Chapter Index

    Mental villain

Lunch time in the wasteland happened to be lunch time at the military headquarters as well.

Ryan carried the lunch box sent by Felix Stowe and sat across from the TV in the restaurant. He looked up and stared at the smile of the male in the live broadcast room, and placed his palm gently on his lower abdomen.

“Lian?” Xichen appeared with nutritional supplements in his mouth, sat down on the seat opposite him and winked at him, “You didn’t rest last night, okay?”

Ryan looked away from the TV, pushed his box of tomatoes over, and ate absentmindedly: “What?”

“Stop pretending,” Xichen tutted, “It would be rude to pretend any more.”

“What on earth are you talking about?” Ryan looked at him in confusion, his cheeks bulging, thinking to himself that he didn’t know when the hero prepared lunch.

Xichen took a small bite of the cherry tomato. Seeing that his expression didn’t look fake, he was slightly surprised for a moment: “You really don’t know?”

“What the hell?” Ryan raised his chin and waved at him, “Don’t block me if you don’t mind.”

Xichen turned around clearly, glanced at Felix who was eating elegantly, then turned to look at Ryan, whose face was about to be buried in the rice bowl, slapped the rice away from the corner of his mouth, and asked again: “You really don’t know?”

Ryan stared at him intently and clicked his fingers: “What on earth do you want to say?”

“Hey, no, no, I don’t want to rob Mr. Felix from you,” Xichen quickly ran away with Little Tomato in his arms, smiling ingratiatingly, “How can I have the guts to rob you, you say so.”

Ryan rolled his eyes, took out today’s after-dinner fruit from the lunch box, and looked at him while eating: “What do you want from me?”

“That’s not me.” Xichen fastened the lid of the tomato and put it in his arms. He stood with his lower body on the spot and his upper body as close as possible to Ryan. He lowered his voice and said, “I’m just curious about your…smell.”

“Smell?” Ryan was nervous for a moment, and he quickly picked up his collar and smelled it. He didn’t smell any other strange smell. Then he breathed a sigh of relief and glared at Xichen, “I don’t have any strange smell!”

“Ah, I didn’t say it was a strange smell, it was…” Xichen squirmed and felt embarrassed, “It’s the smell of your Lord Felix, it’s too… too overbearing.”

Xichen said, taking two steps back and looking at him with a red face: “Didn’t you notice?”

“I…” Ryan blushed and felt uncomfortable. He didn’t think it was anything at first, but now he felt that everyone in the restaurant was looking at him.

The road was so wide, so they had to go by their side; there were so many windows for cooking, so they had to eat at the window next to them; and… there was nothing wrong with eating, so why were you staring at him?

Ryan was so nervous that he couldn’t swallow. He clenched and unclenched the hand on his leg, pretending to be calm and asked Xichen: “Is the taste very… strong?”

Xichen lay on the dining table, stole a piece of melon from his rice bowl, chewed it quickly and swallowed it, then said with a playful smile: “It’s super rich. Didn’t you realize that no one challenged you when you came here this morning?”

As the most powerful combatant in the military, Ryan was always challenged by some ignorant brats every day. Ryan was very annoyed, but he couldn’t refuse.

No one really came to see him today, which made him quite uncomfortable. Unexpectedly…unexpectedly, this was the reason?

    Wouldn’t that be… wouldn’t that be…

“Lean, the whole army knows that your male insect loves you very much,” Xichen sighed with half envy and half melancholy, “I thought that personally delivering meals and picking up and picking up would be enough to pamper you, but I didn’t expect that I would pamper you so much in bed!”

He deliberately emphasized the last word “favor”, which made Ryan blush, hesitating and not knowing what to say.

    “Ryan.”

Langdon paid from behind. Ryan and Xichen stood up quickly and saluted solemnly: “Admiral!”

Langdon nodded slightly to Xichen, then looked at Ryan: “Come to my office after dinner.”

    “Yes!”

“It’s okay, don’t be nervous,” Langdon smiled, patted him on the shoulder, and glanced at the lunch box in front of him, “Felix brought it to you?”

“No, the male master found the female insect in the wasteland to send it.” Ryan blinked and handed over his small lunch box, “Admiral, eat the fruit.”

Langdon hesitated for a moment, then picked up a small piece and threw it into his mouth. His eyes suddenly lit up: “It’s delicious!”

“This is also grown in wasteland?” Langdon looked at a small box of peeled and cut melons with interest, “It’s quite sweet.”

“No,” Ryan quietly held the lunch box in front of him and explained, “It’s a wild melon accidentally discovered by a female insect in the wasteland.”

The small wild melon means that there must be a lot of impurities in it. Langdon tasted the residual sweetness in his mouth. Not only did he not taste bitter, but it was very sweet, and his spirit became much more stable.

This is definitely not the effect that wild melons can have, but he does not doubt the authenticity of Ryan’s words, and there is no need for him to lie to himself about this kind of thing.

It could only be that Felix had handled these wild melons.

Langdon couldn’t help laughing when he saw Ryan protecting the lunch box: “You don’t have to protect it like this, I won’t steal it from you.”

Ryan smiled sheepishly, showing his two little fangs. He looked silly, but he didn’t let go of the lunch box.

“Okay, go ahead and eat,” Langdon patted them both on the shoulders and reminded Ryan, “After eating, go to my office first.”

    “Yes!”

After Langdon left, the two of them sat back at the dining table. Ryan ate the small melon in two bites. Seeing Xichen still nibbling on the small tomato as if he was eating something precious, he felt sad for him.

“You eat slowly,” he patted Xichen on the shoulder, “I’m leaving first.”

Xichen looked at the melon juice in Ryan’s lunch box eagerly: “Leian, can you give me a sip?”

With a look of disgust on his face, Ryan slammed the lid of the lunch box shut and left without looking back.

Langdon’s office has its own lounge. When Ryan went to the office, Langdon was leaning back on the chair, rubbing his eyebrows with one hand: “Come in.”

“Admiral,” Ryan walked in after hearing this, “What do you want from me?”

Langdon glanced at him up and down, making him uneasy and asked nervously: “Is there something wrong with the front line?”

“There is indeed a problem on the front line, but it’s not a big problem.” Langdon waved his hand, “Let’s not talk about it for now. What’s going on between you and Felix?”

Ryan scratched his head in embarrassment: “Wha…what?”

“Don’t pretend to be stupid with me,” Langdon pointed at him with a smile, “What’s wrong with your smell? Is Felix still afraid that you will be snatched away?”

“No,” Ryan’s cheeks turned red and his voice was weak, “I…I didn’t pay attention to this.”

It is not uncommon for female bugs to have the smell of male bugs, but this usually occurs after high-level males have mated with females, and the smell of male bugs usually does not remain on the female bugs for a long time.

He has never had sex with the hero, how could he…

“Felix’s mental power is very strong. It’s not surprising that he left a scent on you.” Alec took out a bottle of spray from the drawer and threw it to him. “Take care of yourself first.”

Ryan caught it with both hands and sprayed heavily on the exposed skin, then looked at Langdon with bright blue eyes: “Does it still smell?”

Langdon wrinkled his nose and nodded: “It’s very rich.”

Ryan sprayed hard on himself again, even spraying more on his collar and cuffs, for fear that the residual smell would come out along with it.

After using up a bottle of spray, Langdon finally frowned and nodded reluctantly: “Better.”

“By the way, didn’t you mean that Felix…” Langdon paused, his eyes asking, “Isn’t that what?”

Ryan was also embarrassed: “I…we don’t have that.”

“No?” Langdon stood up, held his hands behind his back, and walked around Ryan twice. “If there’s nothing like that, how could he leave a scent on you?”

“I don’t know either,” Ryan was also very surprised. “Last night, the hero had too much energy. I slept with him and he was like this when he woke up.”

“Is it that simple?” Langdon frowned slightly, always feeling that something was a little strange, “Then how is your spiritual sea doing now?”

Ryan was stunned: “I…I didn’t pay attention.”

“Pay attention now,” Langdon pushed him to the sofa and sat down. He stood in front of him with piercing eyes. “Check quickly and see if there are any changes.”

Ryan said “Oh”, closed his eyes, and looked into the spiritual sea, but felt vaguely uneasy, so he opened his eyes again and asked: “You… won’t hurt the hero, right?”

Langdon’s face darkened: “Do you think I dare?”

“Damn it,” Langdon rubbed his forehead, “Has there been any change?”

Ryan looked at his spiritual sea, which was as calm as usual, revealing a faint aura of death… No!

He stared at the blue jade-like sea in front of him, looked down at the soft sand under his feet, then looked at a few coconut trees that suddenly appeared, and the… mental energy lying leisurely on the beach chair and sunbathing.!

Ryan opened his eyes suddenly, looking dazed. Langdon pressed his shoulder excitedly: “How is it?!”

“I… I may have been hallucinating just now.” Ryan pushed Langdon’s arm away, took a deep breath, and looked inside his mind again. It was still the scene he just saw.

His spiritual sea is no longer a stagnant water polluted by black and dirty impurities. The villains made up by his spiritual power are surfing on the sea, basking in the sun on the beach, and even a few are dancing seaweed dance in front of him.

Ryan was stunned, and then turned to look at several tall and upright mental villains. They formed a group to grab the pollutants from the gaps before they had time to be cleaned, and wrapped themselves around them, swallowing the pollutants easily.

“Rian?!” Langdon slapped Ryan’s face with an anxious look on his face, “Are you okay? Can you hear me?”

Ryan opened his eyes, still in a daze. He grabbed Langdon’s hand and put it on his face: “Pinch me hard.”

When Langdon heard this, without saying a word, he squeezed hard and said, “How are you? Are you awake?”

Ryan let out an “ouch” and covered his face with tears in his eyes: “Wake up.”

Langdon breathed a heavy sigh of relief, turned around and sat down next to Ryan, holding his forehead with his hands, his back already soaked with cold sweat.

“You scared me to death!” He glared at Ryan and poked his forehead bitterly, “What’s going on? I thought you had a mental breakdown!”

“I…” Ryan’s Adam’s apple rolled up and down, and he said with difficulty: “My spiritual sea… seems to have been completely transformed by the hero.”

The initial appearance of his spiritual sea was just an endless sea, with no soft white sand beaches, no coconut trees, and no spiritual villains wandering around like aborigines!

Banxia novel, a lot of fun
