can take you with me tomorrow morning at 8?” Cen Xi replied seriously. Luo Yan’s skinny arms and legs showed that he didn’t like to exercise.

“Forget it, I can’t do that. Brother, you go ahead. I’ll rest for a bit, and then I’ll go in and help you.” Luo Yan waved his hand.

“Okay.” Cen Xi chuckled and took the ingredients into the kitchen.

Once inside, Cen Xi didn’t hesitate. He found what he needed from the bags and started working.

The kitchen door was semi-transparent, and Luo Yan could see Cen Xi’s elusive figure with a turn of his head.

My brother is so handsome, handsome no matter how I look at him. Such a handsome person is mine, that’s great.

Luo Yan was mesmerized. He secretly walked step by step to the kitchen door and opened it a crack.

“Yanbao, come help when you’re rested.” With his keen hearing, Cen Xi immediately heard the door open.

Luo Yan didn’t pretend anymore and directly hugged Cen Xi. “Brother’s hearing is so good.”

“Give me instructions, what should I do, my lord?”

“Wash these vegetables, and I’ll cook.” Cen Xi turned to face Luo Yan. “Do you want sweet, spicy, or other flavors?”

“Spicy, thank you, brother.” The proactive Luo Yan directly kissed Cen Xi’s face.

“Oh, remember to take out some non-spicy food for yourself before adding chili peppers.”

“Got it.” With a smile on his face, Cen Xi left the sink and went to the electric stove to start cooking.

The two cooperated tacitly. Luo Yan handed Cen Xi whatever he needed, and soon a meal was ready.

Two dishes and a soup were placed on the dining table.

“Here, have some soup first. I’ll get you rice in a moment.” Cen Xi served a bowl of soup and placed it in front of Luo Yan.

Luo Yan took the soup from Cen Xi’s hand and smiled sweetly. “Thank you, brother.”

“It’s a little hot, take it slow.” Cen Xi instructed before serving himself a bowl of soup.

Luo Yan picked up the spoon, scooped, blew, and drank. “Delicious, brother is amazing.”

“Good as long as you like it.” Cen Xi’s lips curled slightly, feeling very content.

Before long, Luo Yan finished the soup and handed the bowl to Cen Xi. “Thank you, brother.”

“Coming right up.” Cen Xi put down his spoon, took Luo Yan’s bowl, and went to the kitchen to get rice.

Luo Yan kept watching Cen Xi. This scene overlapped with the time when they were in love many years ago, and also with the scene in his dream. Brother is back, Luo Yan lowered his head, hiding his emotions.

Cen Xi put the rice in front of Luo Yan and looked at him, feeling that something was wrong with Luo Yan. Having experienced Luo Yan’s anger before, Cen Xi had learned to care about his boyfriend’s emotional problems. “What’s wrong?”

Luo Yan shook his head, feeling that his behavior just now was too sentimental.

“Really?” Cen Xi asked with concern.

“Really, I’m fine, brother. Let me try the other dishes you made and see if your cooking skills have improved after your memory loss.” Luo Yan picked up a piece of food and put it in his mouth, then took a bite of rice and continued to change the subject. “Improved, brother is amazing.”

“Tell me if something’s wrong.” Cen Xi was still a little worried.

Luo Yan smiled to show that he understood and continued to eat happily.

After dinner, Luo Yan volunteered to do the dishes because Cen Xi had cooked. The task of washing dishes shouldn’t be given to the person who cooked. If the person who cooked also had to wash dishes, it would affect the relationship in the long run.

Cen Xi couldn’t argue with him, so he let Luo Yan go, sitting outside and watching his busy figure.

His thoughts escaped. A scene flashed in Cen Xi’s mind. In the scene, someone was washing dishes, and another person was teasing the dishwasher. The dishwasher couldn’t bear it anymore and splashed dishwater at the other person. The other person just smiled, didn’t say anything, and continued watching the dishwasher until he finished washing the dishes, then started her next action…

Looking again at Luo Yan’s lonely figure, Cen Xi felt that the kitchen was a bit empty, missing someone. He no longer sat, stood up, and slowly walked towards the kitchen.
