Chapter 59: You’re Seducing Me Again!

Gu Yusen had been quite busy lately, dropping him off every day before disappearing. He’d occasionally find time to have lunch with him, and if he couldn’t, he’d have someone deliver it to Professor Qin’s office.

Chu Zhaoyi didn’t like crowded places, so he usually ate lunch in Professor Qin’s lounge.

When he received the message from Zhang Haoyu, Chu Zhaoyi was in the studio painting, and Gu Yusen was tidying up the drawings scattered all over the floor.

“Need to hand in homework, Brother Sanmu,” Chu Zhaoyi said, tossing the brush back into the box, but with no intention of moving.

“Which one to take?” Gu Yusen held a stack of Chu Zhaoyi’s paintings. Other people, even if they didn’t frame their work, would keep it carefully in a designated place.

This guy, on the other hand, just threw them around. Every time, he had to rummage through a pile of waste paper to collect and put away the paintings the young man had created.

“Anything,” Chu Zhaoyi mumbled, slowly replying to Zhang Haoyu’s message.

    “Are there no requirements?”

“…Yes, it has to be an oil painting.”

“Okay.” Gu Yusen picked out one he thought made him look good and held it up for the boy to see.

    “This one?”

Chu Zhaoyi obediently sat in the chair and nodded. On his fair face, there was a discordant black mark, like an inadvertently splashed ink drop, carrying a bit of artistic randomness, but completely ruining the boy’s original purity and elegance.

“Little Chu Cat,” Gu Yusen chuckled, unable to suppress the smile at the corners of his mouth, his eyes filled with teasing and affection.

“What’s wrong?” Chu Zhaoyi didn’t know why Gu Yusen said that, but instinctively raised his hand, ready to touch his face.

The next second, his hand was grasped in a warm palm.

Gu Yusen grabbed Chu Zhaoyi’s hand and held it up in front of him, “Look, your hands are dirty, Dirty Chu.”

Chu Zhaoyi was painting a landscape painting today, and inevitably got black paint on his hands, but he didn’t notice at all, smearing traces on his face as well.

“Can this stuff be washed off?” Gu Yusen used his clean hand to lift the boy’s chin and look him up and down. Perhaps due to long-term lack of sunlight, Chu Zhaoyi’s face had an unhealthy pallor. The rosiness that he had painstakingly cultivated a few days ago was completely undone by a trip to the hospital for stomach problems.

Such a difficult little thing to take care of.

“Don’t know,” Chu Zhaoyi shook his head, not resisting being held by the chin in this way at all.

    Obedient to a fault.

Gu Yusen met Chu Zhaoyi’s innocent eyes and felt inexplicably nervous. The boy even blinked his eyes, his long eyelashes fluttering like butterfly wings, each blink like a stone thrown into his heart lake, stirring up circles of delicate ripples.

    You’re seducing me again!

“Wait, Brother will go get a towel,” Gu Yusen withdrew his hand and fled the studio.

After realizing that his hands were dirty, Chu Zhaoyi didn’t know where to put his raised hand, so he just held it up blankly, waiting for Gu Yusen to come back.

But Gu Yusen didn’t know why he was moving so slowly.

    His arm was killing him.

When Gu Yusen returned with the wet towel, that was the scene he saw. Amused, he quickened his pace and caught the little hand that was falling due to exhaustion.

    “So clumsy, A-Yi.”

Gu Yusen used the towel to wipe away the paint on Chu Zhaoyi’s face little by little. Chu Zhaoyi’s skin was as tender as tofu, and he didn’t dare to use too much force, so wiping it back and forth was counterproductive.

That black spot had been rubbed open by Gu Yusen, boldly occupying almost half of his cheek.

“Not clumsy,” Chu Zhaoyi said, completely oblivious, but quick to retort.

Gu Yusen guiltily retracted the towel.
