Chapter 28

    “Chi Nan.”

Fu Chaoyun turned his head and called out to Chi Nan. Chi Nan glanced at Fu Chaoyun. He seemed to have lost weight in the past ten days or so. Chi Nan lowered his eyes, suppressed the emotions in his heart, and didn’t say anything.

“Let’s find a place to sit down for a while, I have something I want to talk to you about.”

Fu Chaoyun spoke first, wanting to find a place to talk to Chi Nan. He hadn’t seen him for more than ten days, and the little friend he had been wanting to protect had actually been bullied by someone else. If he hadn’t arrived in time just now, that slap would have landed on Chi Nan.

“I have nothing to say to you.”

Chi Nan glanced at Fu Chaoyun, turned and left. He didn’t know why Fu Chaoyun would appear here, but now was definitely not the time for them to talk. He also didn’t want to talk to Fu Chaoyun, what was there to say to a liar?

Chi Nan turned to leave, how could Fu Chaoyun let him go? He had been thinking about this little friend for so many days, and now that he had finally seen him, how could he let go? So Fu Chaoyun quickly chased after him and grabbed Chi Nan’s hand.

“Fu Chaoyun, let go, you’re hurting me.”

Fu Chaoyun grabbed Chi Nan’s wrist, holding it tightly and refusing to let go. He was afraid that if he let go, he would slip away from his grasp like last time, so this time Fu Chaoyun would never let go.

“I want to explain to you, things aren’t what you think they are.”

“I don’t want to hear it, let go, I’m leaving. Fu Chaoyun, you big liar, who do you think you are? Coming and going as you please. I, Chi Nan, am not a fool, not someone you can summon and dismiss at will.”

Chi Nan’s little mouth was still chattering non-stop. Chi Nan rarely cursed, only two people could make him burst into swearing: Yu Jianguo, who was utterly shameless, and Fu Chaoyun. All the love and satisfaction he felt had turned into deceit. It was already good that he hadn’t beaten him up.

Fu Chaoyun looked at Chi Nan scolding him and felt happy. His little friend was angry and needed him to coax him. He was a bit like a kitten with its fur standing on end, swallowing his grievances and only leaving behind a strong exterior. This kind of Chi Nan made Fu Chaoyun even more moved.

Fu Chaoyun pulled Chi Nan into his arms, using action to stop Chi Nan’s non-stop talking. He wrapped his arms around Chi Nan’s waist, plundering every inch of Chi Nan’s breath.

Chi Nan’s eyes widened at first, then he pounded Fu Chaoyun’s chest with his hands. The harder he tried, the tighter Fu Chaoyun held him, and he couldn’t break free at all. Gradually, he became somewhat dazed by Fu Chaoyun’s kiss, and could only follow Fu Chaoyun’s breathing rhythm, deeply and shallowly, finally collapsing weakly into Fu Chaoyun’s arms.

When Chi Nan retreated from Fu Chaoyun’s embrace, he raised his fist and punched him. Fu Chaoyun took two steps back, but Chi Nan didn’t use any strength at all.

    “You’re acting quite realistically.”

Seeing Fu Chaoyun stepping back, Chi Nan couldn’t help but say. He knew very well how much strength he had used. How could a punch from him force Fu Chaoyun to take two steps back? He wasn’t a boxing king.

    “Chi Nan.”

Fu Chaoyun called out to Chi Nan and felt a little dizzy. He had been too weak to take two steps back just now. He hadn’t slept well for more than ten days and had just gotten off the plane. He couldn’t sleep on the plane at all. Thinking of coming back to sleep, he was told that Chi Nan was at the Shen family’s house. He came over without even changing his clothes. Even an iron man couldn’t stand it, let alone the fact that he was anxiously worried about Chi Nan at the time. Now that Chi Nan was safe, that aftereffect came up, and he felt dizzy.

Fu Chaoyun saw Chi Nan walking a few steps forward. He wanted to follow and call out to Chi Nan, but he felt a burst of dizziness and then fell to the ground in the grass, not knowing what had happened.

Chi Nan was originally walking forward, but after taking a few steps, he heard a loud noise. When he looked again, he saw Fu Chaoyun lying on the grass.

    “Fu Chaoyun.”

Chi Nan hurried over, the worry on his face was not fake. When he saw Fu Chaoyun lying on the grass, he felt a little flustered. He was afraid that something would happen to Fu Chaoyun.

    “Fu Chaoyun.”

Chi Nan shook Fu Chaoyun. He was too familiar with this scene. Nine years ago, his mother, Chi Ruyue, was like this, falling on the bed, and no matter how much he shook her, he couldn’t wake her up. Looking at Fu Chaoyun like this, Chi Nan’s heart was beating fast, and he was very scared.

    “Fu Chaoyun, don’t scare me.”

Chi Nan’s voice trembled when he spoke, as if he was about to cry. His fingers trembled as he helped Fu Chaoyun up. No matter how much he shook him, Fu Chaoyun wouldn’t wake up. Chi Nan was terrified.

    “Help! Someone has fainted.”

Chi Nan couldn’t wake Fu Chaoyun up, and he didn’t have the ability to take Fu Chaoyun to the hospital, so he shouted loudly, wanting to call the people in the house out.

After Chi Nan shouted a few times, someone came over. Fu Shi also came over. Seeing that the person lying on the ground was her younger brother, she didn’t care about her grace or image, and ran to Fu Chaoyun’s side on her high heels. Everyone was initially watching with a lively attitude, but when they saw Fu Shi running over anxiously, they realized that the person who fainted was Fu Chaoyun. The Shen family saw this and quickly arranged for a car to take him to the hospital, not daring to be negligent at all.

“I’m really sorry that something like this happened at your birthday banquet.”

“It’s alright, it’s more important to see to Chaoyun first.”

Before leaving, Fu Shi apologized to Grandpa Shen first. Grandpa Shen didn’t care too much. Fu Shi took Fu Chaoyun to the hospital. When she got in the car, she glanced at Chi Nan, who was standing there in a daze. Thinking about her younger brother’s temper, the kind of person who had to see him even after getting off the plane, she thought if he woke up and didn’t see him, he would probably be angry. She also asked Chi Nan to go with them.

The car quickly arrived at the hospital. There were already specialized medical personnel waiting outside, so as soon as they got out of the car, Fu Chaoyun was immediately pushed in.

After about ten minutes, the doctor came out.

“There’s no problem. It’s just a brief lack of oxygen to the brain, plus prolonged sleep deprivation. Let him sleep and he’ll be fine.”

After the doctor finished speaking, he pushed Fu Chaoyun into an ordinary ward. Fu Shi and Chi Nan listened from the side and breathed a sigh of relief, especially Chi Nan. Seeing the scene just now, he was really scared, afraid that Fu Chaoyun would disappear like his mother.

Fu Shi went in to take a look and told Fu Chaoyun to sleep quietly without disturbing him. Instead, she glanced at Chi Nan, who was sitting outside, and sat down next to Chi Nan.

    “I’m sorry.”

Chi Nan apologized to Fu Shi first.

“It’s not your fault, he can only blame himself for this. I know a little bit about what happened between you two. Since he is going forward without hesitation, how can I interfere?”

Fu Shi flicked her sexy wavy hair. Her younger brother’s situation had also scared her just now. Now that he was fine, she naturally felt relieved.

Hearing this answer, Chi Nan felt even more guilty. It would have been better if Fu Shi blamed him a few words, but she didn’t blame him for anything.
