    Chapter 79 Find a Lawyer

Xie Shuhan shrank into Lu Jin’s arms and found the most comfortable position. She pressed her cheek against his warm chest and listened to the steady and powerful heartbeat.

The surging love and tenderness just now exhausted his last bit of strength. His eyelashes trembled slightly, then slowly dropped, and his breathing gradually became long and even.

Tiredness was like a rising tide, gently submerging him.

Lu Jin lowered his head and looked at the peaceful sleeping face of the person in his arms.

His shallow breathing brushed against Lu Jin’s skin, causing Lu Jin’s heart to tremble slightly.

Lu Jin moved very gently, for fear of disturbing the person in his arms.

He carefully let go of his arms and stood up slowly. The moment the quilt slipped off, the delicate skin of Xie Shuhan’s shoulders was revealed. There were still light red marks on it, which were his marks.

Lu Jin’s Adam’s apple rolled, a soft light flashed in his eyes, and then he leaned over and tucked the corners of the quilt for him.

He turned around and walked into the bathroom, turned on the shower head, and the warm water poured down, and the dense water vapor quickly filled the entire space.

Lu Jin tested the temperature of the water. It was neither cold nor hot, just right. Then he turned back, bent down, and once again firmly passed his arms through Xie Shuhan’s knees and back, lifting him up horizontally.

Xie Shuhan was sleeping very deeply. When he was picked up, he only squeaked slightly and frowned slightly. Then he relaxed again and subconsciously nuzzled into Lu Jin’s arms, like a docile little animal.

Lu Jin lowered his head and placed a gentle kiss on the top of his hair. He walked lightly and slowly into the bathroom step by step.

The warm water slid over their skin. Lu Jin took the shower gel and kneaded it into fine foam. His fingertips were thinly calloused, but he wiped Xie Shuhan’s body gently.

From the red ears, to the graceful neck, to the thin red shoulders, every inch of skin was carefully cared for by him.

Xie Shuhan’s body trembled slightly and his eyelashes trembled slightly, but he did not wake up, but the smile on his lips became softer.

The water flowed down Xie Shuhan’s collarbone and submerged into his waist, causing a slight shiver.

Lu Jin leaned over and kissed his forehead. His voice was low and gentle, as if he was afraid of disturbing the person in his dream: “Be good, I will take you back to sleep after washing.”

The cleaning process is very slow, as slow as a silent confession.

Lu Jin gently wiped the water droplets off Xie Shuhan’s body with a soft towel, then picked him up again and walked out of the bathroom.

Lu Jin carefully placed Xie Shuhan on the bed, covered him with a quilt, and leaned over to tidy up the broken hair in front of his forehead. Then he lay down and gently hugged Xie Shuhan into his arms.

Xie Shuhan seemed to feel a familiar breath, so he crawled into his arms, found a more stable posture, and breathed evenly.

Lu Jin closed his eyes, with a satisfied smile on his lips, hugged the person in his arms, and fell asleep.

I don’t know how long it took, but the sky turned white. The faint morning light slipped through the cracks in the curtains and quietly slipped into the room, casting a hazy light and shadow on the floor.

Xie Shuhan slowly opened his eyes, his eyelashes quivering slightly, and his eyes were still filled with the trepidation and tiredness of just waking up.

He moved, only to find that the place beside him was already cold, the remaining warmth had dissipated, and Lu Jin had left without knowing when.

Xie Shuhan pushed himself up and sat up. He rubbed his sleepy eyes and glanced across the room, finally landing on the bedside table.

There was a cup of warm milk and a note with Lu Jin’s strong handwriting on it: “Drink it when you wake up, be good.”

Xie Shuhan picked up the note, lightly brushed the writing with his fingertips, and unconsciously raised a gentle smile on his lips.

He stood up and put on his clothes slowly, buttoning his shirt one by one, hiding all traces of ambiguity under the fabric.

Then I went to wash up.

After finishing everything, he opened the door to the lounge and prepared to go out.

But in the office area outside the door, Lu Jin’s deep voice could be heard faintly, with a hint of coldness that was imperceptible, completely different from the gentleness in the lounge just now.

Xie Shuhan paused and did not walk over immediately.

“…The opponent’s actions are becoming more and more obvious. First, they maliciously spread negative rumors about Lu, affecting our stock price. Now they have poached two of our core technical personnel and misappropriated our undisclosed project plans. This is no longer a simple business competition.” Wang Li’s voice was anxious and she spoke quickly.

“Mr. Lu, this is not the answer. We must fight back as soon as possible. The best way is to take legal channels and sue them for infringement and unfair competition.”

The sound of the office chair turning was heard, followed by Lu Jin’s cold voice, with undeniable force: “I know, you go contact the law firm and prepare all the evidence materials. Make sure to handle this matter cleanly without leaving any future troubles.”

“But Mr. Lu,” Wang Li hesitated, then said, “Isn’t Mr. Xie a top lawyer in the industry? He has never lost a lawsuit. If Mr. Xie comes forward, the chance of winning will definitely be greater, and…”

Before Wang Li finished speaking, she was interrupted by Lu Jin.

There was a hint of helplessness in his voice, but it also revealed an undeniable doting. Most of the coldness in his tone dissipated instantly: “No need. My wife is so powerful, there is no need for him to intervene in such a small matter.

Besides, he has been very busy at the law firm recently, and it is hard for him to take a break. I can’t bear to let him worry about these trivial matters anymore and tire my wife. I will feel bad for him.”

The affection in these words almost overflowed. Even Wang Li, who was accustomed to the way the two of them got along, couldn’t help but be slightly startled, and then responded wisely: “Okay, Mr. Lu, I understand. I will contact other lawyers right away.”

Footsteps sounded, and Wang Li seemed to be preparing to leave.

Xie Shuhan frowned and waited for Wang Li to leave before slowly walking out.

    “Hanhan, you’re awake.”

Almost as soon as he walked out of the lounge, Lu Jin raised his eyes and looked over. The coldness in his eyes faded away, leaving only a gentle smile.

He stood up, walked quickly to Xie Shuhan, stretched out his hands to pull him into his arms, rested his chin on the top of his hair, and said in an unnaturally soft voice, “Why don’t you sleep a little longer?”

Xie Shuhan was buried in his arms, the crisp cedar aroma lingering on his nose, and listening to his steady heartbeat, her heart felt warm.

He raised his head and placed a gentle kiss on the side of Lu Jin’s face. His voice was hoarse as if he had just woken up, but was so gentle and touching: “Well, good morning, A Jin.”

Lu Jin lowered his head and kissed the corners of his lips back. He rubbed them for a moment before letting go. His fingertips gently rubbed his cheeks and asked softly: “Have you finished drinking the milk? Are you going to the law firm soon?”

Xie Shuhan nodded and hooked the corner of his clothes with his fingertips, “Yes, I have to go.”

“Okay then.” Lu Jin tightened his arms with some reluctance, hugged him again, and then let go, “Be careful on the road and send me a message when you get there.”

“Okay.” Xie Shuhan responded, kissed the corner of his lips again, and then turned around to leave.

However, he did not go directly to the elevator. Instead, when passing by the office area, he paused and walked towards Wang Li’s desk.

“Assistant Wang.” Xie Shuhan’s voice was gentle.

Wang Li was busy sorting out the documents. She suddenly raised her head when she heard the voice. When she saw Xie Shuhan standing in front of her, she was stunned for a moment. She quickly stood up and said somewhat flattered: “Mr. Xie, you…do you have anything?”

Xie Shuhan smiled slightly, the smile in his eyes was gentle, but there was a hint of sharpness hidden in it, “I accidentally overheard the conversation between you and Ajin at the door of the lounge just now. Regarding the dispute between Lu’s company and the other company, please tell me in detail.”

Wang Li hesitated for a moment, then explained the whole story in detail.

From the other party spreading rumors, poaching core personnel, to misappropriating project plans, everything was clearly presented to Xie Shuhan.

Xie Shuhan’s face gradually darkened, and a coldness flashed in his eyes.

His fingers hanging by his side were clenched slightly, and he was already thinking about it.

After Wang Li finished speaking, he spoke slowly, his voice calm but with a convincing power: “After you sort out these evidence materials, submit them directly to Jingyi Law Firm. I will take over the case.”

“But Mr. Xie,” Wang Li looked embarrassed and couldn’t help but remind him, “Mr. Lu… he doesn’t want you to work so hard, for fear that you will work too hard.”

“It’s okay.” Xie Shuhan smiled, the coldness in his eyes dissipated, replaced by a touch of gentle determination, “Ajin is with me, just do as I say.

After saying that, he stopped staying and turned around and walked towards the elevator.

The light in the corridor was bright, and Xie Shuhan’s steps were steady.

He raised his hand and touched the corners of his lips, where the warmth of Lu Jin still seemed to remain.

    Just kidding.

To bully A Jin, instead of suing him to the point of bankruptcy, he wrote Xie Shuhan’s name upside down.
