SCWP Chapter 8
by VolareThe Truth
The truth.
Qi Feiyu said that those two people had been pestering him for a long time. One was deliberately staging accidents to get his attention, and the other was using various excuses to retaliate against him. It didn’t seem like they were seeking revenge, but more like they were setting him up.
As Qi Feiyu spoke, he leaned against Lin Qichi, seeking comfort with a wronged expression, looking like an innocent little lamb being bullied.
Lin Qichi still found it hard to believe. He gently stroked Qi Feiyu to comfort him, and then reopened the story line from the compressed file.
It was still only half complete, with the rest of the plot missing. Lin Qichi looked at Qi Feiyu, who was lying on his lap, almost purring with contentment. He really looked like a little cat.
How could anyone target such a well-behaved child? Lin Qichi lovingly kissed the corner of Qi Feiyu’s eye. Qi Feiyu silently opened his eyes and stared at Lin Qichi.
Lin Qichi tapped Qi Feiyu’s head and asked, “Why didn’t you tell me when you were being bullied?”
Qi Feiyu adjusted himself into a more comfortable position in Lin Qichi’s arms and slowly said, “I can handle it.”
Lin Qichi looked at the suddenly appearing sequel in the story line:
[En Sihan is actually Qi’s illegitimate daughter. In order to legitimately inherit all of Qi’s assets, she actively sought out Ye Chenxi to cooperate and deal with Qi Feiyu together.
Ye Chenxi, in order toCannibalism (cánshí: nibble away at; encroach on) the Qi family and break away from his own family to become independent, feigned agreement with En Sihan’s cooperation, but was actually secretlydevour (tūnshí: gobbling up) Qi’s power. The two even joined forces to cripple Qi Feiyu, which made Qi Feiyu even more paranoid and retaliatory. First, he captured the female lead, En Sihan, and then frantically attacked Ye Chenxi’s newly opened company. Because his reputation was ruined, Ye Chenxi used this to his advantage to create momentum and earn enough public opinion advantages for the company.
Because the female lead was captured by Qi Feiyu, Ye Chenxi began to realize that he had unknowingly fallen in love with the girl who had taken the initiative to propose cooperation. After bringing down Qi Feiyu, Ye Chenxi went to En Sihan to express his feelings, and the two became a new promising couple in the business world.]
Lin Qichi scrolled to the end to see Qi Feiyu’s ending: he was completely ruined in the business world, tricked by En Sihan and kicked out of the Qi family, and became a vagrant on the streets. Lin Qichi flipped through the entire book to see where he was. Logically, the person he was attached to doted on him so much, he should have been taken home and comforted and cared for, right?
Lin Qichi reread the main text, but only found the words “Sailed overseas, fate unknown.”
So En Sihan’s initial approach was to sow discord?
After reading it, Lin Qichi didn’t know whether to be shocked by the shamelessness of the two or to feel sorry for Qi Feiyu first.
“Xiaoyu, remember to tell me next time you’re bullied. Don’t let me only find out later and can only feel sorry for you.”
Although it was initially for the sake of the mission, Qi Feiyu had always been obedient and well-behaved, and he was also good-looking and loved to act spoiled. Lin Qichi also unconsciously began to treat him not just as a mission target. But as a little cub with psychological flaws, naturally, he couldn’t stand seeing his cub, who he only wanted to spoil, being bullied outside.
Qi Feiyu didn’t know what was suddenly wrong with Lin Qichi, but he clearly knew: if there was an advantage to be taken, his head should be replaced if he didn’t take it.
Guessing the meaning of Lin Qichi’s words, Qi Feiyu climbed onto Lin Qichi, wrapped his arms around him, and didn’t speak, only looked at him pitifully.
Qi Feiyu couldn’t do anything under Lin Qichi’s indulgent gaze. What he wanted was not this.
Qi Feiyu pouted unhappily, fell into Lin Qichi’s arms, and buried his head, feeling that he was becoming more and more greedy.
Feeling the weight on his body, Lin Qichi secretly resolved to pick up fitness again.
Lin Qichi ruffled Qi Feiyu’s hair, Qi Feiyu enjoyed it while feeling dissatisfied, and it was also a peaceful scene.
The autumn night was quiet and still, in the rustling wind, mixed with malicious whispers.
“Didn’t you say you would find a way to get Lin Qichi away? Why do I feel like they’re getting closer?”
“It’s just your illusion. Lin Qichi took care of him because of Qi Feiyu’s mother. As long as you let him know that his mother was killed by him, he will definitely not interfere with our actions.”
And Lin Qichi, who was being talked about, was troubled by Qi Feiyu who had been lying on him, not moving and not getting up.
“Baby, be good, go to bed and take a bath first.” Lin Qichi looked at Qi Feiyu who had fallen asleep in his arms, and helplessly carried him to take a bath, served him to put on his pajamas, and then took him to bed to sleep soundly.
When Qi Feiyu woke up again, he found himself clean, changed into new pajamas, and held tightly in Lin Qichi’s arms.
Qi Feiyu liked to be presumptuous in Lin Qichi’s arms, because he knew he would spoil him, and because of his favoritism, he couldn’t help but indulge and be unscrupulous.
Qi Feiyu rubbed against Lin Qichi’s arms again before reluctantly getting up to pack himself up.
Some jumping clowns have danced in front of people they shouldn’t have provoked, it’s better to clean them up earlier.
When Lin Qichi woke up, Qi Feiyu had already returned and was lying on the edge of the bed looking at him, his chin resting on the edge of the bed, with only his head showing, like a cat obediently waiting for its owner to wake up. Lin Qichi’s heart melted when he saw it.
Lin Qichi propped up half of his body, gently rubbed Qi Feiyu’s head first, and then slowly began to change clothes: “Why did you come back so early today?”
Qi Feiyu’s eyes were always on Lin Qichi, not dodging: “Missed you.”
Lin Qichi didn’t avoid him and slowly put on his clothes. “Did you finish your run?”
“Yeah.” Qi Feiyu nodded obediently, just that the route was a little different from usual.
Lin Qichi chased Qi Feiyu out to cook, and he went to wash up, glancing at the “Extremism Meter” that suddenly rang when he was sleeping.

Lin Qichi: Did you go out to fight again?
Lin Qichi saw the male and female leads again in a bar that Qi Feiyu dragged him to. Qi Feiyu went to mix him a drink.
Lin Qichi sat in the booth, quietly enjoying the loss of voice brought by the chaotic surroundings. The dance floor had just started to get lively, and the atmospheric lights were flashing, illuminating people like ghosts, mixing them together.
Lin Qichi took a few of the atmospheric papers on the booth, and depending on Qi Feiyu not touching any alcohol unless it was personally mixed by him, folded paper in a rather uneventful way.
“Hello.” Lin Qichi was folding to the fourth one when En Sihan came.
“Hmm?” Lin Qichi was in a good mood, and the look in his eyes at En Sihan had a smile. “Hello, don’t scan the code.”
En Sihan came prepared this time and wasn’t easily driven away by Lin Qichi. She did enough homework and cut through all those detours, directly getting to the point.
Qi Feiyu came back after mixing the drink and saw Lin Qichi listening to En Sihan, who had approached at some point, with a smile. An alarm suddenly went off in his heart, feeling that something was about to happen.
“Uncle Lin.” Qi Feiyu pinched the edge of the glass tightly, suppressing the trembling in his voice, and asked with a smile, “What were you talking about?” as if he didn’t see the woman who suddenly appeared at all.
What Qi Feiyu couldn’t see was that his smile was too deliberate, and a little bit ferocious instead.
Lin Qichi pulled Qi Feiyu over and told him everything that En Sihan had told him, ignoring En Sihan’s implied intentions.
It was about Qi Feiyu’s family affairs, and Lin Qichi was quite interested at first, so he listened. He didn’t expect that it would later turn into how Qi Feiyu personally forced his mother to die.
“Baby, should I be sad?” Lin Qichi looked at Qi Feiyu, who was lowering his head beside him, wondering if the reason why the person he was attached to wasn’t by Qi Feiyu’s side in the end was because of this?
Seeing that Qi Feiyu didn’t speak, Lin Qichi got a little angry, pinched his chin, and forced him to look at himself: “Answer me obediently.”
As soon as Qi Feiyu’s face was revealed, his red eyes tugged at Lin Qichi’s heart.
Lin Qichi only wanted to hug him in his arms and comfort him, but the so-called female lead was still watching beside him. Suppressing the throbbing in his heart, he asked, “Is what she said true?”
Qi Feiyu didn’t speak, only looked at him with red eyes.
Lin Qichi could only turn to En Sihan and say, “Since Miss En has finished speaking, can you leave? Our private matters should be resolved by ourselves.” Feeling the clothes being grabbed tightly behind him, Lin Qichi only wanted to urge En Sihan to leave quickly.
Seeing the reactions of the two, En Sihan knew that she had succeeded. Before leaving, she still wanted to provoke Qi Feiyu: “Then you have to be careful, you won’t be spared if you get bitten by a mad dog you raised.”
Sure enough, she saw Qi Feiyu’s glare, as if he couldn’t wait to tear her to pieces, and she was even more satisfied.
“Don’t bother you to worry.” The corners of Lin Qichi’s eyes still had a smile, but he couldn’t suppress the impatience that was revealed, meaning that he didn’t take her seriously at all.
En Sihan was confident when she came, but when she left, she was so flustered that she even went to the wrong place for the door.
Lin Qichi took the special cocktail in Qi Feiyu’s hand, put it on the table, pulled Qi Feiyu to sit down, and feeling the trembling of the person beside him, asked softly, “What’s wrong? Scared?”
Qi Feiyu trembled even more severely. Considering that En Sihan and others were still watching here, Lin Qichi drank the wine that Qi Feiyu had brought back in one gulp and left with him.
As soon as Lin Qichi closed the car door, he pulled him to his side and kissed him. The strong smell of alcohol spread between the lips of the two. Qi Feiyu opened his eyes wide and looked out the window, afraid that Lin Qichi would see him shed tears.
That would be too embarrassing.
Lin Qichi instructed the driver to drive home as soon as possible, stroking Qi Feiyu’s soft hair to comfort him.
Qi Feiyu lay on Lin Qichi’s lap, but felt that his body was colder than ever.
