    Chapter 260: It’s Over!

With all the roommates gathered, there was endless chatter and bragging.

Inside the bar’s booth, Qu Minghui held a beer in one hand and draped an arm over Zhou Zhou’s shoulder, sighing, “Zhou-ge… no, wait, I’m older than you now, you should call me ‘ge.’ Ever since you left without a word, our 606 dorm has become a completely uninhabited haunted house.”

Zhou Zhou leaned back against the sofa, the bangs on his forehead falling haphazardly over his eyebrows and eyes. His phoenix eyes were slightly closed, his complexion rosy, and the collar of his shirt was slightly open, revealing his fair collarbones, which resembled finely carved jade, flushed a tempting pink under the influence of alcohol.

His legs were crossed naturally, and he occasionally swayed them as a leisurely and lazy voice rang out, “What? Are you afraid I’ll turn into a wandering ghost and go harass you?”

Qu Minghui clinked his beer can against Zhou Zhou’s. “Not long after you left, a man calling himself Yuan Heng came to our door, saying we were from the Starry Sky era and that where we are living now is just a game world.”

Lin Sheng chimed in, “Anyone who heard such outrageous words would think he was a delusional mental patient. He told us to move out of the dorm and go live in a designated villa.”

Chen Qihang said expressionlessly, “Unfortunately, that villa was Qin Yang’s house.”

Zhou Zhou raised an eyebrow and chuckled softly, “Hiss, isn’t that just what you wanted?”

Chen Qihang’s mouth twitched, and he said coldly, “On the contrary, I refused at the time, and even suspected that Yuan Heng was an actor hired by Qin Yang.”

“Hey, weren’t you two inseparable when I was in the hospital?” Zhou Zhou took a sip of his wine, his lips glistening.

Qu Minghui chuckled, “Don’t tease Hanghang, he’s just being stubborn, he clearly cares about Qin Yang.”

    “Beep beep beep.”

The bracelet on Chen Qihang’s wrist lit up with a white light. He didn’t even glance at it, directly shutting off the video call from someone.

He reached out and picked up the light pink wine on the table, tentatively taking a sip. Finding the taste quite good, he “gulp gulp gulp” downed it in one go.

The bar’s music shifted from melodious and gentle to a fast-paced, explosive DJ set. Qu Minghui and Lin Sheng exchanged a look, then tacitly took each other’s hands and stood up. “You two can’t just sit here. It’s rare to come out, don’t even think about going home until the wee hours of the morning!”

Chen Qihang burped, feeling a severe heat in his neck. He slowly unbuttoned his collar, revealing a patch of red skin, then put down his glass and stood up, calmly walking towards the crowd.

“Is Hanghang drunk or not?” Qu Minghui scratched the back of his head, looking at Zhou Zhou in confusion.

Zhou Zhou coughed lightly, a smile curving his lips as he said, “He wouldn’t be a one-cup wonder, would he?”

“Heh, who was it who clung to someone’s arms and refused to let go after just one sip of wine?” Chen Qihang turned back to look at him, his eyes challenging.

The old wound reopened, Zhou Zhou glared at him and retorted, “I want to see who you’ll be clinging to later and refusing to let go.”

He also got up, slowly taking off his jacket. His slender waist was wrapped in a thin shirt. He rotated the muscles in his neck, his gaze inadvertently meeting a familiar figure. His eyes instantly darkened.

The hulking guy who had hit on him at the door hadn’t left yet, and was now sitting at the bar, his lustful gaze fixed on him.

“Damn, what’s he up to!” Zhou Zhou averted his eyes, muttering to himself.

The bar was a mixed bag, with all sorts of sounds intermingling, the lively and exciting atmosphere stimulating the inner desires of some people. The bulky guy’s eyes followed Zhou Zhou’s movements, fixing on his shapely hips, his tongue pressing heavily against the inside of his cheek, feeling a heat unbearable throughout his body.

Originally, he had been preparing to leave the bar, but after getting into the hovercar, the memory of Zhou Zhou’s smug look when he was fanning the flames involuntarily came to mind, and his breathing immediately became disordered.

This fire had been burning for a full half hour, and showed no signs of dying down. The bulky guy had no choice but to return to the bar, thinking of randomly finding a good-looking boy to take to a hotel room. Coincidentally, Zhou Zhou’s figure fell into his sight at this moment.

He sat at the bar, staring unblinkingly at Zhou Zhou’s every move, like a perverted stalker, until he was discovered by Zhou Zhou, at which point his inner desires reached their peak, almost unbearable.

The bulky guy suddenly stood up, quietly approaching the tempting body on the dance floor.

The moment he stood up, Zhou Zhou knew he was making his move. The other party had a strong sense of purpose, heading straight in his direction.

The bulky guy’s tall and strong body stood out from the crowd. Zhou Zhou knew he was no match for him, and quickly hunched over, moving towards Qu Minghui and Lin Sheng.

Before he could take two steps, someone grabbed his wrist, and even put a greasy hand on his waist. “Hey, handsome, I’ve been watching you for a long time. Do you have an owner?”

Zhou Zhou’s face darkened. He turned his head to look at the audacious man—no, he shouldn’t be called a man.

A little kid whose hair hasn’t even grown in yet, with a tender face, and four or five earrings on just one ear, wearing clothes that were more trendy than trendy, almost revealing his entire chest.

“How old are you this year, little bro?” Zhou Zhou scoffed. Just as he was about to slap him away, he saw the bulky guy approaching in his peripheral vision. His pupils instantly shrank. He grabbed the little boy’s hand and pulled him to the side.

The little boy’s eyes flickered. He simply leaned his head into Zhou Zhou’s shoulder and chuckled. “Don’t underestimate me just because I’m small. I’m an adult.”

Zhou Zhou’s entire body stiffened, covered in goosebumps. He reached out and circled the little boy’s waist, quickly scanning the bulky guy. The other party was standing still, looking at him with a smile that wasn’t a smile, his lips moving as if saying something.

“This pervert is so annoying!” Zhou Zhou was so angry that his eyes were spitting fire, and his hand unconsciously tightened, pinching the little boy’s waist hard.

“You’re so rough, I like it.” The little boy stuck out his tongue, revealing the shiny silver tongue stud. Zhou Zhou was momentarily blinded. He looked down at the little boy, who only reached his chin, and realized how intimate their pose was. Their chests were almost touching.

“Whoa, what are you doing!” Zhou Zhou quickly let go, wanting to push him away, but the little boy wrapped around his waist like an octopus, his mouth chattering incessantly. “You’re so slim, do you have abs?”

As soon as he said that, he boldly lifted the hem of Zhou Zhou’s shirt, quickly glancing at it under the spotlight. “Huh… you have so many hickeys on your stomach. Which little wildcat left those marks?”

With a “bang,” a loud noise drowned out the music, attracting everyone’s attention.

The little boy’s expression froze for a moment. He turned his head to look at the source of the sound, but the people around him blocked his view. Even if he stood on tiptoe, he couldn’t see what had happened over there.

A smoking hovercar was parked at the bar’s entrance. Pei Yanlie, his military uniform slightly disheveled, stepped out of the car. He walked into the bar in his military boots, his pupils dark and deep, his thin lips tightly pursed, his expression terrifying.

Seeing him walking heavily towards the dance floor, the crowd scattered and made way, feeling a chill down their backs.

The music stopped abruptly. When Zhou Zhou saw Pei Yanlie, his mind exploded. He subconsciously turned around to run.

The little boy next to him was short and didn’t notice the strangeness of the surroundings. He wrapped his arms around Zhou Zhou’s lower back and asked with a smile, “Where are you running to, are you wildcat caught you cheating?”

Zhou Zhou was sweating profusely, turning his head to shout, “To hell with your wildcat, it’s a vicious tiger! Let go of me!”

“Hahaha, you’re so funny, let me see where this tiger is that scared you like this.” The little boy suddenly jumped up, wrapping his legs around Zhou Zhou’s waist. Seeing the crowd looking at his back with terrified expressions, he couldn’t help but look back.

Pei Yanlie’s expression was so gloomy that it seemed about to drip blood, emitting a strong murderous aura. His extremely cold gaze was like a sharp knife, ruthlessly stabbing into him.

    Little boy: …

    Oh crap, it’s over!
