    Chapter 284: Exploding Combat Power

As night fell, the light deep within the dense forest completely dimmed, almost to the point where one couldn’t see their own hand in front of their face.

The ice blocking the tree hole entrance gradually melted, finally revealing the scene inside. Zhou Zhou was sprawled on top of Pei Yanlie, his chest rising and falling heavily, his eyes half-closed, his brow slightly furrowed, mumbling something.

Pei Yanlie raised a hand to brush aside his damp bangs, his palm slightly feverish. Before long, the moisture in the strands evaporated, restoring them to a clean and dry state.

    “Little Zhou, I love you.”

Pei Yanlie lowered his head, his chin gently resting on Zhou Zhou’s fluffy head, and whispered in a hoarse voice.

    “Pei Yanlie… you’re really ruthless.”

Zhou Zhou’s lips moved slightly, his voice carrying a distinct pant, and he unconsciously nuzzled against Pei Yanlie’s neck. The flush that had spread from his neck to his cheeks after the lovemaking slowly faded.

The scorching temperature inside the tree hole gradually decreased as time passed, and Zhou Zhou’s rapid breathing became long and even. Clearly, his body, repeatedly “pancaked,” couldn’t hold on any longer, and he fell into a deep sleep.

The danger in the darkened dense forest increased. Pei Yanlie used his superpower again at the entrance, creating a new ice wall.

The two spent their first night in the cave. When a sliver of light shone through the thin ice wall and onto Zhou Zhou, he raised his hand to cover his face and sat bolt upright from Pei Yanlie’s embrace.

Other than a slight numbness and a strange sensation down there, he felt almost no pain. He rotated his neck, slowly yawned, and turned to look at Pei Yanlie, who hadn’t slept all night. His face instantly darkened.

“Do you remember how many times I told you to stop last night?” Zhou Zhou raised the corner of his mouth, a spark of anger rising in his eyes.

Pei Yanlie gently rubbed his waist, his eyes deep and dark, and said seriously, “20 times ‘husband,’ 8 times ‘no,’ 6 times ‘stop,’ 3 times…”

Zhou Zhou clapped a hand over his mouth, yelling in exasperation, “Damn it! Did I tell you to remember those things?!”

“I remember every word you said.” Even with his mouth covered, Pei Yanlie’s throat still rumbled with a low, magnetic sound.

“You can selectively forget those meaningless words.” Zhou Zhou was about to get up when he finally realized what felt strange.

[Get the hell out of me!!!]

He bit his lip, his hands gripping Pei Yanlie’s solid shoulders, shaking him vigorously.

Pei Yanlie frowned slightly, one hand tightening around Zhou Zhou’s waist, and stood up, pinning him against the tree trunk. He warned in a hoarse voice, “Since you’re so energetic first thing in the morning, then as you wish.”

[Help!! I didn’t make a wish! Don’t conjure wishes out of thin air!]

Zhou Zhou was so angry that his pupils were quaking. He opened his mouth and bit Pei Yanlie’s shoulder.

[Pei Yanlie, it’s a shame you’re not an AV actor! Your combat power is exploding!]

His ears twitched, faintly picking up the sound of footsteps. His entire body tensed. “Someone’s coming!”

Besides Zhou Jin, he couldn’t think of anyone else in the dense forest.

The ice wall was transparent. With just one glance, they could see their extremely suggestive position at that moment.

No matter how unwilling Pei Yanlie was, he had to release Zhou Zhou, set him down, and pull up the pink blanket that was almost dragging on the ground, wrapping it tightly around his body, covering up all the marks of love.

Zhou Zhou moved his legs. Although there was a slight discomfort, it was tolerable. He placed a hand against Pei Yanlie’s battered chest and said softly, “Pei Yanlie, what are you going to use to cover up the marks on your body?”

[Anyone with a brain knows what you’ve been through.]

Pei Yanlie lowered his eyes, looking at his chest covered in scratches, his eyes filled with obscure light. “A certain little fox scratched me a few times.”

“Pervert! Who scratched you a few…”

As if realizing something, Zhou Zhou’s face instantly turned red, and he stopped speaking in time. He inwardly cursed that certain homophones were really perverted.

He was stared at by Pei Yanlie’s burning gaze, his cheeks feeling like they were about to catch fire. He simply walked to the entrance of the tree hole and kicked the ice wall as if to vent his anger.

After a “cracking” sound, the almost completely melted ice wall shattered and fell to the ground.

He was the first to walk out of the tree hole, making eye contact with Zhou Jin, who was walking towards them from afar.

    “Little Zhou!”

Zhou Jin’s eyes lit up. He strode over, his face tanned by the scorching sunlight without a single blemish, his clothes also completely intact, indicating that he hadn’t encountered any danger after they separated.

Zhou Zhou let out a sigh of relief, pretending to be nonchalant and calling out “Big Brother Zhou.” He started spouting nonsense, “We were chased here by wild bees yesterday. Pei Yanlie and I were both stung with a lot of bumps. Luckily, there was a tree hole here, so we escaped their pursuit.”

This place was less than a kilometer away from where the wild bees were active. Zhou Jin didn’t suspect anything. “If you had run a little further, you could have completely gotten rid of the wild bees. According to my observation, they can’t leave their hive too far.”

Zhou Zhou had a sudden realization. “We were stung all over for nothing. It’s both painful and itchy. Look at Pei Yanlie, his body is covered in scratches.”

Pei Yanlie bent down and walked out of the tree hole. The crisscrossing scratches covered his chest, making it unbearable to look at directly.

    Zhou Jin: …

He looked at the innocent-looking Zhou Zhou and then at the man with a blank expression on his face, and cursed wildly in his heart.

[Not bad, really good little brother, you even dare to fool me! Do you think I’m a three-year-old child or a sentimental old man who hasn’t experienced love yet?!]

[These scratches are too familiar, they’ve appeared on Gu Yuanci’s body many times. What “stung with a lot of bumps by wild bees,” if Pei Yanlie wasn’t here, I would definitely teach you a good lesson!]

Zhou Zhou’s eyelids twitched wildly. He listened to his secret accusations and complaints without revealing any flaws, and quickly changed the subject. “There are too many hidden dangers in this dense forest. We should move to another place as soon as possible.”

[Just Pei Yanlie, this wolf, is dangerous enough.]

He secretly vowed to hold Zhou Jin’s hand tightly, not letting him leave his side for even half a step, to prevent Pei Yanlie from going crazy again.

    Thus, the following scene appeared.

Zhou Zhou and Zhou Jin walked side by side, shoulder to shoulder, arm to arm, attracting Pei Yanlie’s murderous gaze.

“Little Zhou, there’s still a tube of nutrient solution here. Come over.” Pei Yanlie’s voice was very low, like a vicious wolf luring a little white rabbit, his gaze fixed on Zhou Zhou’s back.

[Nutrient solution?! Liar, the last tube of nutrient solution was used by you when you went crazy last night. Are you selectively forgetting, right?]

Just thinking about that suggestive scene made Zhou Zhou’s chest hurt. The good nutrient solution was all wasted on him, although in the end, Pei Yanlie forcibly fed it into his mouth.

    Mouth-to-mouth feeding.

He raised his foot and stomped down heavily, to express his dissatisfaction. The force was so great that he almost made a hole in the ground.

Pei Yanlie’s gaze lowered, saying meaningfully, “It seems that after evolving, Little Zhou’s physical strength has increased a lot, and he doesn’t even eat his favorite nutrient solution anymore.”

Zhou Zhou understood the deeper meaning contained in his words and glared at him fiercely.
