    Chapter 65

Gu Yusen stared at the surveillance footage on the computer, feeling overwhelmed.

Before seeing the footage, he didn’t quite believe that Chu Zhaoyi had done such a thing, but now, the truth was right in front of him.

He had no choice but to believe it.

Zheng Qi didn’t know what had happened, only that the person named Zhang Xuan seemed to have fallen down the stairs and had already been taken away by the ambulance. Gu Yusen’s assistant had gone with them.

He had dutifully brought Gu Yusen to the surveillance room and then been shut out.

After a few minutes, Gu Yusen pushed the door open and came out.

    “Zheng Qi, thanks.”

“No problem, Brother Gu. What happened? What’s wrong with Zhang Xuan?”

“He accidentally fell down the stairs.” Gu Yusen rubbed his temples, now completely sober.

Zheng Qi was a shrewd person and knew something must have happened, otherwise why would Gu Yusen go into the surveillance room?

But his cleverness lay in not being nosy or asking too many questions.

“Okay, if you need anything, contact me. I’ll head out.” Zheng Qi waved his hand and left.

    “Okay.”

Gu Yusen also turned to leave. The assistant had brought a driver over, and he had told the driver to take Chu Zhaoyi to the car and wait for him.

“Young Master Gu.” The driver saw Gu Yusen and got out to open the car door for him.

Gu Yusen nodded and got into the car. “Go to the small apartment.”

    “Understood.”

Chu Zhaoyi sat obediently in the car, waiting for someone. When he saw Gu Yusen return, his bright eyes stared at Gu Yusen.

It was impossible to imagine that such a well-behaved young man could commit such an extreme act.

Gu Yusen felt a little tired. It was still his oversight. Mason had repeatedly emphasized Chu Zhaoyi’s psychological issues, but he had always thought that Chu Zhaoyi was always obedient in front of him, so he hadn’t taken it seriously.

If he had paid attention earlier and taught him slowly, Chu Zhaoyi would eventually understand.

But it was still okay now.

The assistant had just called to say that Zhang Xuan was fine, just some bruises. He was awake and receiving an IV drip in the hospital room.

“Is Sanmu *gege* angry?” Chu Zhaoyi also realized that Gu Yusen was in a bad mood, and his bright eyes dimmed a little.

Sure enough, he shouldn’t have been impulsive.

He should have been more careful.

He shouldn’t have let Sanmu *gege* find out.

    Would Sanmu *gege* dislike him?

Gu Yusen was naturally angry, but seeing Chu Zhaoyi’s pitiful appearance, he couldn’t bring himself to be harsh.

“Not angry.” There was a driver in the car, and he didn’t want to say too much, he just grabbed Chu Zhaoyi’s hand and held it in his palm.

When they arrived home, Gu Yusen got out of the car and told the driver, “Wait here for half an hour, I’ll go to the hospital to take a look later.”

    “Okay.”

Chu Zhaoyi was a little unhappy when he heard this.

    “Why?”

Gu Yusen pulled him upstairs, confused by this random question.

    “Why what?”

“Why do you still want to go to the hospital to see him? Are you angry with me?” Chu Zhaoyi thought Gu Yusen must be angry, otherwise why would he want to see Zhang Xuan?

    It was already so late.

Gu Yusen opened the door and let Chu Zhaoyi in, then followed him in.

“Why did you push Zhang Xuan?” Gu Yusen had watched the entire process in the surveillance footage, but he still wanted to get an answer from Chu Zhaoyi.

“I hate him.” Chu Zhaoyi still gave this answer, even feeling a little aggrieved after being asked so many times by Gu Yusen.

“Why do you hate him?” Gu Yusen softened his tone and pressed him down on the sofa.

    “You are mine.”

Gu Yusen choked. How could Chu Jiaojiao seduce him in any situation?

“We’re talking about serious matters.” Gu Yusen coughed lightly, trying to maintain the dignity of his elder brother.

“This is a serious matter.” Chu Zhaoyi felt inexplicable.

    “A Yi.”

“You can’t hurt others arbitrarily.” Gu Yusen felt that Chu Zhaoyi still needed to be taught.

Chu Zhaoyi didn’t say anything, shrinking into the sofa and turning his face away, not wanting to communicate.

“You can’t hurt others just because you hate them.” Gu Yusen turned Chu Zhaoyi’s head back and pressed down on the hearing aid on his ear.

He was afraid that this person would take off the hearing aid if he wasn’t happy.

    “Why?”

“Because it’s wrong. If you do something like this, the police will determine it as intentional injury. If it’s serious, you’ll go to jail.”

    “But I hate him.”

“If you hate him, you can tell me, and I’ll help you teach him a lesson in other ways, okay?”

“But he said, you help him, you like him.”

If Gu Yusen hadn’t seen the surveillance footage, he would have believed it. He could indeed see in the footage that Zhang Xuan had developed strange feelings for him because of a help he had given him in the past. Later, because of Zheng Qi’s unauthorized actions, Zhang Xuan felt that he also had some feelings for him.

But Zhang Xuan didn’t say anything throughout the whole process, or rather, even if he had such feelings now, he hadn’t done anything yet!

“Chu Jiaojiao, don’t talk nonsense. I don’t like him.”

“Then do you like me? Sanmu *gege*?” Chu Zhaoyi heard this and moved closer, sniffing Gu Yusen’s face like a puppy. It still smelled of alcohol.

Gu Yusen pushed Chu Zhaoyi’s head back.

    What did he look like!

    Using his hands and feet!

Gu Yusen continued to lecture: “Did you hear that? If there’s anything similar in the future, you have to tell me, instead of solving it yourself. The first choice when you hate someone is not to hurt them. If you don’t know what to do, come to Sanmu *gege*, okay?”

He knew that he couldn’t instill all the correct ideas into Chu Zhaoyi in a short time, so he could only use this method.

“Okay, I guess.” Sure enough, Chu Zhaoyi thought about the feasibility and nodded.

Gu Yusen breathed a sigh of relief. “So A Yi’s actions today were wrong?”

Chu Zhaoyi hesitated, but finally nodded.

“I won’t do it next time, Sanmu *gege*.”

“Next time, call Sanmu *gege* first.”

Gu Yusen nodded approvingly and patted Chu Zhaoyi’s head as a reward.

“If there’s anything like this next time, I’ll punish you. I’ll punish you this time too, but I haven’t thought about what to punish you with. Do you agree?”

“Okay, I guess.” Chu Zhaoyi was a little sleepy. He wasn’t afraid when he heard this. Sanmu *gege* wouldn’t hurt him.

Gu Yusen took him back to the bedroom: “Go wash up and then go to sleep. I’ll go to the hospital to take a look and be back soon.”

“Then should I go?” After being lectured by Gu Yusen for so long, Chu Zhaoyi could probably realize that his behavior tonight had a bit of a problem. If he was arrested and went to jail, he would never see Sanmu *gege* again.

“You don’t need to. When a child makes a mistake, the parents have to come forward. *Gege* will clean up the mess for you. You go to sleep. I’ll punish you when I think about it tomorrow, otherwise you won’t remember.” Gu Yusen didn’t plan to let Chu Zhaoyi go. He would go himself.

“Oh.” Chu Zhaoyi nodded and went to the bathroom to wash up.

Gu Yusen looked at the message sent by the assistant and turned to go to the hospital.

    *

    In the clubhouse.

Zheng Qi looked at the surveillance footage, which was obviously missing a section, and twitched the corner of his mouth.
