Chapter 230: Not Ashamed At All

Qin Yang’s eyes darkened as his gaze swept across the girl’s face.

Over the past week, this girl had been circling around Chen Qihang multiple times. Chen Qihang showed not the slightest bit of impatience, a hint of a smile even gracing his face. Qin Yang only found it irritating.

“What an adorable pet robot! Did Brother Hang design it?” The girl had waist-length, straight black hair, and a pair of round, dark eyes like shiny black grapes, sparkling with excited light.

“I love it so much! Can you give it to me?” The girl fondled the palm-sized robot, stroking its wings and gently tugging at the half-drooping ears on top of its head, clearly unable to put it down.

Chen Qihang was just about to answer when, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Qin Yang pouting, looking as if he owed him billions of Starry Sky credits, walking towards them. The slightly relaxed mood he had been in immediately turned gloomy again.

“Sorry, but this is the only Little Rabbit Robot in the entire Starry Sky,” Qin Yang said as he reached out and took the robot from her hand the moment he reached her, his tone revealing obvious displeasure.

The expression on the girl’s face instantly froze. She turned her head to look at Qin Yang, who was a head taller than her, and awkwardly uttered an “Um.”

Qin Yang frowned tightly, stuffed the robot into Chen Qihang’s pocket, and said in a low voice, “This is something I gave you, you can’t give it away to someone else.”

Although his voice was very low, the girl standing next to them heard it clearly. Her cheeks flushed red, and her gaze flickered back and forth between Qin Yang and Chen Qihang.

“Cough cough, I didn’t say I was giving it away.” Chen Qihang took a step back, distancing himself from Qin Yang, and turned his head to say to the girl, “Youyou, I’ll design a little pet for you next time.”

“Okay, I’ll wait.” The girl’s eyes curved into crescents as she smiled, but the look in Qin Yang’s eyes as he looked at her was full of hostility, giving her a strange feeling.

“Brother Hang, I’ll go back to the classroom first.” In the end, the girl couldn’t stand Qin Yang’s overwhelming presence and quickly left, finding an excuse.

Qin Yang glared at her retreating back, and asked seemingly unintentionally, “Who is she?”

Chen Qihang didn’t hide anything and said directly, “My sister.”

“Aren’t you an only child? Where did a sister come from? Biological? Are you related by blood?” Qin Yang asked three questions in a row.

“Are you checking my household registration? What, are you interested in her?” Chen Qihang sneered, raised his foot, and walked into the school gate, ignoring the boy who was closely following behind him.

Ever since he saw Qin Yang’s face, he had been inexplicably depressed. It was better to avert his eyes to keep from affecting his mood.

The gaze on his back didn’t disappear until he entered the office building.

Before Chen Qihang walked into the elevator, he scanned the direction of the gate out of the corner of his eye. It was empty, Qin Yang had already left.

    “Huu…”

Chen Qihang slowly relaxed his straight back. His eyebrows were constantly furrowed, in a state of contemplation.

Some teachers in the office greeted him, but he didn’t seem to hear them, lowering his eyes slightly as he walked to his desk and sat down.

“The difference between people is reflected here.”

Inside the office, several teachers began to whisper to each other.

    “What do you mean?”

“Look at Professor Chen. Every time you see him, he’s in this pensive state. What do you think he’s thinking about?”

    “Hmm… thinking about his girlfriend?”

“Tsk, be serious. Professor Chen is a man of few words, who always has a cold face. Unless the state assigns him a partner, don’t expect him to open up and fall in love.”

“No matter how cold his personality is, he’s still a person. People have seven emotions and six desires. Falling in love is too normal, right?”

“So, that’s the reason why you haven’t been rated as the best male professor for several years!”

“Old Li, stop beating around the bush and tell us what you’re trying to say!”

Teacher Li raised his head and glanced at Chen Qihang, seeing that he was propping his chin with one hand, staring blankly at the computer screen, clearly thinking about something.

“Look, he’s 100% thinking about the difficult problem raised at the seminar last night!”

    “…”

    “I feel like he’s thinking about a woman…”

Chen Qihang twitched his ears and cast a dark gaze at the two teachers who were gossiping together.

Obviously, their whispers were too loud, and Chen Qihang heard them.

“Professor Chen, do you have an answer to the difficult problem raised by Old Feng last night?” Teacher Li chuckled awkwardly, “Haha, that question is indeed quite difficult. I and the other teachers thought about it all night, but we couldn’t figure it out.”

“Hmm, it’s not difficult. I only thought about it for a dozen minutes last night. Do you want the solution process? I can show it to you,” Chen Qihang said, taking out his notebook and putting it on the table.

    Teacher Li: …

The other teachers were silent. Chen Qihang didn’t urge them. He opened his computer and started preparing for class.

There was still half an hour before class started. He took out the Little Rabbit Robot from his pocket and started playing with it.

The switch was hidden in the tail. Chen Qihang hesitated for two seconds, but couldn’t resist turning it on.

“Cheep cheep, my master, you finally remembered Qinqin!” A soft, childish voice came from the robot’s opening and closing little mouth.

The mini robot flapped its shimmering silver wings, flying around Chen Qihang’s hand. Before it was turned on, its eyes were closed. Now, it opened its large, emerald-green eyes. Just one look, and Chen Qihang couldn’t help but think of Qin Yang’s beautiful eyes.

“Master, please touch Qinqin’s ears to activate intelligent voice,” the robot flew to Chen Qihang’s shoulder, occasionally fluttering its wings, looking very cute.

Chen Qihang’s eyelids twitched a few times, and he muttered in a low voice, “Qinqin? Not ashamed at all.”

He raised his hand and touched the robot’s half-drooping white-pink ears. It comfortably made a “gurulu” sound, and its silver-white skin flushed with a rosy color.

“Oh my god, this pet robot is so realistic,” an astonished female voice echoed through the office.

In an instant, the teachers in the office turned their attention to Chen Qihang.

The chattering discussion grew louder and louder. Chen Qihang rubbed his forehead in a headache, put the robot back in his pocket, and got up to leave the office.

He walked along the corridor towards the bathroom, one hand in his pocket, stroking the robot’s soft ears.

“Cheep cheep, master, Qinqin is so comfortable,” the robot’s head rubbed against Chen Qihang’s fingers, conveying a sense of coquetry.

Chen Qihang paused slightly, then without hesitation, closed the door. He quickened his pace and walked into the bathroom, took off his glasses and put them on the sink, turned on the faucet, and bent over to wash his face.

Because of the bending motion, his white shirt rode up, revealing the skin of his lower back, fair and delicate, inexplicably alluring.

Suddenly, a hurried and chaotic sound of footsteps rapidly approached. Chen Qihang tensed up, instinctively straightened his body, and his blurred vision swayed. Before he could react, his waist was grabbed by someone’s arm and forcefully pulled towards a stall.

With a “bang,” the stall door was slammed shut. Chen Qihang’s heart was almost jumping out of his throat. Before he could react, his lips were sealed, and a strange yet vaguely familiar breath filled his mouth.

His waist and both arms were tightly restrained by the other person, and he was forced to tilt his head back to endure the passionate kiss from the male.

The difference in build and height meant that he couldn’t break free. It wasn’t until the hem of his shirt was pulled up to his chest that Chen Qihang suddenly woke up, struggling violently and glaring at the handsome face pressed close to his own.
