Chapter 80: Sleepless Young Master Zhou

The black Hummer drove through the bustling city streets and finally stopped at the entrance of Beicheng University.

Zhou Zhou’s tense body gradually relaxed. Being with the male lead was too oppressive; he didn’t even dare fart.

He still needed to be polite, or he would seem rude. He raised the corners of his mouth and smiled, “Senior Pei, thank you for giving me a ride back.”

Pei Yanlie narrowed his eyes slightly, recalling the post on the campus network, and said in a deep voice, “Zhou Zhou, don’t mind what others say.”

Zhou Zhou looked blank, not understanding what he meant. “Ah?”

Pei Yanlie’s face darkened, his voice still cold, “Beicheng University focuses on harmonious teaching and will never allow problem students to disrupt the school’s rules.”

[So, what are you trying to say?]

Zhou Zhou directly asked, “Does Senior Pei think I’ve disrupted the school’s order?”

Pei Yanlie sighed and softly explained, “I read the post on the campus network.”

Zhou Zhou wore a bewildered expression and asked, “Huh? So? What did Senior Pei mean just now?”

Pei Yanlie gazed at his clear, questioning phoenix eyes and said hoarsely, “Don’t take those abusive words to heart. I’ll help you find the internet trolls hiding in the shadows.”

Just glancing at those vicious words made the veins on his forehead throb.

“Ah? Isn’t that unnecessary? I don’t care,” Zhou Zhou said, knitting his brows tightly. He felt that Pei Yanlie was acting strange, so he changed the subject. “Senior Pei, how was your chat with Little Wanxing?”

Pei Yanlie’s eyes darkened, and he said with an ambiguous tone, “Mm, pretty good.”

Zhou Zhou’s eyes flickered, his tone carrying a hint of excitement, “Then when are you planning to get married? You must invite me to the wedding. Oh, right, how many children do you plan to have?”

    Pei Yanlie: …

[Cough cough, what’s with that look? Can’t even ask?]

Pei Yanlie said faintly, “This is a private matter between her and me. I hope you don’t get too close to her in the future; I’ll be jealous.”

    “Emm…”

Zhou Zhou didn’t show it on his face, but he was already frantically complaining in his heart.

[As expected of the male lead with a strong possessive desire; he’s already starting to show it?]

[Okay, okay, I’m afraid of you.]

[Looks like most of my plans won’t have a chance to be used.]

[But it’s good this way; if the male and female leads have a happy reunion soon, I can start a new life with peace of mind, pick up girls, and carry out my getting-laid plan.]

Zhou Zhou’s mind wandered, but Pei Yanlie’s expression grew increasingly gloomy. An urge surged in his heart to tie this person up, lock him in a dark room, and forcibly bend him.

Zhou Zhou seemed to sense something, and an ominous premonition enveloped his heart. He quickly opened the door and jumped out, leaving behind a sentence: “I’ll get off here first, goodbye, Senior Pei.”

Without waiting for a reply, he quickly walked into the school gate, muttering to himself, “What an unpredictable man. Will Little Wanxing be able to put up with his temper in the future?”

Tsk, that’s their business; it has nothing to do with him.

Zhou Zhou crossed his hands behind his head and strolled leisurely along the school path, feeling more relaxed than ever before.

Thinking of the masquerade ball tomorrow night, he raised the corners of his mouth, revealing a charming smile.

The night was dark, and Zhou Zhou tossed and turned in bed in the dormitory. Qu Minghui’s snoring echoed throughout the room, sometimes high-pitched, sometimes silent as if holding his breath.

Zhou Zhou couldn’t sleep, so he simply got up. He noticed a sliver of light leaking from the curtain of the upper bunk, raised his eyebrows, stepped onto the ladder, reached out and yanked open the curtain, and said quietly, “Chen Qihang, what are you doing up so late?”

Chen Qihang’s whole body shuddered, and he growled, “Damn it! Trying to scare someone to death!”

Zhou Zhou lowered his voice and said, “Feeling guilty? Secretly hacking into the computers of countless female compatriots?”

“I’m not that perverted,” Chen Qihang retorted, showing him the laptop screen. “The most popular online game right now. A master is carrying me, and I can even earn some money.”

“What kind of master is so awesome that they can carry you and let you earn money?”

Chen Qihang didn’t hide anything and said directly, “My savior. The mixed-race man I met at the beach, named Qin Yang.”

Zhou Zhou’s pupils contracted slightly. That’s Black Spider. This idiot is actually playing games with Black Spider?

He probably doesn’t know Qin Yang’s real identity yet. If he did, he’d probably be so angry he’d vomit blood.

Zhou Zhou looked at him with interest, anticipating the scene when they drop their masks in the future.

He teased softly, “Playing games with a man at two in the morning, don’t you think that’s a little sus?”

Chen Qihang said unhappily, “Don’t overthink it. He and I are just pure gaming buddies.”

Zhou Zhou said ambiguously, “Ah-hmm, whatever you say. Don’t fall too deep; your little heart won’t be able to take it later.”

Chen Qihang didn’t understand what he was saying, returned his gaze to the screen, and ignored him.

Zhou Zhou retreated, feeling he got nothing out of it. He returned to his bed, put on his earphones, and took out his phone to watch a trashy romance drama.

He randomly clicked on a newly released trashy drama on the homepage and started watching it seriously.

The first episode was a total train wreck. The female lead was walking on an empty street and was hit by bird poop falling from the sky, dying on the spot.

The next second, she was reborn.

As soon as she woke up, she was forced into indescribable acts. At first, Zhou Zhou watched with a dry mouth, but later he gradually furrowed his brows and muttered, “Strange, this female lead’s chest is a little flat.”

Zhou Zhou casually touched his own chest and nodded in satisfaction when he felt his thin chest muscles. “This female lead is no good; she’s not even as good as me.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the female lead’s shorts were flicked away by the male lead at the crucial moment.

    “…”

Ahhh! What the hell is this! Zhou Zhou looked horrified.

The female lead also shouted, “Ahhh! Why did I turn into a man!!”

A homophobic person was forced to watch an episode of a trashy drama full of gay romance. He clenched his fists, gritted his teeth, and cursed angrily, “Damn it, did it have to be this dog-bloody andkēng diē!”

At four in the morning, Chen Qihang finally finished the game and got up to go to the bathroom.

His peripheral vision caught a glimpse of Zhou Zhou’s face and met Zhou Zhou’s wide-eyed phoenix eyes.

Chen Qihang staggered back, his legs went soft with fright, “Damn, what are you doing? Not sleeping in the middle of the night, staring with those dead eyes.”

Zhou Zhou ignored him, rolled over, and left him with his back.

Chen Qihang scratched his messy hair and slowly walked into the bathroom.

At the break of dawn, Zhou Zhou finally closed his eyes and fell asleep.

However, less than ten minutes later, the dormitory door made a loud “thump,” and the three people in room 606 were awakened, except for Chen Qihang, who remained unmoved.

Zhou Zhou quickly got up and rushed over to open the door, “Damn it! Which idiot kicked the door?”

The hallway was dark and empty.

Zhou Zhou narrowed his eyes and saw a figure seemingly hiding near a dormitory door not far away.

He walked over barefoot, cracking his knuckles, “Got the nerve to kick the door. Who gave you the guts?”

The person heard the sound and, knowing he couldn’t hide, stepped out and snorted coldly, “What, you want to hit someone? I’m telling you, my dad is… Ah…”

Before he could finish speaking, he took a punch to the face.

Zhou Zhou sneered, “Shut your mouth; I’m not interested in knowing who your dad is.”
