    Chapter 92: The Third Wheel

    Saturday, the CET-4 English test.

In the quiet classroom, only the rustling of test papers and the scratching of pens on answer sheets could be heard.

Yu Zhanrong finished writing the last word, skimmed through the test paper, felt there were no major problems, and, holding his pen, looked up at the clock in the classroom.

More than an hour had passed, and he could already hand in his paper, but it was a pity he couldn’t leave the examination hall.

Yu Zhanrong thought about it and decided not to hand in his paper early. Even if he did, he couldn’t leave. He propped his chin with his left hand, twirling his pen in boredom.

The invigilator had been watching him for a while, and seeing his appearance, couldn’t help but remind him, “There are 45 minutes left until the end of the exam. Students, please manage your time carefully.”

Yu Zhanrong spaced out for a while, then lay down on the desk, thinking that Song Baiyan was picking up Guan Yanzhi after her class, and the two of them should come to school to pick him up together.

The invigilator didn’t expect that after a reminder, the student would just lie down on the desk. Shaking his head, he turned and left.

As soon as the bell rang to signal the end of the exam, Yu Zhanrong shook off his boredom, packed up his things, and, holding his earphones, waited for the invigilator’s instructions, ready to rush out of the classroom at any moment.

Guan Yanzhi had indeed come. As soon as she got into the car, she leaned over the back of the seat, her face full of joy: “Fishy, I’m ready!”

“? What are you ready for?” Yu Zhanrong was confused. He should be the one who needed to be ready, right?

The little girl, with her arms open and eyes closed, said with a look of infatuation, “I’m ready to welcome the sacred baptism of a visual and auditory feast.”

    “…”

Yu Zhanrong’s expression was quite complicated. After looking at her for a few seconds, he made a pertinent comment, “This is the perfect age for being chuunibyou.”

Song Baiyan chuckled and warned the restless Guan Yanzhi, “Sit properly.”

Guan Yanzhi pouted and obediently sat back, thinking about the scene later, she was extremely happy, revealing her pearly white teeth.

Song Baiyan’s shirt was large, and when Yu Zhanrong wore it, the hem basically covered his butt, and the sleeves almost completely hid his hands, revealing only a small section of his fingertips.

Yu Zhanrong looked in the mirror, pinched the collar of the shirt and lifted it up, bringing his nose closer to smell it.

Hmm, the scent of laundry detergent.

Realizing his perverted behavior, he quickly let go, cursed himself in his heart for a second, then awkwardly tugged at the hem and opened the door to go out.

The noisy living room instantly fell silent, and Guan Yanzhi’s exaggerated gasp became particularly obvious, even the sound of her swallowing saliva could be heard.

The boy stood by the door, seemingly embarrassed by the atmosphere, and awkwardly grabbed the hem of his shirt, asking uncertainly, “Does it look weird?”

Song Baiyan lowered his eyelids to hide the surging desire. The person he liked was wearing his shirt, standing in front of him with a bit of shyness. Which man could resist?

    “It looks very good.”

    “Really?”

“Too real!!!” Guan Yanzhi finally woke up from her shock. It looked even better than she had imagined. “It really looks super good, but it’s a bit of a pity.”

Song Baiyan raised his eyebrows, “A pity about what?”

Yu Zhanrong suddenly had a bad feeling.

Guan Yanzhi pointed to his pants and said, “A fly in the ointment, I think this can go.”

Yu Zhanrong reflexively grabbed his waistband, looking wary: “Sis, your thoughts are a bit dangerous.”

    Song Baiyan nodded in agreement.

Yu Zhanrong, as if he had received support, raised his chin at Guan Yanzhi: Look, your brother agrees too.

Song Baiyan, with a smile on his lips, reached out and pressed his hand on his shoulder: “Go inside, let Senior Brother take a look.”

Yu Zhanrong suddenly looked up, his eyes full of: Are you speaking human language??

Guan Yanzhi rushed over, wanting to go and see too, but Song Baiyan covered her face with his palm.

“Why are you covering my eyes? I want to see too!”

Yu Zhanrong wanted to say that covering Guan Yanzhi was one thing, but why cover him? Until his lips were touched, all the words were blocked back. Song Baiyan even bit him lightly.

The eyes under the palm blinked repeatedly, and the eyelashes swept across the palm, making his heart itch. Song Baiyan endured it and leaned over again to kiss him before letting go.

“What are you doing?!” Guan Yanzhi slapped his hand away unhappily. Just as she was about to rub over and hug Yu Zhanrong’s arm, she noticed that her Fishy’s face was almost as red as a monkey’s butt.

    “…?… ”

    My apologies.

Perhaps, possibly, her brother thought she was too bright, so he pressed her face.

But looking at her beloved host being so useless, she said with disappointment, “Show the momentum you have when you’re live-streaming and pounce on him! What are you being shy for? Go for it!”

The true nature of Fish Bubbles was completely exposed. Yu Zhanrong just wanted to cover the little sister’s mouth. He glared at her threateningly: “Taking videos, are you still going to watch or not?”

“You, you’re really completely under my brother’s control.” Guan Yanzhi stomped her foot and turned to walk towards the room where she was preparing to take videos.

As soon as she turned her back, she immediately changed her expression.

    Ahhh!!!

My Fishy has succeeded in pursuing him!!!

Being so used to being obedient in front of Song Baiyan, Yu Zhanrong reflected on himself after being told so directly by Guan Yanzhi.

“Show momentum and pounce over?” Song Baiyan crossed his arms, looking at him with a smile in his eyes.

A scholar can be killed, but not humiliated.

Yu Zhanrong steeled his heart and stood in front of him, pulled Song Baiyan’s arms around his waist, raised his head, and tiptoed…

Damn it! I still have to tiptoe to reach him?

It was too demoralizing. Yu Zhanrong glanced around and dragged Song Baiyan towards the sofa.

Yu Zhanrong looked back, took off his shoes, and prepared to get on the sofa. Suddenly, his waist tightened, and he was lifted up by someone pinching his waist. Before he could react, his feet landed on the sofa first.

    “…”

All the momentum gathered for so long collapsed the moment he was sent onto the sofa.

    Didn’t he want face?

Yu Zhanrong pressed his hands on Song Baiyan’s shoulders, looking down at him, but all his momentum combined couldn’t match Song Baiyan’s extremely aggressive gaze.

First try, full of energy. Second try, energy wanes.

Yu Zhanrong quickly jumped off the sofa, hurriedly slipped on his shoes, bypassed Song Baiyan, and entered the next room. Guan Yanzhi was holding her phone and waiting inside with a smile.

“You guys finally came. I’ve been waiting for a while.”

Yu Zhanrong rolled up his sleeves, which were too long: “If the corners of your mouth were pressed down a little, I would have believed you.”

Seeing him rolling up his sleeves, Guan Yanzhi quickly stopped him. She wanted this atmosphere, and rolling them up wouldn’t do.

“They’re too long, they’ll get stuck on the strings.” Yu Zhanrong frowned. He lifted the violin and rested it against his neck, his fingers slightly hovering over the strings, his right hand holding the bow… Just as he thought, the sleeves were too long.

Song Baiyan followed him in and saw him frowning at his sleeves. He stepped forward and pulled the sleeves up towards his elbows a little: “This way they won’t be in the way.”

“Guan Yanzhi, turn on the lights and draw the curtains!”

As the words fell, a circular yellow light shone on the white wall, and an elegant, upright figure fell into the circle of light, like a mysterious painting full of charm, making people want to explore it.

In the camera, under the soft light, Yu Zhanrong’s light golden head tilted slightly against the delicate body of the violin, his slender, fair fingers and the bright black of the shirt forming a strong contrast.

As his fingers danced joyfully, and the bow and strings intertwined, a melodious melody poured out, and the slender figure seemed to be surrounded by notes.

For a moment, there was nothing else in the room but the sound of the violin. Guan Yanzhi even softened her breathing, afraid of disturbing the person immersed in the music.
