PPS Chapter 25
by VolareChapter 25: Little Curly Hair
Chu Zhaoyi took his time getting his hair done; he could sit still even with it being permed and dyed.
Gu Yusen couldn’t sit still. He played games on the side, and after each round, he circled around the young man, occasionally tugging at his hair, looking quite curious.
Halfway through, it was time for lunch, but they weren’t finished yet. Gu Yusen had someone buy food and bring it over because he didn’t dare leave, fearing that the insecure Chu Zhaoyi would start feeling “emo” again.
At the moment, Chu Zhaoyi was getting his hair permed, with a bunch of strange things on his head.
“Come on, let brother feed you.” Gu Yusen got some simple rice, opened the box, and scooped a spoonful to Chu Zhaoyi’s mouth.
Chu Zhaoyi could actually move, at least to eat, but he thought for a second and then contentedly placed his hands on his lap and opened his mouth.
“Ah.”
Like a child.
Gu Yusen found it amusing and stuffed a full spoonful into his mouth.
Chu Zhaoyi had a large mouthful of rice shoved into his mouth and chewed with some difficulty.
Gu Yusen touched his nose and made the next spoonful smaller.
Chu Zhaoyi didn’t seem to notice Gu Yusen’s little trick and obediently ate what was offered to his mouth. After a few bites, he refused to open his mouth anymore.
“Eating so little, all day long, can your body be healthy eating so little?” Gu Yusen wanted to knock the young man’s head, but realizing he had a bunch of wires on his head, he stopped himself.
“I don’t want to eat,” Chu Zhaoyi shook his head, but couldn’t move it much.
“Just two more bites, be good.”
“No!”
“Chu Zhaoyi!”
“Gu Yusen!” Chu Zhaoyi mimicked Gu Yusen’s tone, and if the circumstances allowed, he would definitely have put his hands on his hips and yelled back!
“You, no respect for elders, how are you calling your brother?” Gu Yusen chuckled. Chu Zhaoyi called him “Brother Sanmu, Brother Sanmu” all day long, and this was the first time he had heard his name from his mouth.
Sounded quite nice.
“Don’t want to eat, don’t want to eat, I don’t want to eat, Brother Sanmu,” Chu Zhaoyi softened his voice.
Like he was being coquettish.
Gu Yusen recoiled as if electrocuted, a little awkwardly putting the lunchbox aside and touching his nose.
“If you don’t want to eat, then don’t eat, why are you being so clingy?”
He sounded fierce, but in his heart, he was thinking that this person really liked him a lot.
Gu Yusen was getting drowsy waiting, having grown tired of playing games. Chu Zhaoyi was still sitting quietly. He could sit still indeed.
It was already four in the afternoon when they finished. Gu Yusen was dying of boredom. He didn’t have much patience to begin with, and he was surprised he could actually sit still.
Finally, he saw Chu Zhaoyi’s freshly baked head.
The young man was a little unaccustomed to such short hair, curiously touching it. As soon as it was blow-dried, he saw Gu Yusen looking at him in the mirror.
Rarely, he looked dazed.
Unlike his usual careless and lazy appearance, he looked like a fool.
Gu Yusen stared at the barber blow-drying Chu Zhaoyi’s hair. At first, he didn’t feel much, but as the barber moved, he saw Chu Zhaoyi’s appearance.
The young man’s face was as exquisitely carved, with a pair of bright eyes sparkling with agility on his well-defined face. His eyebrows curved naturally, complementing his straight nose and full lips. The lines of his jaw were soft, outlining a gentle but firm temperament.
Although his complexion was slightly pale, it was set off by the strands of fiery red and white dyed hair, making him look fresh and refined, like a beautiful work of art, exuding youthful vitality and delicate beauty.
At this moment, he was staring at himself in the mirror with some restraint, a trace of uncertainty in his eyes. His eyebrows were slightly furrowed, as if trying to adjust to this new self. The intertwined strands of fiery red and white hair made him look both unfamiliar and novel.
“Is it not good-looking?” Chu Zhaoyi, seeing Gu Yusen’s reaction, thought it wasn’t good-looking and tugged at his hair, not very happy.
“Good-looking.” Gu Yusen was brought back to his senses by Chu Zhaoyi’s voice, realizing that he had been staring at him in a daze. He cursed himself for being a useless thing, a damned Yan Kong, looking at everyone randomly!
Chu Zhaoyi discerned that Gu Yusen wasn’t lying, stood up and moved his stiff body, and craned his neck to get close to Gu Yusen.
Looking at his almost unchanged hair.
He narrowed his eyes.
“Brother Sanmu, weren’t you here to get a haircut?”
Gu Yusen touched his nose and put his big hand on the young man’s face, covering that alluring face.
Originally, saying that he came out for a haircut was just an excuse. He had just gotten a haircut, what was there to cut? Would he cut it into a bald head!
Thinking so, Gu Yusen still started to fool the inexperienced young man.
“What does little curly hair know? I’m here to touch up my hairstyle, to amaze my classmates tomorrow. I’m still a campus heartthrob, after all.”
“Okay.”
He could fool him every time.

“Professor Qin, hasn’t your good seed arrived yet?”
Professor Qin stared at the registration list carefully three times. After discovering that his beloved disciple’s name was indeed not there, he sighed in frustration.
It was quite embarrassing to say. He only had his beloved disciple’s WeChat account, and it hadn’t been accepted yet. He didn’t even have his phone number. The only number he knew, he couldn’t help but call it a couple of days ago.
With a nervous feeling, he heard a message that the number was no longer in service.
No wonder he was always worried that his good seed wouldn’t come to school.
The number he left was no longer in service.
“Isn’t there still tomorrow?”
He stubbornly refused to admit defeat.
