TLCBITAR Chapter 202
by VolareChapter 202: I’ve Taken a Liking to You
The hospital corridor was eerily quiet. Song Shaolin and his companions stopped abruptly upon seeing Pei Yanlie’s figure, staring in stunned disbelief as the iron-blooded General held his experimental subject in his arms.
What was going on? Did these two know each other?
Pei Yanlie lowered his gaze, carefully observing the young man in his arms, whose eyes were half-closed. He seemed drowsy, his hand limp and weak against Pei Yanlie’s chest, attempting to tug at his military uniform but lacking the strength.
Clearly, something was wrong with his body, and the culprit was right in front of him.
Pei Yanlie pressed his lips into a thin line, his cold, sharp jawline taut. He raised his dark, icy eyes, emanating an intense low-pressure aura.
“You used an anesthetic needle on him,” he stated flatly.
Song Shaolin trembled, sensing the dangerous undertones. He unconsciously took a step back, desperately suppressing the urge to flee, and replied in a low voice, “He’s my experimental subject. Due to his lack of cooperation, we had to resort to such coercive measures.”
“Your experimental subject?”
The deep, raspy voice carried a chilling warning.
Pei Yanlie tightened his hold on the person in his arms, glancing down at him again. He happened to meet the young man’s eyes, filled with grievance and helplessness, and his inner turmoil reached its peak. He took a deep breath and ruthlessly ordered his subordinates, “Take these three back to the detention center. I’ll personally interrogate them later.”
“Yes, General!”
The federal soldiers with pistols on their waists responded swiftly.
After speaking, Pei Yanlie cast a cold glance at the stiff-bodied Song Shaolin, then turned his gaze to Director Yao behind Song Shaolin. With just one look, Director Yao understood his meaning and quickly stepped forward, “The anesthetic effect isn’t strong; he’ll regain his strength in half an hour.”
“Mm,” Pei Yanlie responded coolly, carrying the young man into the elevator. Director Yao wanted to follow, but caught sight of Pei Yanlie’s indifferent, piercing gaze and abruptly stopped, silently swallowing his saliva.
As the elevator doors closed, Zhou Zhou, who had been tilting his head back, squinted slightly, observing the tight, sharp lines of the jaw above him.
Because his vision was still blurry, he couldn’t make out the person’s face clearly. Only when his eyes began to ache did he blink and obediently lean against the other’s neck, instinctively taking a sniff.
The familiar scent was pleasant and reassuring.
Unconsciously, he fell asleep, his warm breath brushing against Pei Yanlie’s neck.
Pei Yanlie’s breathing hitched, his heart pounding wildly, faster than ever before. Even when facing ruthless Star Robbers, he had always maintained a cold, calm demeanor.
But this young man evoked a different feeling.
It was unfamiliar, yet he found it intoxicating.
He had always been a rational and unemotional person. He had announced his aversion to marriage to everyone because he was determined to remain single for life.
Before meeting this person, he thought he didn’t need unnecessary emotions; they would only be a burden.
However, the feel of the person in his arms was so soft, whether he was being rebellious or looking aggrieved and pitiful, he was able to touch his heart.
The elevator doors opened on the first floor. He strode out of the hospital, his eyes fixed straight ahead, ignoring the strange looks from others.
The lobby of the Federal Hospital fell silent until Pei Yanlie’s figure disappeared from sight, then the crowd came back to their senses.
“Ah, that’s General Pei!” A sharp voice broke the silence.
“He’s holding a man in his arms!”
“Who is that man?”
“I’ve never seen the General so intimate with anyone before!”
“Although I really don’t want to speculate, the expression and gaze on the General’s face when he was holding that young man were so adoring!”
“Titanium alloy dog eyes? I think the General always has a cold face. How could a man like him, an immortal, possibly like the same sex?”
…
Inside the hovering car, only Pei Yanlie and Zhou Zhou were present. The private space unleashed the desires that Pei Yanlie had hidden deep within his heart.
He stared intently at the young man sleeping sweetly in his arms, his gaze lingering on his slightly parted lips.
“Why did I bring you out?” Pei Yanlie murmured hoarsely, his throat incredibly dry.
He raised his slender hand and unhesitatingly stroked those soft, warm lips, sometimes with more pressure, sometimes lightly, until a strand of transparent saliva escaped from the corner of his mouth. He then wiped it away with a calloused fingertip.
He stared intently at his fingertip, and the string in his mind called reason suddenly snapped.
His fingers moved down again to touch Zhou Zhou’s eyebrows and eyes. The other’s long, thick eyelashes brushed against his fingers like small brushes, bringing a numb, tingling sensation.
The heat within his body rapidly climbed. Until it became unbearable, beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. Pei Yanlie finally tugged at his collar, his prominent Adam’s apple bobbing several times as he breathed heavily and rapidly. He followed his inner thoughts, lowered his head, and kissed Zhou Zhou’s lips.
Indeed, they were very soft.
He seemed to instinctively part the lips with his tongue, gently intertwining, the depths of his eyes seemed to hide a giant beast, ready to break free from its cage and devour the person before him.
Zhou Zhou only felt his breathing gradually become difficult, until his chest felt suffocated, and then he suddenly opened his eyes. “Mmm…”
[Fuck! What’s going on?]
[General Pei is going crazy?! Why is he kissing me?]
Zhou Zhou struggled, but the anesthetic hadn’t worn off yet, and his struggles were like a kitten’s, not looking angry but rather like a coy rejection.
Pei Yanlie changed his gentle offensive, aggressively invading the territory inside, his one hand wrapped tightly around Zhou Zhou’s lower back, his other hand gently rubbing the back of his head.
Zhou Zhou let out a sound of protest, his mind about to explode, and his inner thoughts poured out non-stop.
[Let go of me, pervert!]
[Taking advantage of someone’s vulnerability!]
[I didn’t expect the General to be such a freak!]
Pei Yanlie’s eyes darkened. He released his mouth, his voice low and raspy, filled with intense desire, “I’ve taken a liking to you.”
His words were very direct, and Zhou Zhou was shocked, thinking he had misheard.
Taken a liking to what?
What tiger-wolf words was he saying?
The effects of the anesthetic gradually wore off. For a moment, he forgot to move off Pei Yanlie’s lap, and just stared with wide eyes, his swollen lips slightly parted, looking at the man with the cold, stern face in disbelief.
[Did I hear wrong?]
[I must have heard wrong!]
“General, what did you just say?” Zhou Zhou’s voice was completely hoarse, his eyes filled with disbelief.
Pei Yanlie knew his own nature well. He would never mistreat himself. Although these intense feelings came inexplicably, he didn’t think too much about them.
Everything followed his instincts. Now that he had taken a liking to this young man, then this person would be his, and could only be his.
“Be with me,” he said, pinching Zhou Zhou’s chin, the corner of his mouth lifting in a slight arc, his tone was domineering and left no room for refusal.
When Zhou Zhou heard those clear, unmistakable words, he was even more dumbfounded. What was going on? Was the General possessed by some dirty thing?
Pei Yanlie narrowed his eyes slightly, his sharp gaze fixed on Zhou Zhou’s face, and said in a hoarse voice, “Unwilling?”
[Nonsense?]
His expression twisted for a moment, his mouth twitching. He belatedly realized that he was sitting on the General’s lap, and was so shocked that he wanted to roll to the side, but his waist was held tightly, preventing him from moving.
He wanted to shift his butt, but was afraid that this man would suddenly become beastly. After all, the other person was really hot.
That heat seemed to penetrate his pants and transfer to the area beneath his thighs.
[General Pei, don’t go into heat!]
