Chi Nan wanted to learn more about Uncle Fu, so he wanted to search online for information about the entertainment industry. Uncle Fu was in the circle, and if he wanted to be close to him, he would probably have to enter the entertainment industry. But Chi Nan didn’t really want to, so he just wanted to see if there were any job postings.

Chi Nan scrolled through the page with his mouse. Zhang Fang came over, took a look, and started chatting with Chi Nan.

“Nan Nan, have you finally decided to break into the entertainment industry?”

“No, I just want to take a look, see if I can find a job in the entertainment industry.”

“Are you interested in being an assistant? My uncle has a show that’s hiring.”

“It seems to be a variety show that’s being recorded during the summer vacation. They’re recruiting assistants recently. If you need it, I can help you ask.”

“My uncle said that there are currently two positions, one is an assistant to the variety show, which is to take care of the team when they’re not filming, and the other is a regular person. This variety show will invite regular people to participate. See which one you want to go to.”

Chi Nan thought for a moment. He wanted to be closer to Uncle Fu, but that didn’t mean he wanted to show his face in front of the public. He just wanted to familiarize himself with his work, so Chi Nan said assistant.

Jiang Chen nodded after listening.

“The competition for assistants isn’t as great, but the competition for regular people is even greater. My uncle sent me the phone number of the person in charge of personnel. Contact that person when you go for the interview. I’ll send it to you now.”

Chi Nan also asked if it would interfere with classes.

“No, you’re basically an intern. I told my uncle that it’s only during the summer vacation, and the variety show should be finished filming by then.”

What he wanted was a job for around the summer vacation that would allow him to learn about the industry without interfering with his studies. Chi Nan glanced at the time. It was three o’clock in the afternoon. Uncle Fu was going to pick him up later. Newly dating couples seemed to like being together all the time. Uncle Fu said that he had an interview today, and if he didn’t have classes in the afternoon, he could come and watch. Chi Nan didn’t have classes in the afternoon, so he went to the recording site as Uncle Fu’s assistant.

Chi Nan got in the car and sat in the back with Uncle Fu. Little Zhu sat behind the two of them to connect with Uncle Fu on work-related content.

“Brother Fu, I’ve made it clear to them what should and shouldn’t be asked. This is the interview draft, take a look.”

Little Zhu handed the printed draft to Fu Chaoyun. Fu Chaoyun felt the little kid’s gaze while reading.

“Interested?”

Chi Nan nodded. Then Fu Chaoyun moved the hand holding the draft towards Chi Nan, so Chi Nan could see the content on it, which was almost all interview questions and procedures.

Chi Nan glanced at the draft, glanced at Uncle Fu, and then leaned back, started to exchange experiences with Little Zhu, and asked what an assistant needed to do.

“I’ve been with Brother Fu for a long time, and there are fewer requirements. Usually, it’s just helping Brother Fu drive the car, sending things, and so on. Brother Fu doesn’t like to have people around him, otherwise, he wouldn’t only have me as an assistant.”

Little Zhu secretly told Chi Nan. Little Zhu still had a pretty good impression of this future boss’s wife. He didn’t have any airs. Some celebrities’ partners treated assistants like they were serving ancestors, and simply didn’t treat assistants like human beings. It wasn’t like Chi Nan at all.

“Then does Uncle Fu have any other things he likes or especially dislikes?”

Chi Nan asked Little Zhu again. Actually, Chi Nan wasn’t very familiar with Little Zhu, but when Fu Chaoyun was busy, Little Zhu would often tell him, afraid that Chi Nan wouldn’t know. Gradually, Chi Nan and this assistant, Little Zhu, became familiar. Chi Nan initially called Little Zhu “Brother Zhu”, but Little Zhu felt like he was being called “Brother Pig”, so he asked Chi Nan to call him Little Zhu.

“Do you two need to lower your voices a bit more? I’m looking at the draft, I’m not deaf.”

Fu Chaoyun closed the draft and handed it to Little Zhu. Little Zhu took it tremblingly.

“Why not just ask me directly, why do you have to ask him?”

Fu Chaoyun leaned forward slightly, getting a little closer to Chi Nan, and asked Chi Nan with a sense of oppression.

“I wanted to ask about assistant things, you’re not an assistant.”

“No need to ask him, ask me.”
