Chapter 127: Little Gu, Grabbing Every Opportunity to Seduce

Chu Zhaoyi’s usual daily routine consisted of painting. But now, things had changed. Not only did he have to chat with Xie Yuyin, who visited him every day like clockwork, but he also had to humor Zhang Anru on the messaging app by responding to her shared, bizarre links.

And after confirming their relationship, Gu Yusen had become even clingier. He stuck to Chu Zhaoyi’s side all day long, never moving. Before, he had his own things to do, but now he spent twenty-four hours a day with Chu Zhaoyi, occasionally stealing kisses when no one else was around.

Especially that art studio; with hardly anyone around, it had become Gu Yusen’s playground.

Mo Jincheng got angry just looking at Gu Yusen’s foxy demeanor. What’s more, the two had never hidden their relationship. Now, it was all over the campus network.

Gu Yusen didn’t stop it; instead, he seemed to tacitly approve of it.

Chu Zhaoyi remained oblivious to the outside world, painting purely all day long.

It was just that Gu Yusen’s constant clinging made it a little hard for him to concentrate.

So, he directly had Gu Yusen stand in front of the easel as his model.

He had painted Gu Yusen’s face many times, so he was familiar with it. But looking at him was a different feeling.

Gu Yusen leaned back in the old sandalwood chair in the studio, his nape resting against the carved back, not minding the discomfort. The afternoon sun streamed through the blinds, casting fine golden lines across his brow bones and under his eyelids.

Chu Zhaoyi’s brush hovered above the palette, a drop of cobalt blue paint about to fall.

He stared at Gu Yusen’s collarbone, barely visible beneath his shirt collar—where a red mark he had bitten that morning remained, now rising and falling gently with the movement of his Adam’s apple.

“Teacher,” Gu Yusen suddenly said, his gaze fixed on Chu Zhaoyi’s face, his fingers unbuttoning the third button on his shirt. “Wouldn’t this angle be more artistic?”

Since confirming their relationship, Little Gu was seizing every opportunity to seduce Little Chu.

Before, uncertain of Chu Zhaoyi’s feelings, he was hesitant to make a move, but now he was completely letting loose.

One wondered who was the one who had righteously pushed Chu Zhaoyi’s face away before, saying he wasn’t being reserved enough.

His phone vibrated wildly on the easel. Chu Zhaoyi glanced at the screen and saw the ninth message from Zhang Anru, sharing a horoscope link.

He sighed like an old man, sent an emoji back to Zhang Anru, and jabbed the brush heavily into the paint.

Gu Yusen’s laughter made the chair creak. He was too familiar with the faint pink that rose on the back of Chu Zhaoyi’s neck, like watercolors blooming on rice paper.

He had somehow circled around behind Chu Zhaoyi, resting his chin on the top of his head and chuckling softly, “Teacher, how’s the painting coming along? Your model is getting a little tired.”

His fingers slid down the young man’s spine, drawing a circle at the base of his spine.

One wondered how he could be tired just lying on the chair.

Chu Zhaoyi suddenly turned around, sweeping the paintbrush across Gu Yusen’s collarbone. The cool cobalt blue flowed along his skin, like adorning a fox with a sapphire necklace.

He grabbed the other man’s tie and tugged him down, biting the dangling silver chain amidst Gu Yusen’s surprised gaze.

Outside, the ginkgo trees rustled in the breeze, and the paint box was knocked to the ground. On the linen canvas, the unfinished portrait dissolved into a large patch of peacock green—from the turpentine that Gu Yusen had knocked over.

Chu Zhaoyi’s hearing aid had fallen into the corner at some point. Now, he could only feel Gu Yusen’s chaotic heartbeat through the vibration in his chest.

“A-Yi…” Gu Yusen suddenly grasped the hand that held the brush, guiding it to draw a crooked heart on his chest. “How about using vermilion next time?”

A blue heart appeared on the white shirt, a bit ugly.

His seduction skills, however, seemed to have come naturally.

Chu Zhaoyi bit down on the silver chain, using a little force to pull Gu Yusen closer.

Looking at the pure joy spreading in Gu Yusen’s eyes, he spoke expressionlessly.

“Brother Sanmu needs to be a serious model.”

After he finished speaking, he pushed the person away.

Chu Zhaoyi the painter was super serious.

    Gu Yusen:?
