PPS Chapter 68
by VolareChapter 68: I Know
The legs of Chu Zhaoyi, who lacked exercise, were sore after a day of following Gu Yusen. They ran from the administration building to the teaching buildings, and from the teaching buildings to the assembly hall, going all over the school.
Gu Yusen intentionally led Chu Zhaoyi to walk more. He chose to go himself for some matters, rather than sending someone else. Seeing Chu Zhaoyi panting, he found it amusing.
“Brother Sanmu, want to go home,” Chu Zhaoyi finally voiced his request, looking at Gu Yusen who was typing away at something on the computer.
So tired.
He couldn’t paint, and had to run around.
A rare hint of irritability arose in Chu Zhaoyi.
“Stop frowning, you’ll turn into a little old man, Chu Jiaojiao,” Gu Yusen glanced at him. The young man had been frowning all afternoon, making him look like a little old man.
“Want to paint. Brother Sanmu, please don’t punish me anymore, okay? I know I was wrong,” Chu Zhaoyi poked Gu Yusen’s arm, using his brain, and knowing to play the victim.
“No, a week is a week,” Gu Yusen didn’t even look up, afraid that he would soften his heart when he saw Chu Zhaoyi’s face. He would soften his heart with just one look at that beautiful face.
“I’m angry!” Chu Zhaoyi said this very loudly, trying to use the volume to tell Gu Yusen that he also had a temper.
Luckily, there weren’t many people around at this time.
Gu Yusen rubbed his ears, not surprised at all, and used to it.
“Little old man, no cheating. You agreed to be punished yourself.”
“Not a little old man!” Chu Zhaoyi’s voice was even louder.
He usually didn’t react much to the strange nicknames Gu Yusen called him, and would only bring it up when he was angry.
“Okay, okay, not a little old man, Ah Yi, be good. After brother finishes, let’s go see Professor Qin, and then we’ll go home, okay?” Gu Yusen perfunctorily comforted him, his hands clattering on the keyboard.
Chu Zhaoyi liked Gu Yusen calling him Ah Yi. The moment that name came out, it was as if he had been kneaded, and his whole body softened.
“Okay.”
Chu Zhaoyi waited unhappily for another ten minutes before Gu Yusen finally checked the time and hurriedly pulled him towards Professor Qin’s office.
He was really busy to death all day long!
Professor Qin received Gu Yusen’s message last night, but he had something to do today and hadn’t been to school yet, nor had he had time to look at the post that Gu Yusen had sent.
After reading it in the afternoon, he was so angry that he took a blood pressure pill!
When Gu Yusen brought Chu Zhaoyi over, he saw that Professor Qin’s entire face was red, arguing with people on the forum with his phone, looking like he couldn’t win the argument.
“You’re here! Little Gu, come quickly, come quickly, I’m so angry!” Professor Qin couldn’t even see his precious student, his whole body was overheating.
He had been an intellectual and aloof artist his entire life, so he definitely couldn’t curse as well as others.
Moreover, he didn’t play with this stuff, and couldn’t figure it out for a while. The account was newly registered.
“Professor Qin, don’t worry, let’s discuss how to resolve this matter,” Gu Yusen completely understood Professor Qin’s current mood. He was the same when he first found out.
He had thought about removing all the posts directly.
But this behavior would only make them seem like they were trying to cover something up.
Actually, solving this matter ultimately boiled down to one thing: proving that Chu Zhaoyi was truly capable and talented.
The best way was for Professor Qin himself to issue a statement, and then display a few of Chu Zhaoyi’s paintings.
That’s why Gu Yusen said he wanted to discuss this matter with Professor Qin.
“Ah Yi, recently some unflattering comments about you have appeared on the forum. We’re discussing with Professor Qin how to resolve it,” Gu Yusen didn’t plan to show Chu Zhaoyi the specific posts. The words spoken out of jealousy by strangers he had never met were particularly harsh.
He didn’t want these words to defile the young man’s eyes.
Unexpectedly, Chu Zhaoyi nodded: “I know.”
Gu Yusen knew that Chu Zhaoyi didn’t like playing on his phone much. All day long, he either painted or stared at the red roses by the window. He didn’t expect him to know about this.
After thinking about it, he probably understood. Zhang Haoyu must have told him.
“When did you find out? Why didn’t you tell us! The teacher will stand up for you! Those people are really crazy. They don’t know anything and just keep talking online!” Before Gu Yusen could say anything, Professor Qin couldn’t hold back any longer.
His own precious student had been wronged, looking pitiful, afraid of causing trouble for him and not daring to say anything, silently enduring the insults.
A scene appeared in Professor Qin’s mind: the young man holding his phone, squatting in the corner, miserably reading the posts, the tears in his eyes about to fall, looking particularly pitiful.
The more Professor Qin thought about it, the angrier he became, and he slammed the table hard.
Chu Zhaoyi was startled, his gaze landing on Professor Qin’s overheated face, and he quietly said to Gu Yusen, “The teacher’s face is so red.”
Gu Yusen pressed the young man’s head, which was about to stick to his face, back.
Such an undisciplined thing, always looking for an opportunity to get close to him.
He didn’t even look at the occasion.
“Ah Yi, why didn’t you tell brother you knew about this?” Gu Yusen was also on the same side as Professor Qin.
Chu Zhaoyi didn’t care much about his reputation, or how he was seen in the eyes of others. He didn’t take this matter seriously at all.
It wasn’t until he saw that some people had started to attack Gu Yusen along with him that a feeling similar to anger arose.
“I will solve it,” Chu Zhaoyi looked at their serious faces and vaguely felt that he seemed to have done something wrong. He could solve this matter himself, so he didn’t mention it.
“How will you solve it! Do you know who the mastermind is? Huh?” Professor Qin had a quick temper and spoke a little harshly.
Gu Yusen glanced at Professor Qin with a warning in his eyes, this was his kid, and no one was allowed to scold him. But he also knew that Professor Qin was genuinely doing it for Chu Zhaoyi’s good, so he didn’t say much.
“I know,” Chu Zhaoyi touched his nose.
“Who is it?”
That’s right, Chu Zhaoyi must have offended someone. He probably knew who it was.
Chu Zhaoyi blinked his eyes and didn’t speak.
As soon as Gu Yusen saw the young man like this, he knew that he didn’t want to say.
Chu Zhaoyi was an independent and complete person. Perhaps they perceived the young man to be particularly fragile, which led them to want to do everything themselves and solve everything for him.
But these hardships were part of life.
Chu Zhaoyi chose to solve it himself.
Perhaps they shouldn’t interfere.
Professor Qin didn’t think so much. Seeing Chu Zhaoyi not speaking, he became anxious. His own student was good in every way, except that he was like a sealed bottle.
Gu Yusen held down Professor Qin and stroked the young man’s soft hair with one hand.
“Brother underestimated Ah Yi. If Ah Yi wants to solve it himself, then go ahead and do it. Come find me if you have any difficulties.”
Chu Zhaoyi felt very comfortable being rubbed, and his head subconsciously rubbed against Gu Yusen’s palm.
“I’ll be a little slow, Brother Sanmu.”
