Chapter 5: Let’s Paint a Picture ~
【Do you want to go out? I have to go to the company today.】
Gu Yusen is currently a sophomore on summer vacation. Because his parents went out to handle some matters, the matters here fell on his shoulders.
He occasionally needs to go to the company.
Chu Zhaoyi sat obediently on the sofa watching Gu Yusen walk back and forth, shaking his head.
Gu Yusen still felt uneasy looking at this child. Although he had spent these few days with Chu Zhaoyi, he hadn’t felt Chu Zhaoyi’s psychological problems very obviously.
But he was still a little worried about leaving him alone at home.
Gu Yusen pondered, Gu Yusen gave up pondering.
“Brother Sanmu, come back early, okay?” Chu Zhaoyi didn’t like being in relatively large spaces. He was in the living room now because Gu Yusen brought him down to eat. He preferred to stay in his painting studio.
Chu Zhaoyi approached Gu Yusen, waved his little hands, and smiled with his eyes curved.
Gu Yusen directly covered Chu Zhaoyi’s face with his entire hand, blocking that face that unfairly acted cute.
“What are you doing, what are you doing? What kind of behavior is this? Using your beauty to seduce me.”
Chu Zhaoyi saw Gu Yusen’s expression through his fingers, and knew that he must be saying something again.
But he refused to let him hear.
Chu Zhaoyi pouted a little boringly, broke free from Gu Yusen’s big hand, and turned to leave.
He wanted to go back to the painting studio.
Gu Yusen felt that the child’s behavior was strange, becoming unhappy just like that. Before leaving, he was still worried and asked the family’s butler to pay attention to the situation.
Chu Zhaoyi picked up his mobile phone that he had placed aside. He didn’t use electronic products much, and in the past, during his student days, his mother had strict control over him in terms of learning and didn’t allow him to play with mobile phones.
The one in his hand now was still given to him by Gu Yusen, and the numbers were all new.
The contacts only had Gu Yusen and Officer Liu.
Officer Liu: Chu Zhaoyi, are you free now? Can you come to the police station?
After a few minutes, he felt that what he said was inappropriate, so he sent another message.
Officer Liu: If you’re free, can we come over?
Officer Liu: There are some things I want to ask you.
The information showed that Chu Zhaoyi almost never went out alone. Every time he went out, he was accompanied by his father or mother. This was also why, even though Chu Zhaoyi was already an adult, they still helped find adoptive parents.
Chu Zhaoyi seemed to lack the ability to survive on his own.
Chu Zhaoyi typed a message back on the keyboard.
Chu Zhaoyi: Okay.
Chu Zhaoyi: (Location)
Chu Zhaoyi was in a good mood, humming a little tune, holding a paintbrush in his hand, and replacing a piece of drawing paper on his drawing board.
And the unfinished semi-finished product was casually thrown on the ground by him.
The paintings previously thrown on the ground were all cleaned up and put in the cabinet by Gu Yusen. Now Chu Zhaoyi was throwing them on the ground again.
Let’s paint a picture~
This time, he painted very seriously, unlike the finished products he drew casually before. The artist was very meticulous, depicting a scene little by little.
He didn’t like being disturbed while painting, nor did he like irrelevant personnel casually entering his painting studio.
The butler knew his personality, and stood at the door of the painting studio with Officer Liu, who had rushed over, feeling a little at a loss.
“Mr. Chu doesn’t like being disturbed…”
“It’s okay, I’ll wait a bit. I can take this opportunity to observe Chu Zhaoyi’s current living environment, which can also be considered a follow-up visit to the adoptive family.” Officer Liu himself had a relatively fierce and serious appearance. When he had a straight face, he made people feel a little scared, but when he smiled, he was like a kind uncle.
The butler breathed a sigh of relief, and with professional etiquette, led Officer Liu to look around.
Two hours passed before there was any movement at the door of the painting studio.
