    Chapter 69: Like a Puppy

Chu Zhaoyi was still being “punished,” and he felt a bit bored in class. Zhang Haoyu, sitting next to him, became vigilant whenever he saw him pick up a pen after Gu Yusen’s words.

This was the second class of the morning, and after it was over, it would be lunchtime.

Gu Yusen had to go to the company today and didn’t have time to bring him food. He originally wanted to find someone to deliver it, but Chu Zhaoyi refused. He had a class in the first session this afternoon and wanted to go back to the dormitory for a nap, so he could eat in the cafeteria with Zhang Haoyu.

Gu Yusen thought Chu Zhaoyi was too picky and wouldn’t be able to eat much of the cafeteria food.

But at least the boy was actively reaching out to the outside world, so he didn’t refuse, just told him not to eat anything spicy.

Last time, he had a single bite of something spicy and ended up in the hospital.

“Zhang Haoyu, can I go to the cafeteria with you today?” Chu Zhaoyi asked Zhang Haoyu near the end of class.

“Sure, what do you want to eat? Brother Gu isn’t coming today?” Zhang Haoyu of course agreed; he had been eating alone recently and was terribly bored.

“Anything is fine, just nothing spicy,” Chu Zhaoyi remembered Gu Yusen’s words.

“Brother Sanmu has something to do today.”

“Okay, I know there’s a super delicious Malatang (a spicy and numbing soup) on the third floor of the East District, but they have non-spicy options. I’ll take you there,” Zhang Haoyu patted his chest, guaranteeing that Chu Zhaoyi would eat something he thought was the most delicious!

Since last time, Chu Zhaoyi had a particularly good impression of Zhang Haoyu. If he had to rank them in his heart, Brother Sanmu would be first, then Zhang Haoyu and Professor Qin would be second.

Zhang Haoyu was an optimist, like a Chinese field dog wagging its tail all the time.

“Okay,” as if infected by Zhang Haoyu’s emotions, the corners of Chu Zhaoyi’s mouth turned up slightly.

“Can you accompany me to the studio on the way?”

“Sure, wait, Brother Gu doesn’t let you paint,” Zhang Haoyu completely admired Gu Yusen and naturally worshipped Gu Yusen’s words one hundred percent!

The corners of Chu Zhaoyi’s mouth, which had just curved upward, drooped again.

    Annoying!

“Just going to get paintings, there are too many, the dorm doesn’t have enough space,”

“Okay then,” Zhang Haoyu breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a little puzzled. Professor Qin’s studio was his personal one, and no one else went there, so wasn’t such a big studio large enough to store Chu Zhaoyi’s paintings?

But he wasn’t one to be nosy, being a porter would do.

Chu Zhaoyi’s small frame probably couldn’t carry them.

It just so happened that he hadn’t been to Professor Qin’s studio yet, hehe, curious. He really had Chu Zhaoyi to thank.

After class, the two went directly to the studio. The cafeteria was on the way, and it would only take about five minutes to go to the studio and get something.

But for the cafeteria at this time, five minutes was enough for them to lose all the seats.

“Zhaoyi, let’s stay for another twenty minutes, and there will be fewer people in the cafeteria, otherwise it will be crowded if we go now,” Zhang Haoyu was in the studio, looking at everything with curiosity.

The studio was very well-equipped, with the best painting materials, things he had heard of but couldn’t afford.

What’s the difference between this and a mouse getting into a rice jar!

He wanted to steal everything, wuwuwu!

“Okay,” Chu Zhaoyi sat on a small stool, watching Zhang Haoyu turn around and around, feeling a little funny.

    Like a puppy.

    Curious about everything.

“Do you like it a lot?” Chu Zhaoyi felt a very strong emotion of liking from Zhang Haoyu.

“Of course! Every painter dreams of having a studio like this, wuwuwu, did Professor Qin buy all these things? Or did you buy them yourself?” Zhang Haoyu was very excited, but he just craned his neck to look, not rudely moving around.

    “The teacher replenishes them regularly.”

“That’s great, wuwuwu, I want to see your paintings! I’ve never seen them! To be taken in by Professor Qin, you must be very good!”

Chu Zhaoyi pointed to the two stacks on the table.

Zhang Haoyu was shocked after looking at a few of them. He also had talent in this area, but not to the extent of Chu Zhaoyi.

But he could still understand Chu Zhaoyi’s paintings.

“Damn! You paint so well! Why is Xie Haoran’s assignment first in Teacher Zhang’s class! I’ve seen his assignment, it’s great, but it can’t compare to yours at all!”

After looking at a few pictures, Zhang Haoyu couldn’t hold back a bit. Another thing that was used to attack Chu Zhaoyi in the forum was Teacher Zhang’s class assignment.

Xie Haoran was first, and Chu Zhaoyi was ranked more than twentieth. This completely proved that Chu Zhaoyi used connections to become Professor Qin’s student!

Although the final grades were not announced, as Xie Haoran’s roommate, he knew what Xie Haoran had submitted.

Chu Zhaoyi shook his head, not caring much.

“That Teacher Zhang, they all say he’s a great teacher, he really has bad eyes!”

    Zhang Haoyu was angrily.

“Oh right, there are too many paintings, let’s put them in the dormitory on the way,” Zhang Haoyu suggested.

    Chu Zhaoyi nodded.
