TLCBITAR Chapter 229
by VolareChapter 229: No Respect for Elders
The elevator traveled from the twenty-sixth floor to the ground floor in mere seconds, but Chen Qihang felt like it had been a century. As soon as the elevator doors opened, he stepped out, not even glancing at Qin Yang.
Qin Yang narrowed his eyes slightly and strode after him, shamelessly sidling up and asking, “Professor Chen, can I hitch a ride?”
Chen Qihang turned his head to give him a brief look, then said in a flat tone, “I refuse.”
He didn’t ask why, nor was he interested in knowing.
“Ah, so I really was too annoying before,” Qin Yang sighed softly, a look of wounded bitterness on his face.
Chen Qihang remained noncommittal. Although his heart was beating erratically, his face remained cold and indifferent, as if nothing could move him in the slightest.
He walked out of Building C and headed towards where his hovercar was parked.
Despite being rejected, Qin Yang didn’t give up, staying half a step behind him and muttering something under his breath, which Chen Qihang instinctively felt was not good.
“Professor Chen, please be kind. As a reward, I’ll give you a gift,” Qin Yang said, his eyes lowered as he looked at Chen Qihang’s profile with a slightly aggrieved expression.
“No need,” Chen Qihang refused coldly.
Suddenly, a hand with long, slender fingers blocked his path, forcing Chen Qihang to stop. His eyes widened slightly as he stared blankly at the silver-white object in Qin Yang’s hand.
“Pretty, isn’t it? This is a ‘palm pet’ I designed when I was eight,” Qin Yang said with a smile, seeing the light in Chen Qihang’s eyes. He naturally took Chen Qihang’s hand and placed the miniature robot into his palm.
The robot looked smooth and hard on the outside, but it felt cool to the touch, covered in a soft outer layer. A pair of silver-white, glittering wings fluttered gently. Its appearance resembled a rabbit, but on closer inspection, it also looked like a fox.
Chen Qihang’s eyes were now only on the robot, completely ignoring Qin Yang. He didn’t react at all to Qin Yang’s overly familiar gesture.
Reluctant to let go, Qin Yang’s fingertip brushed across his palm as he lowered his head to observe Chen Qihang’s features. His gaze gradually moved down, landing on his slightly pursed lips.
The scene from his dream appeared in his mind. He even clearly remembered how soft the other’s lips were, how they had turned a rosy red after just a few kisses.
“Hang Hang,” he called out that name again, as if possessed.
Chen Qihang snapped out of his daze and realized that Qin Yang was still holding his hand. His ears flushed, and he yanked his hand back, shoving it into his pocket and clenching it into a fist.
“No respect for elders,” Chen Qihang muttered, quickly walking towards the hovercar, opening the door and getting into the driver’s seat.
Qin Yang shrugged, striding around to the other side, opening the door, and leaning half his body inside, a smile on his face. “Professor Chen, since you accepted my gift, that means you agree to let me ride in your car, right?”
Before Chen Qihang could react, he plopped down into the seat and closed the door.
He really deserved a beating!
Chen Qihang glanced down at the miniature robot in his hand, his lips twitching slightly. After a few seconds of thought, he nodded.
Anyway, they were both going to the university. Giving Qin Yang a ride wouldn’t cost him anything, and he got an interesting robot out of it. Why not?
The hovercar started quickly, and within a few minutes, they had traveled half the distance.
Qin Yang had been propping up his chin, staring straight at him, his eyes filled with indecipherable emotions that made Chen Qihang feel uneasy.
Chen Qihang kept his head lowered, the hair on his forehead falling down to obscure his eyes. He pursed his lips, pretending to examine the robot in his hand to alleviate his tension and unease.
“Professor Chen, you have an eyelash on your face,” Qin Yang suddenly said, leaning closer to him, his voice low, creating an atmosphere of ambiguity.
Chen Qihang raised his hand and rubbed his face haphazardly, unconsciously moving further away.
Qin Yang was less than ten centimeters away from him, close enough that he could smell his shampoo, which was refreshing and pleasant.
“It’s on your lower eyelid. Let me get it for you,” Qin Yang said, gently brushing his finger across the skin below his right eye.
Chen Qihang instinctively half-closed his eyes, his heart pounding wildly. A slight itch ran across his cheek, even a tingling sensation.
Qin Yang’s fingertips were hot, and the skin he touched seemed to burn as well, almost peeling.
He tilted his head to the left, trying to avoid Qin Yang’s hand, but the next moment, Qin Yang’s palm covered his left ear, stopping him from dodging.
“Don’t move, you’ll poke your eye and it’ll hurt,” Qin Yang’s voice sounded close to his ear, bringing a burning breath.
Chen Qihang’s whole body stiffened, his breath caught in his throat. He couldn’t quite understand his reaction. He hadn’t felt this strongly when he’d encountered Qin Yang before.
“Professor Chen, don’t you ever get any sun? Your skin is so pale,” Qin Yang’s fingers were still on his face, his breathing slightly rapid.
“Is it gone?” Chen Qihang frowned, wanting to slap his hand away, but thinking that the other was just trying to help, he restrained himself.
“It’s stuck too tight, let me blow it off for you,” Qin Yang said, swallowing lightly, all sorts of thoughts flashing through his mind.
——He’s right in front of me, less than ten centimeters away.
——His face is red, is it because he’s shy?
——His lips are pursed even tighter, I really want to kiss them until they’re red and swollen.
——His earlobes are also red, I want to nibble and lick them…
Damn it! The prey is right in front of him, but he can only look and not touch. How frustrating!
Qin Yang closed his eyes, a fire of desire smoldering in his chest, rushing straight to his abdomen.
Fortunately, he was wearing loose pants today, but if you looked closely, you could still see the change in his body.
“No need,” Chen Qihang said, his body almost pressed against the hovercar door, avoiding Qin Yang’s intense gaze. His hand was about to squeeze the robot out of shape.
Qin Yang withdrew his hand, leaning back lazily in his seat. After taking a deep look at the person next to him, he finally shifted his gaze to the window.
Qin Yang tugged at his collar. “It’s a little hot, can we open the window?”
Chen Qihang gradually relaxed his body and gave a muffled “Mmm.”
The window opened, and a cool breeze ruffled Qin Yang’s hair, but it couldn’t blow away the heat in his body.
The lustful desires were rolling over him like he had taken aphrodisiacs, making him uncomfortable all over. His legs were always tense, afraid to move at all.
He knew he had poor self-control, but he didn’t expect it to be this bad. With the man he liked sitting next to him, the scent coming from him was so addictive and captivating that he wanted to kiss his lips, bully him, break the cold look on his face, and make him cry…
His thoughts were like wild horses running rampant. Qin Yang endured the discomfort, constantly thinking about slapping himself.
He often looked at Chen Qihang out of the corner of his eye, and just as he was about to explode, he struggled to look away and silently recited the Cleansing Heart Mantra in his mind.
It wasn’t until he saw the university’s iconic building that Qin Yang breathed a sigh of relief, a bitter smile on his lips.
He watched Chen Qihang’s back as he opened the door and got out of the car, his voice hoarse as he said, “Bringing it on myself.”
Then he looked down and shook his head, muttering to himself, “Sorry, buddy.”
Qin Yang opened the door and stepped out of the hovercar, his long legs striding out. He raised his eyes and surveyed his surroundings, seeing students walking slowly towards the school gate in twos and threes.
And Chen Qihang was stopped by a somewhat familiar girl, who was holding the miniature robot that he had given to Chen Qihang in her hands, playing with it with a smile on her face.
“What the fuck!” he cursed under his breath, his face dark as he strode over aggressively.
