Chapter 281: Are you sure he’s not some refugee?

The man outside was none other than Zhou Jin.

Zhou Zhou hurriedly sat up, but Pei Yanlie promptly pressed him back down. The hand on Zhou Zhou’s waist felt like a ball of fire, making the skin it touched burn.

“Let’s go out first, my brother is outside.” Zhou Zhou frowned, his voice soft and unlike his usual self.

Pei Yanlie’s eyes darkened, possessiveness taking over. “He’s not your brother.”

Pei Yanlie listened to the incessant knocking. His forehead veins bulged. He originally thought that no one would be on this planet for a while, but it seemed he miscalculated.

“You can’t meet anyone looking like this.” He wrapped a pink blanket around Zhou Zhou’s upper body until it covered the glaring red marks.

Zhou Zhou’s face fell, and he emphasized again, “Pei Yanlie, let’s go out first.”

Seeing the other party suppressing his discomfort, he couldn’t bear it, and promised, “Later, when there’s no one around, you can do whatever you want to me.”

Pei Yanlie looked at him meaningfully and said in a deep voice, “Don’t regret it. I’ll remember this.”

[Damn it, he’s doing this on purpose!]

Zhou Zhou felt a jolt all over his body, his soul trembling. He tightly closed his mouth, and fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.

By the time the door opened, five minutes had passed.

Zhou Zhou’s rosy face met Zhou Jin’s dark face.

    Zhou Zhou: …

Wait, is this my big brother Zhou?

Are you sure he’s not some refugee?

Zhou Jin was only shocked for two seconds before he reached out and hugged Zhou Zhou, his voice excited, “Zhou Zhou, I didn’t expect to see you again.”

As soon as he finished speaking, a cold gaze fell on him. Zhou Jin raised his eyes to meet Pei Yanlie’s icy stare, and his heart skipped a beat. “General, what a coincidence.”

[A single escape pod actually squeezed in two big men! So, what were you and Zhou Zhou doing inside for so long?]

Zhou Jin’s thoughts entered Zhou Zhou’s ears, and his whole body stiffened. He awkwardly changed the subject, “Zhou Ge, did you call me before the apocalypse?”

He still wasn’t sure if the call he received that day was real or just a hallucination.

Zhou Jin’s mouth twitched, and he gave a wry smile, “There was the threat of R Particles in front, and an unfathomable cliff behind. No matter where I went, I would die. I thought I hadn’t had a chance to see you one last time, so I tried to contact you.”

His eyes inadvertently swept over the deep purple bite marks on Zhou Zhou’s collarbone, and his pupils constricted.

[Damn it! Shang… no, it’s Pei Yanlie! This guy is a dog!]

[Showing off his chest with all those scratch marks in broad daylight without even wearing clothes.]

Zhou Jin secretly complained, unaware that his thoughts had been leaked.

He looked at Zhou Zhou’s agreeing expression, a hint of doubt flashed in his eyes, “How did you guys get here? What’s the situation outside? Since I lost contact with you, my optical brain hasn’t been able to log into the Star Net. I thought I was doomed, but I didn’t expect to evolve. I guess I got my life back.”

“It’s a long story.” Zhou Zhou raised his eyes and looked around, his eyes suddenly lighting up.

The beach was full of soft sand, and white crystals were exposed where the seawater washed over. The seawater was light blue, much clearer and cleaner than the sea he had seen before.

“Let’s go to that coconut grove in front to block the sun. Don’t underestimate its toxicity. Just being exposed to it for an hour will definitely make your skin darker than mine.” Zhou Jin said, then sighed helplessly.

[Forcing to tan his white skin into black, I can’t bear to watch.]

Zhou Jin took the lead, his shirt tattered to the point of being 80% damaged, a terrible sight.

Zhou Zhou silently watched the large patch of black skin exposed on his back and subconsciously tightened the blanket.

Although he really wanted to get a little darker, but to get as dark as Zhou Jin…

    emm, never mind.

[Pei Yanlie, why is your face so dark all the time?]

Zhou Zhou reached out and touched the other man’s naturally drooping arm, the corners of his eyes raised as if with hooks. Even an unintentional expression was enough to make one’s heart itch.

Pei Yanlie looked at him meaningfully and said in a low voice, “Zhou Zhou isn’t being good. Are you asking knowing the answer?”

Zhou Zhou looked at his naked and undisguised fiery gaze, quickened his pace, and ran to Zhou Jin’s side, his whole body almost numb.

Soon, the three of them walked into the towering coconut grove and casually found a place to sit down.

“My evolved ability is related to space.” Zhou Jin’s expression was grave as he looked down at the complex runes that had appeared on the back of his hand. He continued, “The reason I appeared on this planet wasn’t my intention. It was caused by space.”

Zhou Zhou’s eyes showed obvious admiration and envy, “Space, it sounds very powerful.”

Zhou Jin shook his head and laughed at himself, “It’s convenient for escaping, but not very useful.”

Pei Yanlie glanced at him indifferently, his eyes calm, his voice emotionless, “Don’t underestimate yourself. Space ability is a rare ability. In the future, as your evolution level increases, you can instantly tear through space and transfer hundreds of people to other places.”

[Tsk tsk, you’re making a useless skill sound so high-end.]

Zhou Jin gave a forced smile, revealing two rows of teeth so white they were dazzling, “As expected of General Pei, you know so much.”

[The apocalypse just started, how do you know the use of space ability? Are you trying to fool me?]

Perhaps influenced by the world in the book, he habitually rejected Pei Yanlie, for the simple reason that the other party had stolen his cabbage.

Zhou Zhou kept a straight face, staring at Zhou Jin with a smile that wasn’t a smile, and for the first time, he found listening to other people’s thoughts quite fun.

Zhou Jin was puzzled, “What? Is there something on my face?”

“Ahem, besides the space ability, what other changes have occurred?” Zhou Zhou touched his nose, a hint of cunning flashed in his eyes.

“My physical strength has obviously increased. I can split open a hard coconut with one hand.” Zhou Zhou said, then got up, walked to a coconut tree, and kicked it lightly. The coconut tree shook violently, and the coconuts hanging high were shaken down.

The coconut sank deep into the sand, showing how tall the coconut tree was. He bent down to pick up the green coconut and chopped it down with a hand knife, and the coconut immediately split in half.

    “Drink it, it’s pretty sweet.”

He subconsciously raised his hand, wanting to pat Zhou Zhou’s head, but the man guarding beside him had too sharp a gaze, so he had to give up and secretly complained.

Hearing it, he didn’t know that Zhou Da Ge’s thoughts were so active. His appearance looked serious and proper, but the inside was the opposite.

    What a two-faced person.

Zhou Zhou took the coconut he handed over, raised his chin and took a sip, and found that the taste was indeed good. After drinking half of it, he stuffed it into Pei Yanlie’s hand.

Pei Yanlie didn’t refuse either, his thin lips covering the spot Zhou Zhou had just touched, but his eyes were fixed on Zhou Zhou’s lips, his Adam’s apple bobbing.

Zhou Jin narrowed his eyes slightly, noticing the ambiguous atmosphere surrounding them, and the brotherly instinct hidden deep inside began to act up.

    [Am I invisible?]

Hearing Zhou Jin’s thoughts, Zhou Zhou slowly exhaled a breath of hot air, his red cheeks as if they were burning with fire. He lowered his eyes and subconsciously licked his lips.

[Pei Yanlie, don’t look at me with that kind of gaze, it’s so erotic.]

Pei Yanlie turned his gaze to Zhou Jin and said in a light voice, “Next, you can try using your space ability to return to Main Star.”

That way, no one could disturb his and Zhou Zhou’s two-person world.

Zhou Jin’s mouth twitched slightly, “If I could control the direction, I wouldn’t be trapped here.”

Pei Yanlie turned his head to look at the distant dense forest and said in a deep voice, “It’s very simple, absorb Alien Crystals to improve your ability.”

“Alien Crystals?” Zhou Jin frowned, not knowing what it was.

Zhou Zhou explained, “Alien Crystals exist in any mutated creature. Pei Yanlie, there’s no R Particle presence here yet, will there be mutated creatures?”

“Just because there aren’t any now doesn’t mean there won’t be any later.” Pei Yanlie reached out and pulled his arm to help him stand up. “Let’s go, let’s find a safe place to settle down before dark.”
