TPATTHU Chapter 32
by VolarePurple Cloud gracefully picked up a wine pot with her slender, jade-like hands, and poured two cups. First, she presented one to Xiao Zhinian, lowering her eyes and softly smiling, “Please, young master.”
The wine cup was almost touching Xiao Zhinian’s lips, and half of her soft, cotton-like body was already pressed against him, a subtle fragrance wafting around.
“!!”
Xiao Zhinian was startled. He almost jumped up on the spot. How dare she approach him without his permission, and in front of Shen Zhejiang! Wouldn’t that be the death of him?
Then, he thought, why not take this opportunity to see how Shen Zhejiang would react to his intimacy with another person? That’s how it was written in the storybooks. If Shen Zhejiang cared about him, he definitely wouldn’t be able to stand him being close to someone else.
So, Xiao Zhinian suppressed his disgust and wrapped an arm around Purple Cloud’s waist, pulling her onto his lap, and said with a smile, “Purple Cloud? What a lovely name. This young master likes it.”
Praised like this, Purple Cloud lowered her eyes shyly and giggled. She raised a hand to tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear, knowing which side of her was more pleasing to men. “Thank you for your compliment, young master.”
“……”
Shen Zhejiang’s eyes were deep, and his pale lips were pressed so tightly that several fine lines appeared. He didn’t look pleased, but that was his usual expression, so no one could tell what he was really thinking.
What did Xiao Zhinian mean by this?
Just a few days ago, he had declared his love for him with great fanfare, and now, in the blink of an eye, he was flirting with someone else right in front of him. He really didn’t know how to avoid suspicion.
Heh.
“Let me feed you wine, young master.”
Xiao Zhinian hummed in agreement, allowing Purple Cloud to feed him wine while stealing glances at Shen Zhejiang, hoping to see something other than indifference in his expression.
But there was nothing.
“Open your mouth, young master, have some grapes.”
The sweet juice spread across his tongue, but the more Xiao Zhinian tasted it, the more he tasted a hint of bitterness.
Shen Zhejiang was like an emotionless puppet, his face tense, sitting far away, ignoring their intimate words.
But if Xiao Zhinian could hear Shen Zhejiang’s inner thoughts, he would see a noisy and indignant scene:
Just eat, why get so close?
Did she have to feed him with her mouth?
Shameless! Scandalous! Outrageous!
Shen Zhejiang sneered inwardly. When he came back to his senses, he found himself holding a cup full of wine.
He had unknowingly snatched the wine cup. He looked up and saw that Purple Cloud was still holding the original one, and he secretly breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that he hadn’t been so impulsive.
“Sir collapses after just one cup. Why bother to show off?”
The teasing tone fell into his ears.
Shen Zhejiang’s face darkened. “How do you know I can’t drink?”
With that, he silently poured the wine into his throat, even snatching the wine pot and pouring cup after cup.
He drank too fast, and Xiao Zhinian couldn’t stop him.
Before he knew it, the wine pot was empty.
He didn’t know what kind of wine this was. After a pot, the aftereffects quickly surged, coloring his cheeks with a gorgeous blush, and his head began to spin dizzily.
Seeing this, Purple Cloud giggled and said, “So this young master really can’t drink. His tolerance is really low…”
But then she saw Xiao Zhinian glaring at her, a fierce light in his eyes, which startled her. “W-what’s wrong?”
Xiao Zhinian would never allow anyone to criticize Shen Zhejiang behind his back, not even half a word.
He tore Purple Cloud off of him and threw her to the ground. He patted his rumpled clothes and said, “Since when is it your place to lecture my teacher? Get out!”
Purple Cloud looked at Xiao Zhinian in surprise, as if she understood something. Then, she quickly got up, her face pale. “I was blind and offended you. Please forgive me, young master.”
“Get out!!”
Only the two of them remained in the private room.
Xiao Zhinian walked around the table and supported the staggering Shen Zhejiang, preventing him from falling. He sighed, “I told you earlier that you can’t hold your liquor. What are you doing?”
Shen Zhejiang’s uprightness was ingrained in his bones. Even though he was drunk, his eyes were gradually becoming blurred, but he still spoke in a formal manner: “Your Majesty, please behave yourself.”
He pushed Xiao Zhinian away, lost his balance, and almost hit the table. Fortunately, Xiao Zhinian caught him in time and barely managed to steady him.
“Sir, you’re drunk.”
“I’m not…” Shen Zhejiang still tried to push Xiao Zhinian away, but after several unsuccessful attempts, he became annoyed with the drunkenness. “Let go, go find someone you like, don’t bother me, go away…”
Xiao Zhinian didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “The person I like is you.”
“Nonsense,” Shen Zhejiang pried open his hand and stood up unsteadily, wanting to walk out the door. “If you don’t leave, then I’ll leave.”
“……” Xiao Zhinian sighed and quickly pulled Shen Zhejiang back into his arms, hugging him tightly as he struggled. An idea flashed in his mind, and he asked, “Sir, were you jealous just now?”
“Hmm?”
Shen Zhejiang stopped moving, his eyes seeming hazy. He blinked twice and looked up at Xiao Zhinian’s handsome face, his expression blank, not knowing what he was thinking.
Xiao Zhinian cupped Shen Zhejiang’s face, which was flushed red with alcohol, and his thumb traced the contours of Shen Zhejiang’s slightly parted, moist lips, glistening with water.
“You can’t stand seeing others being intimate with me, can you?”
A seductive, low voice.
Shen Zhejiang quietly stared at him, his thoughts dulled by the intoxicating wine, as if trying to understand the meaning of Xiao Zhinian’s words.
Xiao Zhinian also gazed at him.
This drunken, hazy appearance, his eyes filled with moisture, his lips slightly parted, looked like he was asking him for a kiss.
Xiao Zhinian took a deep breath and closed his eyes before opening them again.
“Is that right, Shen Zhejiang?”
He was anxious and asked again.
The wine seemed to burn all the way to his chest, and the burning flame soared into the sky, making him extremely anxious and eager for a positive answer from Shen Zhejiang’s mouth.
Shen Zhejiang didn’t speak. After a while, he suddenly opened his lips and took Xiao Zhinian’s finger, which was caressing his lower lip, into his mouth.
“!!!”
Xiao Zhinian widened his eyes in shock, a subtle, electric-like sensation surging rapidly from his tailbone, reaching the top of his head.
His fingertip was enveloped in a warm, moist mouth, and the soft tongue licked tentatively, again and again, as if a little beast was pleasing its master.
So trembling, so comfortable, making him want to go deeper…
Xiao Zhinian suddenly pulled his hand away.
Shen Zhejiang raised his neck in confusion and bewilderment, looking at him.
“Sir, can you see clearly, who am I?”
Xiao Zhinian asked.
Shen Zhejiang was puzzled and seemed to find it strange that Xiao Zhinian would ask such a naive question: “Xiao Zhinian, you are Xiao Zhinian.”
Years of unrequited love had finally received a response.
“You love me too, right?”
Xiao Zhinian couldn’t restrain himself any longer. He grabbed the back of Shen Zhejiang’s neck and kissed him.
Lips and teeth intertwined, lingering, caressing.
Finally, he spoke the thoughts of all these years.
