Chapter 220: You’re Secretly Going on Blind Dates Behind My Back?

After Zhou Zhou scrolled through the news for a while, he started fishing with his chin propped up, his heavy eyelids repeatedly closing and opening. Finally, unable to withstand the overwhelming drowsiness, he collapsed on the table and drifted off to dreamland.

Ge Ziyun heard a “thump” and looked up at the opposite side, her face instantly darkening.

    “Cough, cough, cough…”

She coughed and patted the table, but Zhou Zhou was sleeping soundly. Plus, he’d been tossed around by Pei Yanlie at noon, so unless Ge Ziyun went right up to his ear and banged a gong, he wouldn’t wake up.

Ge Ziyun resisted the urge to throw the documents at him and opened the camera on her optical brain, taking two short videos of Zhou Zhou.

Openly slacking off during work hours. I’ll see if the General will disregard the rules of the Federal Army to protect you.

Time ticked by, and Zhou Zhou didn’t lift his head until he had slept for three hours. His eyes were blurry as he looked out the window, the sky a little dark. “Damn, did I sleep until quitting time!”

His spirits lifted, and he quickly sat up. Suddenly, the back of his neck was gently pinched. Zhou Zhou shrank his neck and turned his head to the left.

He met Pei Yanlie’s affectionate gaze. Those deep, dark eyes had been watching him for who knows how long.

“Why didn’t you say anything while you were keeping me company here?” Zhou Zhou pressed down on his wildly beating heart and patted his chest.

“Mm, you were sleeping too soundly. I originally planned to carry you away, but there were too many passersby outside. It would have woken you up.” Pei Yanlie’s gaze fell on the crystal clear, unidentified liquid at the corner of Zhou Zhou’s mouth, and his eyes darkened. He leaned in and kissed Zhou Zhou’s moist lips, the movement gentle yet with a teasing undertone.

“Such a rogue-like move, I want to cut off your tongue.” Zhou Zhou moved his head back, but Pei Yanlie simply reached out and held the back of his head, not letting him leave. The gentle offensive instantly became intense.

The ambiguous kissing sounds made people’s faces flush red. Zhou Zhou caught a glimpse of a dark shadow flashing past the door and frowned. A slight sting suddenly came from the tip of his tongue.

“What are you looking at? Focus when you’re kissing.” Pei Yanlie seemed dissatisfied with his distraction and bit his tongue, then deepened the kiss.

[Someone is peeking at the door, let go first.]

Zhou Zhou reached into his clothes and unceremoniously pinched his waist hard. However, Pei Yanlie’s waist and abdomen were very tense, and he didn’t feel any pain at all.

“You mind?” Pei Yanlie pulled back slightly, his breathing heavy, his voice low and magnetic.

    “No… um…”

Zhou Zhou only answered one word before being kissed again.

[Why have you been so fond of kissing me these last few days? Did you mutate?]

“I haven’t been able to touch you for several days in a row, now I’m kissing you to my heart’s content.” Pei Yanlie finally let him go, wrapping his arms tightly around his waist and pulling him up. “I’m taking you out for a big meal.”

“Hoo… aren’t we eating at home?” Zhou Zhou’s legs were a little weak, so he simply put all his weight on Pei Yanlie.

Pei Yanlie tightened his arms, wishing he could pick him up. “I’ve already booked a restaurant.”

The two of them walked out of the door together, and the figure that had been peeking just now had disappeared without a trace.

“Is it okay for you to be so openly in love with me? Won’t it have any impact on you?” Zhou Zhou looked at the two of them snuggling together in the reflective elevator and stretched out two fingers to draw circles on the other’s chest.

“What others think is irrelevant to me.” Pei Yanlie’s Adam’s apple bobbed slightly. The heat that had just dissipated surged back, and he pursed his lips tightly, his voice hoarse and dangerous. “Don’t play with fire.”

Zhou Zhou raised an eyebrow and chuckled, lowering his eyes to sweep over Pei Yanlie’s lower body. “Tsk, your self-control is really bad.”

The elevator doors opened, and Zhou Zhou casually slapped away the hand that was gradually moving downwards. His phoenix eyes curved up, containing a unique charm, alluring to the extreme.

Pei Yanlie took two steps to his side, held his hand, and gently rubbed his palm with his thumb. “In front of you, my self-control is almost zero.”

“Am I that charming?” Zhou Zhou raised his hand to smooth his dark, soft hair, raising the corners of his mouth to reveal two tiger teeth.

“From the first moment I saw you, I was fascinated by you.” Pei Yanlie whispered hoarsely before the elevator doors opened, “Little fox spirit.”

Zhou Zhou turned his head to glare at him.

[One or two people are saying I’m a fox spirit, asking for a beating!]

“It’s praising you for being good-looking.” Pei Yanlie touched his almost completely red earlobe, resisting the urge to bite it, and quickly led him towards the hovercar parking area.

By the time they got to the restaurant, the earlobe on Zhou Zhou’s right side had been almost completely reddened from his kisses. He covered his ear with one hand, the resentment in his eyes seeming to solidify into substance.

The restaurant was located in the most high-end area of the Main Star’s central city, its decoration luxurious and grand. Zhou Zhou had originally thought that Pei Yanlie would book the entire place like a Pei domineering CEO, but he didn’t. Zhou Zhou didn’t ask much, as whether there were people or not didn’t really affect him.

There weren’t many customers inside. The people who came here to eat were either rich or noble, dressed exquisitely and beautifully.

When his gaze swept to one spot, a trace of surprise flashed in his eyes.

Chen Qihang was sitting not far away, facing his direction, but his gaze was always on the woman opposite him, who was dressed properly and elegantly.

A bouquet of delicate, vibrant red roses was placed in the center of the table, indicating that the relationship between the two of them was not ordinary.

“You know them?” Pei Yanlie saw Zhou Zhou staring intently at the woman not far away, and domineeringly wrapped his arm around his shoulders, leading him towards a window seat with the best view.

The restaurant employee smiled and greeted them. “It’s a pleasure to serve the General. Our boss learned that the General had reserved a table and specially instructed us to provide good service. The following couples’ set menu is provided to you free of charge by our boss. We wish you a pleasant evening.”

Zhou Zhou saw that the employee was always smiling, with no other expression on his face, and couldn’t help but ask curiously, “Are you a robot?”

The employee continued to answer with a smile, “Your eyesight is very good. I am a fifth-generation catering robot from JN Company.”

Zhou Zhou reached out to touch his hand, wanting to feel the difference between a robot’s skin and a real person’s.

Pei Yanlie frowned, displeased. He grabbed his hand and warned him in his ear, “Even if he’s a robot, you can’t flirt with him in front of me.”

“Pei Yanlie, you’re really something, even jealous of a robot?” Zhou Zhou leaned back against Pei Yanlie’s shoulder, his eyes looking in Chen Qihang’s direction.

This look was not good. The gentle woman directly grabbed Chen Qihang’s hand, looking very excited. He had no idea what she was saying.

Zhou Zhou perked up his ears to eavesdrop and only heard a few scattered words, “Like, register, boy.”

Upon hearing these words, Zhou Zhou couldn’t help but overthink. Could it be that the woman was pregnant with Chen Qihang’s child and was using this to demand that Chen Qihang register to marry her?

The more he thought about it, the more horrified he became. He simply turned his head to stare at them in front of Pei Yanlie.

Two tables behind Chen Qihang, a man wearing a baseball cap and a mask caught his attention.

    Could it be Qin Yang?

That person was indeed Qin Yang. After school, Qin Yang was influenced by the image in his dream and followed Chen Qihang as if possessed.

Until he saw him on a blind date with a woman, an unknown fire immediately burned out of control. He almost overturned the table, but his good upbringing made him hold back.

He decided to wait and see if Chen Qihang liked this type of woman.

During this time, the woman was mostly asking questions, and Chen Qihang’s voice was cold, only occasionally answering a word or two.

Qin Yang’s anger inexplicably dissipated a little. With Chen Qihang’s attitude, that woman should know better than to retreat, right?

However, she didn’t mind Chen Qihang’s coldness at all. On the contrary, she praised him lavishly, “Brother Chen, I’m your loyal fan. I was originally very resistant to blind dates, but since hearing that my blind date partner was you, do you know how happy I’ve been? I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep for three consecutive nights, just waiting to meet you.”

She couldn’t help but grab Chen Qihang’s hand, her eyes shining with admiration.

Suddenly, a loud “bang” came from behind Chen Qihang. Just as he was about to turn around, he was pulled by the arm by a huge force. The woman’s hand was ruthlessly pulled away, and he was also pulled up by the person behind him.

Anyone who was treated like this would definitely be angry. Chen Qihang looked up at the pair of emerald green eyes filled with anger and jealousy. He was dazed for a moment, and the anger in his heart suddenly disappeared.

“Hanghang, you’re secretly going on blind dates behind my back?” Qin Yang gritted his teeth and squeezed out a sentence.
