TLCBITAR Chapter 194
by VolareChapter 194: Couldn’t Have Really Turned Gay, Right?
All day long, Zhou Zhou stayed at Hu Wenxu’s uncle’s house. It wasn’t until nightfall that the two of them set off for the Main Star’s most famous Bar Street.
Hu Wenxu was driving a hover motorcycle. Zhou Zhou sat behind him, one hand on his shoulder to prevent falling off from the speed.
“Hold on tight, I won’t be responsible if you fall,” Hu Wenxu looked back at Zhou Zhou, his face expressionless, but his earlobes were already red.
“Are you hot?” Zhou Zhou asked, staring at his ears.
Hu Wenxu coughed lightly twice, “No, it’s a bit crowded.”
“Then it can only be that you’ve gotten fat, your butt’s gotten bigger.” As he spoke, Zhou Zhou moved backward.
“Damn, you’re still so mouthy. I’m at a standard weight, where did I get fat!” Hu Wenxu gritted his teeth and cursed softly, “Hold on tight, I’m driving.”
Zhou Zhou lazily gave an “Oh,” tightening his fingers and pinching his shoulder. The muscle under his palm felt firm. “Little Hu, have you been secretly working out behind my back?”
Thinking that his buddy, who was the same height as him, had a strong build, he couldn’t help but feel envious.
The hover motorcycle suddenly darted out, speeding forward in the air. The night wind messed up Zhou Zhou’s hairstyle and scattered the words leaking from his mouth.
Hu Wenxu didn’t hear him clearly. Where Zhou Zhou couldn’t see, he chuckled softly.
In less than five minutes, the motorcycle stopped in the parking lot dedicated to Bar Street. Zhou Zhou stepped on the ground, lifted his long legs to get off the vehicle, and leisurely sized up the surrounding environment.
He had been to the Main Star’s most famous Bar Street once last year and still remembered it vividly.
He raised his eyes to look at the brightly lit, colorful street not far away. Both sides of the street were lined with uniquely shaped bars.
Tonight, their reserved booth was in the “Translucent” Bar. As the name suggested, the bar’s exterior looked like a transparent crystal palace. One could see the outside scene clearly from the inside, but the inside was invisible from the outside.
Zhou Zhou fussed with his hair at Hu Wenxu’s side, using hair wax to sweep all the bangs back, revealing a smooth, fair forehead. With a raised eyebrow, he looked utterly rakish.
“With this kind of getup, you look like a playboy at first glance,” Hu Wenxu also got off the vehicle, looking at his profile with a hint of something indiscernible in his gaze.
“Tsk, Little Hu, do you know why you’ve been single for 21 years! Women don’t love men who aren’t bad. If you don’t change your style, which girl will dare to get close to you? You joke and play around in front of your brothers, but put on a grumpy face in front of outsiders. It’s hard to find a girlfriend that way.” Zhou Zhou walked shoulder to shoulder with him toward the bar.
“Are you saying I’m ugly?” Hu Wenxu frowned, his voice tinged with a bit of sullenness.
Hu Wenxu was a conventionally handsome guy, and his dressing was much more proper than Zhou Zhou’s. Even when coming to a bar, he wore a white shirt and casual jeans.
In contrast, Zhou Zhou had a slicked-back hairstyle, a sleeveless black top, dark ripped jeans, and a pair of once-popular brand-name flip-flops, looking like a complete rogue.
When someone is handsome, they look good in anything. Especially since Zhou Zhou’s figure was considered outstanding among men. Although he had lost more than ten pounds, he could quickly gain the weight back with some nourishment.
Just walking from the parking lot to the bar, many girls cast their gazes on him and Hu Wenxu.
Little Li, Little Liu, and the others were already squeezing like meatballs in the surging dance floor, dancing wildly and excitedly.
Zhou Zhou immediately caught the most conspicuous guy in the crowd. That idiot Little Liu was wearing a pink, flamboyant shirt with almost all the buttons undone, a lecherous and wretched smile plastered on his face.
He clicked his tongue twice and walked to the booth, sitting down with his back against the sofa, crossing his legs, and casually scanning the surroundings, trying to find a prey that would move his heart.
Hu Wenxu sat next to him, “Tsk, can’t wait to find a woman?”
“Yeah,” Zhou Zhou said dismissively, his brows furrowing unconsciously.
There were so many beautiful women in the bar that it was dazzling, but he didn’t like any of them.
It’s over.
At this moment, Little Li and Little Liu, each with scantily clad, slender women in their arms, walked over.
“Yo, are you two sitting here like wooden blocks? Hurry up and go hunting,” Little Liu said, hugging his newly acquired girlfriend and planting a kiss on her face.
The girl glared at him shyly and raised her hand to wipe her cheek. Her eyes occasionally fell on Zhou Zhou, and finally, she couldn’t help but ask Little Liu, “Brother Liu, why don’t you introduce us?”
Little Liu raised his eyebrows, turned his face sideways, and the stud in his right ear glittered silver in the dim light.
“This is my Brother Zhou, the visual representative of this place. Don’t even think about him, you’re not his type,” Little Liu said, raising her chin with a playful smile.
The heavily made-up girl giggled and leaned into Little Liu’s arms. “You’re so annoying, I only have you in my heart.”
Zhou Zhou and the others remained noncommittal. Liu Kuo’s girlfriends came and went, the longest never lasting more than a month. They all willingly followed him.
His father was a high-ranking official in the Federal Club, and he himself was very generous to his girlfriends. He was tall, handsome, and had a sweet tongue, very good at coaxing people, a veritable playboy.
“Come on, everyone, let’s have a drink to celebrate Brother Zhou’s return,” Little Li said, holding a hostess tightly with one hand and raising his glass with the other, his face filled with a bright smile.
There were seven or eight people in the booth, all rich second-generation or official second-generation from the Main Star or neighboring stars. They were all open to jokes and got along well. Zhou Zhou had known this group of friends since high school, and he couldn’t be clearer about their personalities.
He picked up his glass, stood up, and smiled wantonly. “One glass is not enough, let’s not go home until we’re drunk tonight!”
“Here comes Brother Zhou again, who doesn’t know you’re a thousand-cup man!” someone said with a laugh.
“Am I an iron wall? A thousand-cup man,” Zhou Zhou said, then tilted his head back and drank it all.
The spicy, cold liquor flowed down his throat. He narrowed his eyes slightly and said with a smile, “So damn good!”
In less than five minutes, he had already been urged by his friends to drink six glasses of foreign wine.
Seeing his face flushed and his spirits getting better and better, Hu Wenxu helplessly advised, “Be moderate, if Auntie Zhou finds out later, she’ll nag you all night.”
Zhou Zhou glanced at him and retorted, “So, you’ve been assimilated by my mom? Or should I call you Mom Hu?”
Hu Wenxu rolled his eyes, drinking in silence and ignoring him.
Zhou Zhou didn’t forget the purpose of tonight. He put down his glass and raised his lips to smile, “Let’s go, let’s go to the dance floor and have some fun.”
He stepped into the dance floor and was quickly discovered and approached by single people.
“Handsome guy, wanna play together?” A woman in a black suspender dress leaned close to him to chat him up.
Zhou Zhou looked down at the girl who only reached his shoulder. He felt a slight dizziness in his head, his vision blurring for a moment. He quickly came to his senses and shook his head.
The woman thought he was rejecting her, and wrapping her arms around his arm, she asked regretfully, “Do you have someone?”
A slender figure vaguely appeared in Zhou Zhou’s mind, the man in his dream!
His face instantly flushed red, and his legs went weak.
Damn it! Could he really have turned gay, and feel nothing for the pretty girl in front of him?!
Because he was so shocked, he pried open the woman’s hand and took a step back. His back bumped into a hard, solid wall of flesh. A constant stream of cold air swept over from the person behind him, and he suddenly shivered.
The lights came on brightly, and the deafening music suddenly stopped.
“Federal troops are taking sudden action, please remain silent and stay where you are. Don’t blame us for being impolite if anyone resists!” someone shouted.
