    Wu Brothers Dialogue

Wu Xinming didn’t know when it started, but he only dared to care about Wu Xinshen silently, and the distance between him and his own brother grew further and further.

Maybe one day, he saw his brother secretly going to the bathroom, rubbing his waist. Because of the pain, and because he was afraid of disturbing others, he could only endure it, clenching his teeth, making some subtle sounds.

He watched the sweat of his brother flowing from his forehead to the ground, he watched his brother’s clothes were soaked with sweat, he also felt his face wet.

He watched there for a long, long time…

But he didn’t dare to go over and ask, he knew his brother didn’t want others to see him in such a state.

Later, he started waiting for Wu Xinshen to tell him about his injury, and he observed Wu Xinshen from time to time. Every time he saw his hand placed on his waist, Wu Xinming was worried to death.

But he waited for a long, long time and didn’t receive anything. In the end, he couldn’t bear it anymore, and ran to question him, only to find out the extent of his brother’s waist injury.

Or maybe it was that time he bumped into Wu Xinshen in the conference room, guiding Qing Lu. It was Wu Xinshen who asked him to bring food to Qing Lu, it was Wu Xinshen who didn’t live with him anymore…

Or maybe Wu Xinshen liked Qing Lu but didn’t tell him. After his brother and Qing Lu got together, he only found out through Luo Yan and Cen Xi…

There were many, many things related to his brother that he accidentally stumbled upon or heard from others…

Maybe his brother doesn’t really need me anymore…

Wu Xinming couldn’t remember when this thought occurred. He only remembered one thing after another, making this thought deeper and deeper in his mind.

Since I am not needed, then stay away.

So, the sense of distance between the two became heavier and heavier…

Wu Xinshen guessed the source of everything.

Wu Xinming turned his head, took a sip of red wine, and remained silent.

Seeing Wu Xinming’s reaction, Wu Xinshen knew he had guessed correctly. He picked up the red wine, “Xinming, I’m sorry.”

“I’m older than you, maybe it’s because of this psychological factor. I feel like my things shouldn’t bother you, shouldn’t make you worry with me.”

“So I tell you the happy things, and I slowly digest those sad things myself.”

Wu Xinshen said slowly, word by word. These were the results of his self-reflection.

“When did you ever tell me happy things? You even hid your relationship from me. Even Luo Yan and Cen Xi knew it long ago. Brother, it’s clearly that you don’t need me anymore, so you don’t tell me anything!”

Wu Xinming suddenly laughed as he spoke, as if mocking himself. Wu Xinshen’s words opened up his view of the relationship between Wu Xinshen and himself, “Brother, in many cases, I feel like I’m just your teammate, like Luo Yan and Cen Xi.”

Wu Xinming picked up his wine glass and tapped it against the glass that Wu Xinshen was holding, then drank it all in one gulp.

He wasn’t particularly good at drinking, and his head was already a little dizzy. He put down the glass, stared at the ground, and said softly: “Aren’t family members meant to be bothered? How can you push me away just because I’m younger than you?”

Sometimes, you think it’s no big deal to hide some things, but for those who love you, maybe telling them won’t make them worry, won’t make the distance between you grow further and further.

Wu Xinming picked up the wine again and poured himself another glass, then drank it all in one gulp. The glass was forcefully placed on the table by Wu Xinming. At the same time, a tear also dripped on the table.

Wu Xinshen’s heart shook. His brother was crying, crying softly because he was afraid of being discovered, crying aggrievedly…
