TLCBITAR Chapter 21
by VolareInside the designer clothing store, a boy with a non-mainstream outfit was surreptitiously leading a pure and pretty college girl towards the fitting rooms.
The salesperson, who was sorting clothes, stopped and said, “Excuse me, customers, the fitting rooms are not free to enter. You need to select clothes before taking them inside to try on.”
Zhou Zhou and Su Wanxing exchanged a look, nodded, randomly grabbed a piece of clothing each, and rushed into the fitting rooms, their speed suggesting they could barely restrain themselves.
The salesperson’s face flushed red and then darkened. Staring at their retreating figures, she muttered, “Suspicious. Are those two lovebirds going to do something…indescribable in there?”
As soon as they entered the fitting rooms, Zhou Zhou looked around. “Number seven is on the left. The lock is broken; just push the door open and go in!”
Su Wanxing clenched her fists, took a deep breath, and nodded emphatically. For the sake of being with her true love, she was going all out!
Seeing the white lotus female lead heading towards room seven step by step, Zhou Zhou quickly went to the right, preparing to hide and watch.
His eyes were fixed on Su Wanxing. He casually pushed open a door and walked in without even looking.
[Go for it! Little Star! Plunge boldly into Pei Yanlie’s embrace!]
The next second, his body slammed into a hard, unyielding wall of muscle.
With a “bang,” the fitting room door was kicked shut.
Looking at the muscular, naked man with a dark expression close at hand—no, he was wearing black boxer briefs!
Zhou Zhou’s eyes widened, and his whole body seemed frozen by a spell.
[Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!!!!]
[Why is Pei Yanlie here!!]
[#@$%##]
With a “smack,” a yellow talisman was stuck to his forehead.
His pupils constricted, as if he had been subdued.
Pei Yanlie leaned one hand against the fitting room door, trapping the evil spirit Zhou Zhou in front of his chest, preventing him from escaping.
His brows were furrowed together, his eyes churning with a violent rage, and his voice trembled with fury, “You have a lot of nerve, daring to come here and peep at me!”
Zhou Zhou swallowed hard, tore off the talisman, and stammered, “Pei… Senior Pei, I didn’t know you were here.”
[Isn’t Pei Yanlie in room seven!]
[Coming here is one thing! But not locking the door! Is he doing this on purpose!]
[So what if you have eight-pack abs?]
[Move, move! You’re going to touch me!]
Zhou Zhou retreated, his butt pressed against the door, unable to move back any further.
He bit his lip and lowered his head, his gaze suddenly falling on the patch of black fabric, and his face instantly flushed crimson.
[Why are you so big!]
Pei Yanlie’s expression turned sharp. He abruptly stepped back, veins popping on his forehead as he suppressed the urge to kill, laughing in anger, “So you’re a pervert.”
Zhou Zhou immediately turned around, facing away from him, his ears burning red. He forced himself to calm down. “Senior Pei, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
[Sticking a talisman on me as soon as he sees me, is he a psycho!]
The sound of pants being pulled up came from behind, followed by the click of a belt. Zhou Zhou remained tense, his toes curled.
As Pei Yanlie bent down to put on his shoes, his gaze involuntarily fell on the eye-catching leopard-print flip-flops.
In the dim light, his fair instep was particularly striking. His toes were curled together, occasionally relaxing slightly, then tightening again, like cat claws, making him feel inexplicably adorable.
[What are you doing squatting behind my butt!]
[Do you want to eat farts?]
The corner of Pei Yanlie’s mouth twitched uncontrollably. He stood up, his dark eyes fixed on the boy who was half a head shorter than him, his voice cold and without a trace of warmth, “Profane language. Say one more word, and I’ll tear that mouth off your face.”
Zhou Zhou’s whole body shook. Enduring the fear in his heart, he turned around and glared at him. “What, are you going to cut it off? Or seal it with cement?”
Pei Yanlie’s pupils darkened slightly, and he sneered. “Not pretending anymore?”
“Pretending what? Sticking these weird things on me for no reason. Do you think I’m a ghost?” Zhou Zhou tore the talisman to shreds and threw it at his chest.
Pei Yanlie lowered his eyes, reached out to brush the bits of paper off his black shirt, and said coldly, “Dare you say you’re human?”
Zhou Zhou was so angry that his fur stood on end, his baseball cap almost exploding. “If I’m not human, am I a ghost?!”
“Mm,” his eyes fell on Zhou Zhou’s black mask, and he responded in a low voice.
It seemed the talisman had no effect on the evil spirit. He pulled out a string of Five Emperors Coins from his pocket and, ignoring Zhou Zhou’s protests, tied it to his wrist, saying imperiously, “Wear this for a week. Don’t take it off.”
Zhou Zhou’s face darkened. He had never been threatened like this in his life. Male lead or not, he was going all out!
He grabbed the Five Emperors Coin bracelet, intending to tear it off, but his hand was seized.
“Who do you think you are? Calling you Senior Pei is giving you face. What right do you have to order me around!”
[Ouch, his grip is really strong!]
Pei Yanlie loosened his grip slightly and said in a deep voice, “If you don’t want to be sent to the lab, be obedient.”
[Crap! He really knows!]
[What to do, what to do! I don’t want to be dissected!]
Pei Yanlie stared at him, a flash of ferocity in his eyes. Finally, he admitted it; it really was an evil spirit possessing him!
Forced by the male lead’s power, he walked out of the fitting room wearing the Five Emperors Coin bracelet.
Turning back, he looked up at the man with a cold expression and asked, “Just one week, right?”
Pei Yanlie came out with his clothes and responded coldly, then strode towards the outside of the fitting rooms, leaving behind a sentence, “I’ll check the results after a week.”
[Ha, results! Hooked on exorcism?]
[Whether I’m a ghost or not is none of your business, you busybody!]
Pei Yanlie stopped abruptly, turned back, and stared at him deeply, his tone flat, “Your existence is seriously affecting my life.”
Making him restless, his mind occasionally flashing with those moist phoenix eyes and those fair white feet.
[Oh, so I’ll leave?]
Pei Yanlie took a deep breath. This evil spirit was too talkative; he couldn’t let him disturb his mind.
He walked out without hesitation, leaving Zhou Zhou with a tall, heartless back.
“Waaah… so scary…”
A sobbing female voice startled Zhou Zhou. It was Su Wanxing. He almost forgot about her!
He quickly walked to the fitting room on the left, only to see Su Wanxing collapsed on the floor inside room seven, crying.
He quickly squatted down and asked, “What’s wrong?”
“Your math is terrible! Where’s my true love in room seven!”
“Uh…” Zhou Zhou was speechless.
“As soon as I pushed open the door, I saw a naked fat pig, and he even tried to stop me and ask for my phone number. I was so scared! Waaah…”
Su Wanxing’s little face was covered in tears, looking so pitiful.
Zhou Zhou felt a pang of sympathy and secretly cursed the male lead for being a pervert.
He didn’t want his wife but went off to exorcise ghosts!
