HUFT Chapter 7
by VolareChi Nan only noticed after finishing his meal that he was the one eating most of the time, and this stranger was just accompanying him for a meal. Chi Nan felt a little embarrassed.
Fu Chaoyun took off his mask while eating, but still wore his hat. Chi Nan had a good memory and recognized him at a glance. This was the person who had appeared on his drawing board this morning, not yet fully colored. This person was Fu Chaoyun. Although there were some differences from the pictures, he seemed more approachable and charming in person.
When Chi Nan recognized Fu Chaoyun, he gave a small exclamation in his heart but didn’t show it. However, he felt it was strange. Now he could confirm that Fu Chaoyun wasn’t a bad person, but he wasn’t someone Chi Nan knew either. Moreover, eating with a celebrity felt strange, no matter how he thought about it. And shouldn’t someone as popular as Fu Chaoyun be more low-key? Was it really okay to appear in crowded places casually?
Chi Nan didn’t ask any questions, nor did he ask Fu Chaoyun for an autograph. He just quietly put down his chopsticks.
“Are you done eating? I’ll take you back to your dorm.”
After finishing his meal, Fu Chaoyun put his mask back on, even though he had only picked at a piece of meat and accompanied Chi Nan throughout the meal.
“No need, since you don’t have anything else, I won’t bother you. I have something to do, so I’ll leave first.”
After Chi Nan finished speaking, he cleaned up the trash on the table, threw it in the trash can, said goodbye to Fu Chaoyun, and ran out of the cafeteria.
“Hey.”
Fu Chaoyun called out to Chi Nan, but Chi Nan ran even faster without looking back.
“Did my identity scare him? He’s running as fast as a rabbit. Oh well, there’s plenty of time in the future. I’ll give the little one a heads-up.”
Fu Chaoyun muttered, watching Chi Nan disappear at the cafeteria entrance.
Chi Nan, who ran out of the cafeteria, was equally puzzled. Were all big celebrities so approachable these days? Chi Nan bumped into him, and he even wanted to take him back.
Chi Nan couldn’t figure it out, so he pouted. Anyway, they wouldn’t have any more interactions in the future.
“However, Fu Chaoyun looks a bit more handsome than in the pictures.”
Chi Nan said, but even if he was a bit more handsome, it had nothing to do with him. He wasn’t his boyfriend, nor his Uncle Fu.
After Chi Nan returned to the dorm, one roommate hadn’t come back yet. He poured himself a glass of hot water and placed it on the table before taking out his phone to check messages. He hadn’t checked his phone for a long time because of Fu Chaoyun. Now, he took out his phone and saw that Teacher Chen had already created the group and sent the content to be prepared in the group, asking everyone to check the files themselves.
Chi Nan first took a sip of water and switched to the same-city dating app. He originally wanted to send a message to Uncle Fu, but Uncle Fu had sent a message first.
[Little friend, remember to eat on time. If you don’t eat well, the police will arrest you.]
“What is this about? He clearly ate on time. It’s just that the situation was a bit special today.”
Chi Nan explained to himself while looking at the message, and then sent a message to Uncle Fu.
“I ate on time, so I definitely won’t be arrested by the police. But Uncle Fu is different. If you slack off during work hours and don’t work hard, you’ll be fired by the boss.”
After Chi Nan finished speaking, the voice message was automatically sent.
After sending the message, Chi Nan held the phone in his hand and thought again, what does Uncle Fu do? Uncle Fu can reply to messages at night, and he can also reply during the day. Will he really not be fired by the boss if he slacks off like this?
Fu Chaoyun also walked from the cafeteria to the school gate, then got in the car before sending a message to Chi Nan. He heard that the little one was actually worried about him being fired by the boss. But in a sense, he was indeed unemployed, so he typed and sent to Chi Nan.
[Recently unemployed at home, a new job will have to wait a few days, I guess I was fired]
Fu Chaoyun felt that seeing the little one today had dispelled the haze of yesterday.
“I have such a big mouth, did I really say that Uncle Fu lost his job?”
When Chi Nan saw the message, he gently patted his mouth with his hand. He was just saying it as a joke, but he didn’t expect that Uncle Fu was really unemployed.
“Uncle Fu, you will find a new job, and it will be ten thousand times better than your previous job.”
The final “ten thousand times” seemed to carry a magical blessing. Chi Nan said it very emphatically, and Fu Chaoyun’s ears were filled with laughter. It turned out that the little one could really be very cute.
Fu Chaoyun received Chi Nan’s message and thought the little one was a bit too cute. Fu Chaoyun shook his head with a smile, said goodbye to the little one, and put down his phone, preparing to drive back to Huai Hai Apartments. He didn’t have any work recently, and even if he did, he had turned it down. This was his habit.
Originally, going to see Lu Cheng today was a planned thing, but meeting Chi Nan at A University was unexpected. However, Fu Chaoyun didn’t mind having more of these unexpected things. If he didn’t have anything to do tomorrow, he planned to take a look at Wen Ci. The little girl had been complaining that he was bad a few days ago, and if he didn’t go see her again, he would really become a bad uncle.
“Uncle Fu, drive safely.”
After sending the message, Chi Nan switched to the group chat. People from his group were already speaking. Chi Nan also downloaded the files on his computer and opened them to take a look.
“Tribute Planning, Splashing Water into Ink, Ink Painting.”
Chi Nan moved the mouse to scroll through the files, muttering to himself. He read these plans simply and glanced at the messages in the group.
The messages in the group were coming in slowly, mostly talking about their own ideas. The final decision would definitely be made by Teacher Chen. These were just several options provided to them.
Chi Nan didn’t have any particularly good ideas when he looked, so Chi Nan waited for the teacher to assign tasks, and then he could complete them. After waiting for a while, Teacher Chen finally spoke in the group.
[When I was looking at it just now, I found that everyone is from many different majors, so I thought about doing a relay painting, painting a “Haiyan Heqing” (Peaceful World), for example, the left side is traditional Chinese painting, the middle is ink painting, and the right side is oil painting. Everyone uses their professional abilities to try to integrate them together.]
After Teacher Chen finished speaking, there were immediate responses in the group, all feeling that this suggestion was good. Chi Nan thought about it. If it was really drawn, it would be refreshing and eye-catching, which was great.
[Then, if everyone doesn’t have any other ideas, let the students studying traditional Chinese painting start the creation, and then relay it bit by bit, and finally end with a Q-version cartoon animation.]
[As for the “Haiyan Heqing” picture that runs through the entire story, who has an idea to do it?]
After Teacher Chen sent the message, the group instantly cooled down. How should the overall drawing be described? If it’s drawn well, it’s everyone’s credit. If it’s not drawn well, it’s your responsibility. The people who can be selected to pay tribute are definitely the best in the art department, but on such a major matter, they don’t dare to speak up.
Chi Nan glanced at the group message. No one spoke. Teacher Chen’s dialogue came in his private window.
[Chi Nan, can I leave this matter to you?]
Chi Nan really wanted to refuse, but he couldn’t type the words of refusal on the keyboard. In the end, he had to send back.
“Okay, Teacher.”
