PPS Chapter 15
by VolareChapter 15 Mason
Gu Yusen brought Chu Zhaoyi to the place. This psychologist was among the top in the country, and under normal circumstances, it would be impossible to get an appointment for today.
But he made a phone call to his father, briefly explained Chu Zhaoyi’s situation, and told him to take care of the psychologist issue.
This morning, his dad called back grumbling and said it was settled, telling him to bring Chu Zhaoyi over.
Gu Yusen happily hung up the phone and brought the young man for treatment.
His own kid definitely deserved the best medical care.
He was simply fulfilling his duty for his father.
This place wasn’t actually a traditional hospital, but a simple small courtyard. For some reason, Gu Yusen felt a bit more at peace as soon as he walked into the courtyard.
The owner of the courtyard had been informed of their arrival in advance and was now standing on the outdoor staircase on the second floor.
“Mr. Gu, Mr. Chu, hello, my name is Mason, you can call me Mason.”
Doctor Mason had a pair of deep blue eyes and a gentle smile always on his lips. His hair was pure black, neatly combed, and he looked young, probably not even twenty-five years old.
Gu Yusen frowned when he saw him and pulled Chu Zhaoyi, who seemed lost in thought, behind him.
“If I remember correctly, we scheduled an appointment with Doctor John, who is fifty years old. And you are?”
“Doctor John is my teacher. His schedule is too tight. He left for B City before you contacted us and won’t be back. But you seemed quite anxious, so my teacher asked me to see you first.”
Mason’s blue eyes held a hint of apology. Changing the doctor without permission before the patient’s consultation was disrespectful.
“To express my apologies, we won’t charge any fees for Mr. Chu’s treatment afterward, and I will follow up with him throughout the process. Of course, my teacher will also be involved when he returns.”
Gu Yusen stood at the door, inwardly sighing at his father’s unreliability.
The moment he saw this person, he immediately sent a message to his assistant to investigate. He received a reply quickly; it was easy to check.
Because Mason… was also quite famous. As John’s favorite disciple, his talent was naturally not to be underestimated. At just twenty-three years old, he had already begun to stand out in the industry.
He could be considered a famous newcomer.
Gu Yusen put away his phone, thinking. If John had personally taken the case, there wouldn’t have been such good conditions; full follow-up = available anytime.
Gu Yusen felt comfortable after equating those two phrases.
He put his phone in his pocket, took Chu Zhaoyi by the hand, and walked into the courtyard, seating him on the sofa in the yard.
“Brother Sanmu?” Chu Zhaoyi blinked in confusion.
“This person is going to chat with you for a bit, be good?”
Chu Zhaoyi looked at Gu Yusen, then turned his gaze to Mason. This was the first time he realized there was such a person in this area. As soon as he looked over, he saw those beautiful blue eyes.
Under the light, those eyes seemed to have been kissed by the sun, sparkling with sapphire-like brilliance, pure and deep.
Mason easily distinguished which of the two would be his patient. Noticing Chu Zhaoyi’s gaze, he returned a polite smile.
His eyes twinkled slightly when he smiled, revealing a warmth and friendliness that involuntarily drew people in.
But these people didn’t include Chu Zhaoyi.
He was just a little curious about those blue eyes to begin with.
Chu Zhaoyi was indifferent to Mason’s smile and even impolitely immediately withdrew his gaze.
Gu Yusen patted him on the head.
“Be polite.”
Chu Zhaoyi didn’t like Gu Yusen’s dog-stroking gesture and bared his teeth at him unhappily.
Mason’s gaze lingered on the young man for a moment, his eyes inadvertently revealing a hint of admiration. The young man’s beauty was like a delicate painting, making it hard to look away.
He sighed inwardly; psychotherapists were not allowed to develop extra, unnecessary feelings for their patients.
