Chapter 129: The Man Who Hides His Light

The male employees of Tianchuang Technology’s technical department revealed lustful expressions on their faces due to the arrival of the “Youth Five.”

“We deal with code every day. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen such vibrant and beautiful college students.”

“Look at that girl with the big wavy curls, so kawaii!”

“Can you guys not make such perverted expressions? You’re practically drooling.”

“If you ask me, the girl in the little white dress is prettier. She’s so gentle and delicate, like she’s about to faint any second.”

Qin Yang couldn’t stand it anymore. He straightened up and cast a sharp gaze at the group of nerdy guys in plaid shirts. “Ahem… where are your eyes looking? I’ll be checking on the tasks assigned at this morning’s meeting later.”

Everyone straightened their backs and returned to work, the sound of keyboard tapping quite pleasant to the ear.

Zhang Hui walked over to an unused computer and waved at Zhou Zhou and the others. “Come on, let me show you the skills of the technical department’s top dog.”

Liu Qian was curious and asked, “Who’s the top dog?”

Zhang Hui opened a video of this year’s international computer technology competition and said with a smile, “It’s this guy in the video. His name is Qin Yang. He’s a senior technician our boss hired with a lot of money. He’s won the gold medal in the International Red Hacker Alliance competition for three consecutive years, defeating countless hackers.”

Chen Qihang’s inner doubts deepened. Wasn’t Black Spider the most formidable in Tianchuang Technology’s technical department?

He never expected Qin Yang to be so awesome.

“Is Qin Yang even more powerful than Black Spider?” Chen Qihang moved closer to Zhang Hui and asked.

Zhang Hui chuckled. Just as he was about to speak, a cracking sound rang out.

Everyone looked towards the source of the sound. Qin Yang looked apologetic. “Sorry, my hand slipped.”

Luckily, he had been paying attention and noticed the movements on Zhang Hui’s side. He squatted down and picked up the shattered glass with his bare hands, his chestnut bangs falling down, obscuring the dark light surging in his eyes.

Distracted by this, Zhang Hui forgot what he was about to say and started talking about other people’s glorious achievements.

“Come on, let’s go to the next department.” Zhang Hui closed the video, his face radiant, and strode out excitedly.

Chen Qihang walked at the back, looking at Qin Yang’s back with an ambiguous expression, a fighting spirit rising in his heart.

Qin Yang’s competition video had shocked him, making him want to compete.

However, he couldn’t even beat Black Spider. Since Qin Yang was even more awesome than Black Spider, he probably had even less of a chance of winning, right?

He really was a man who hid his light.

“What’s going on? That guy just now looked like he wanted to eat me.” Lao Gao asked Qin Yang beside him.

Qin Yang smiled and reassured him, “Don’t think too much about it.”

He returned to his workstation, propped his chin with one hand, and tapped the table with the other, lost in thought.

He couldn’t figure out where he had offended Hanghang, even as Black Spider.

Chen Qihang’s game skills were much better than ordinary game enthusiasts, but that didn’t necessarily mean anything.

He carefully recalled the people he had feuded with online recently, no less than several dozen.

Most of them were international hackers, all of whom he had sent a screen full of dog shit.

As for domestic hackers, there were Little Black Worm, Zhǎn shén/ cut god, Crawler, Dark Night…

Could it be that Hanghang was one of these hackers?

This idea suddenly popped up, and he immediately rejected it.

Chen Qihang had never shown his hacker side in front of him, and there was nothing unusual even when they played games together.

However, besides offending hackers, he couldn’t think of who else Black Spider would offend.

Qin Yang took out his phone, clicked on Chen Qihang’s profile picture, and entered his Moments, finding the first Moment he had posted five years ago.

The accompanying picture was a scarred hand with several band-aids, lightly resting on a pure black keyboard, creating a strong impact.

The caption below read: Gods, how can they exist? Everything can only be relied on oneself. Since the heavens won’t let me die, I will live on.

Qin Yang zoomed in on the picture and carefully observed the hand. He had initially thought it was just a random picture Chen Qihang had found online, paired with a melodramatic caption, and hadn’t looked closely. Now he finally noticed something.

There was a very faint mole on the side of Chen Qihang’s right index finger, and the hand in the picture also had it.

Five years ago, Chen Qihang was only fourteen years old, right?

It was an age when he should have been spoiled and loved by his family, yet he had turned his hand into such a ghastly sight. Qin Yang pursed his lips tightly, the heartache in his eyes almost solidifying.

He casually clicked on the profile picture labeled “Knows Everything” and sent a red envelope.

“Knows Everything” claimed it in a second.

[Knows Everything: Boss, what can I do for you?]

[Qin Yang: Help me investigate a person, everything that has happened from birth to now.]

[Knows Everything: Oh, who is it? So detailed?]

At noon, Zhou Zhou was forcefully abducted by Pei Yanlie on his way to the cafeteria.

He looked at the luxurious office in front of him and once again marveled at the male lead’s money-grubbing ability.

Zhou Zhou stood at the door, arms crossed, and slowly joked, “President Pei, it’s not good for me to be in your office, is it? Aren’t you afraid I’ll steal your company’s secrets?”

Pei Yanlie reached out and put his arm around his waist, leading him inside, and chuckled in a deep voice, “It’s your ability if you can steal them.”

[Oh, so you’re so confident? You think I don’t have the ability!]

“You’ve been touring several floors all morning, aren’t you tired? After lunch, go into the lounge and I’ll massage your legs.” Pei Yanlie pressed him down on the sofa and casually ruffled his hair.

Zhou Zhou shook his head, dodging his hand, and moved his butt to the side, refusing. “No, am I a little white rabbit? If I enter your lounge, will I ever be able to come out?”

“In your eyes, am I that lecherous?” Pei Yanlie sat next to him, raised his hand to loosen his tie, and unbuttoned two buttons.

Zhou Zhou stared warily at the movements of his hands. Having been abused by this man’s tie many times, he had to be on guard.

Pei Yanlie put the tie on the armrest of the sofa and said meaningfully, “Does your mouth still hurt?”

“You still have the nerve to ask? If I suffocated and died, you’d be the culprit.” Zhou Zhou looked unhappy, crossed his legs and shook them. “How much does Pei shidi weigh? Don’t you have any self-awareness?”

[Destroy it all, let me have selective amnesia. Such terrifying and explosive scenes shouldn’t remain in my mind.]

He lowered his eyes and looked at his arm, comparing it secretly, and swallowed involuntarily.

[It hurts so much, my throat must be scratched, right?]

“Open your mouth, let me see if you’re injured.” Pei Yanlie’s eyes darkened, he raised his hand to pinch his chin, and turned on the phone’s light with one hand.

Zhou Zhou’s mouth was pinched up, and he said unhappily, “Forget it, even if I’m injured, you won’t let me go.”

“Let me see first. If you’re really injured, I’ll spray some medicine for you, and you can take revenge tonight.” The gentle and doting words made Zhou Zhou’s ears burn, his eyes darted around, and he muttered softly, “How to take revenge, is it what I’m thinking?”

    [Although I’m straight, but… but… it’s really so good!]

Pei Yanlie pretended to be puzzled and asked in a hoarse voice, “What do you want to do?”

Zhou Zhou’s phoenix eyes curved slightly, and he pulled away his hand. “No, never mind. I’m a serious college student, unlike President Pei, whose mind is full of all sorts of colorful thoughts.”

Pei Yanlie was amused. Good you, Zhou Zhou, you really know how to talk. Whose mind has more junk in it?

He leaned over and bit Zhou Zhou’s ear, his voice suppressed, “I’m giving you a chance, are you sure you don’t want it?”

His ear tip was licked intimately, Zhou Zhou’s body went weak. It was undeniable that Pei Yanlie’s skills had improved a lot.

He suppressed the gasp that was about to burst out and gritted his teeth. “Where did you learn that method from last night?”

    Pei Yanlie chuckled, “Self-taught.”
