SCWP Chapter 7

The Male Protagonist and the Antagonist
“Lin Uncle, can you keep me company tomorrow?” Qi Feiyu acted spoiled as usual. The sun hadn’t even risen yet, and he was already heading out for his morning run, mindlessly insisting on waking Lin Qichi to make him breakfast.
“Hurry up and go for your run, I’ll get up and make it for you later. No company tomorrow, not going in the morning.” Lin Qichi turned over, mumbled a few words, and prepared to continue sleeping. He was used to running late and considered morning runs a disaster.
“Lin Uncle, accompany me, accompany me.” Qi Feiyu affectionately clung to him. Whether he agreed or not was no longer important; he simply wanted to be affectionate and spoiled.
Lin Qichi was turned back by Qi Feiyu. Even with the best temper, he wanted to get angry: “Don’t you have class today?” But it was completely harmless.
“Good morning kiss.” Qi Feiyu’s face still had quite the impact. Just right, the slanted morning light sprinkled down, and even the fine hairs on his face were clearly visible, softening his cheeks, as if bringing a touch of divinity.
Lin Qichi wasn’t fully awake yet, listening to Qi Feiyu babbling something again. He leaned in to listen, but the other dodged him.
Lin Qichi raised his hand to pinch Qi Feiyu’s nose, not letting him dodge any further, his words carrying a bit of a nasal tone: “Baby, if you want something, won’t you come and get it yourself? What did Uncle teach you? Haven’t learned it yet?”
“Uncle, I don’t know, teach me again.” Qi Feiyu followed Lin Qichi’s hand, the whole person nuzzling up. Sometimes, the belief in morning runs was still very fragile, always being put aside for one reason or another, just like today.
“This child is foolish, unteachable.” Lin Qichi turned over, deciding not to bother with him, and started shooing him away, “Hurry up and go for your run.”
“Here is joy, not longing for Shu.” Qi Feiyu stuck to Lin Qichi from behind, waiting quietly for a long time, and discovered that the other had fallen asleep again.
Qi Feiyu suddenly thought: Lin Qichi has been clean and self-disciplined for so many years, without a hint of scandal. Could it be that there’s something wrong with his body? That wouldn’t be even more of a match for him? Then many things would have an explanation.
Accustomed to their life together, Lin Qichi slept quite soundly, completely unaware of what someone was thinking about him in their mind. But even if he knew, he wouldn’t care too much.
After hugging for a while, Qi Feiyu forced himself to get up. After all, this was the time Lin Qichi slept the soundest. Most of the time, he wasn’t actually going for a morning run, but using this time to arrange things that he couldn’t let Lin Qichi know.
Lin Qichi was awakened by the Extremism Meter. He glanced at the alarm clock and saw that it was past the time Qi Feiyu returned from his morning run. The alarm clock had been turned off, probably by Qi Feiyu.

When Lin Qichi followed the location to get there, Qi Feiyu was fighting a group of people with a child under each arm. Lin Qichi thought to himself: How can someone have such beautiful legs? He usually didn’t notice it. They’d be perfect as anatomical practice material.
Lin Qichi seemed to have had his Ren and Du meridians opened up. He hadn’t seen it before, but this kid Qi Feiyu had violent tendencies. This was heaven sending him help.
In a few seconds, Lin Qichi had planned out the perfect schedule of Qi Feiyu having small fights every three days and big fights every four days. Qi Feiyu was stunned there because of his arrival.
At this rate, he believed that he would be able to complete the mission soon and then properly ask the system what these worlds were all about. His intuition told him that these weren’t those little games in the Infinite Flow World, but like real worlds.
Lin Qichi’s thoughts were cleared, and he felt very happy. He saw the Extremism Meter’s light screen flash by.
Only then did he notice that the male protagonist who was fighting with his little fish was right there. Lin Qichi looked around and didn’t see any trace of the female protagonist. It was likely that she wasn’t there. He couldn’t help but think: So these two aren’t always together.
Qi Feiyu stood there, mumbling for a long time, before cautiously asking Lin Qichi: “Lin Uncle, why are you here?”
Lin Qichi looked at him strangely, stopping the melee as soon as he arrived, but he was satisfied with Qi Feiyu’s overwhelming strength compared to the others, “I turned on the location in your phone and walked over.”
Ye Chenxi wiped the blood from his lips. Qi Feiyu, that son of a bitch, especially liked to hit his face. He greeted the people around him and threatened, “Next time, I won’t let you off so easily.”
Lin Qichi walked to Qi Feiyu’s side, pulled him behind him, and said to the male protagonist, who was beaten black and blue by Qi Feiyu: “What? Don’t you know that you have to see who owns the dog before you beat it? If you say another word, I can make it happen to you right now.”
Qi Feiyu stood obediently behind Lin Qichi, his gaze towards Ye Chenxi full of viciousness, like a venomous snake choosing someone to devour, sinister and ruthless.
Ye Chenxi showed restraint towards Lin Qichi, not forgetting his manners despite his bloodied face: “Then you better be careful not to mistake a white-eyed wolf for a loyal dog and make a fool of yourself.”
Lin Qichi was also ruthless, retorting: “You better be careful not to turn yourself into a stray dog.”
Hearing his words, Ye Chenxi’s face darkened. As the next heir of the Ye family, he naturally knew who Lin Qichi was. The elders in his family had warned him never to provoke him. He himself was not yet fully fledged and could not leave the protection of his family for the time being.
Qi Feiyu clung tightly to the person in front of him. Although Lin Qichi’s arrival was unexpected, it felt good to blatantly take advantage of his favor to bully others.
After sending away the male protagonist, Lin Qichi began to interrogate his own cub.
Lin Qichi pinched Qi Feiyu’s bloodied cheek, his smiling eyes filled with a hint of teasing anger: “Little fish, come on, tell me honestly, you turned off my alarm clock early in the morning just to come and fight, didn’t you? Who made you unhappy?”
Seeing the smile in his eyes, Qi Feiyu felt that things were not good, and he bent his eyebrows flatteringly, saying, “Lin Uncle, good morning.”
Lin Qichi subconsciously opened his mouth: “No kiss.”
Qi Feiyu still smiled and pulled Lin Qichi into a nearby alley. Seeing that there was no one around, he wanted to be even more unbridled.
“Qi Feiyu.” Lin Qichi suddenly stopped, looking at him with eyes as if he was meeting him for the first time. Qi Feiyu was inexplicably flustered by his call, “What’s wrong? Lin Uncle.”
Lin Qichi quickly switched to a look of sympathy and pity, still with that familiar flavor: “Are you a bad at direction?”
Qi Feiyu: “…”
The sun began to rise, and the earth seemed to become dry. Qi Feiyu licked his lips and said in a low voice: “Lin Uncle, there are very few people passing by here.”
Lin Qichi asked strangely: “Are you going to kill me to silence me?”
Qi Feiyu didn’t want to listen to his nonsense anymore and went straight to the point: “There are very few people passing by here, Lin Uncle, can I kiss you here?”
Lin Qichi stayed silent for a long time. The sun seemed to be even hotter, and he also felt a little thirsty. He had run out directly after waking up. Lin Qichi suddenly remembered that he seemed to have planned to make porridge today.
Seeing that he wasn’t speaking, Qi Feiyu took it as tacit consent and went to ask for the sweetness he wanted.
Lin Qichi led the person home, and the Extremism Meter rang again.

Lin Qichi watched someone humming and going to cook. Every time he forgot that the other was just a mission objective, the Extremism Meter would suddenly jump out to remind him, along with the words “extremism” and “antagonist.”
Fortunately, he had now found a way. Fighting, well, he was quite familiar with that from the Infinite Flow World. He believed that Qi Feiyu would soon return to the ranks of the psychologically normal. Sure enough, it was still psychological shadow?
“Lin Uncle, can I go to the company with you tomorrow? I don’t have class tomorrow.” Qi Feiyu poked his head out from the small kitchen in the dormitory, looking at Lin Qichi expectantly, with a knife for cutting vegetables in his hand.
Looking at him like this, Lin Qichi felt a certain point in his heart being gently poked. Holding a sharp weapon that could hurt people, but with such an expectant look, Lin Qichi said: This is too cute.
Lin Qichi rarely refused Qi Feiyu’s requests, especially when he was deliberately acting cute. Naturally, it was fully approved.
Because it was too smooth and he didn’t ask any reasons, this completely trusting attitude made Qi Feiyu always couldn’t help but suddenly run out from cooking to beg Lin Qichi.
Lin Qichi was addicted to company affairs and couldn’t extricate himself. Qi Feiyu’s arrival only resulted in a cup of water being brought to him along the way, and then he was left to do whatever he wanted.
“Lin Uncle, don’t you think you spoil me too much?” The well-behaved teenager, who had prepared the meal and was waiting for his elder to start eating first, asked the required pre-dinner question once again.
Seeing that Qi Feiyu was about to start feeling sorry for himself again, Lin Qichi hurriedly filled himself with a few mouthfuls of food, comforting him, “Children should be spoiled more, it’s only right.”
Qi Feiyu: “Lin Uncle, will you always treat me like a child?”
Lin Qichi: “No matter how many years pass, you’ll always be a child in my eyes.”
Qi Feiyu asked himself into a stomachful of anger again, angrily poking at the rice in his bowl.
“Okay, stop making a fuss.” Lin Qichi rubbed his head to show comfort, took the food and chopsticks that were being ruined by Qi Feiyu, and resignedly went to feed him.
Qi Feiyu turned his face away from Lin Qichi’s feeding, asking him: “What exactly do you want me to do so that you won’t treat me like a child.”
Lin Qichi stretched his chopsticks forward, putting it to Qi Feiyu’s mouth, it was his favorite tender fish, “It’s okay, with me, you can be a child for the rest of your life.”
Qi Feiyu understood his meaning, a child for the rest of his life, impossible for a lifetime.
Qi Feiyu obediently took the fish from the chopsticks, swallowed it in two or three bites, and chased after Lin Qichi, wanting to bite the chopsticks that were being taken back, biting the chopsticks tightly without letting go as if venting his anger. A pair of light-colored eyes stared intently at Lin Qichi, grinding the chopsticks from side to side with his teeth, as if using them to replace someone.
Qi Feiyu’s aggressiveness was never concealed in front of Lin Qichi, but he was used to pretending in front of Lin Qichi. No matter how ferocious he was, Lin Qichi only treated him as a little fish who was starving and begging for food, just smoothing his fur would be enough, not even picky about leftovers, obedient and worry-free.
Looking at Lin Qichi’s calm eyes, Qi Feiyu was only left with disappointment. He didn’t want to talk about these things with him anymore and brought up Ye Chenxi’s matter: “He said I stole his woman, that’s really gilding his face.” As he spoke, Qi Feiyu couldn’t help but secretly glance at Lin Qichi’s expression.
Lin Qichi didn’t show much change on his face, but instead thought for a moment: “En Sihan?”
“How do you know?”
“She seemed to have come to me to help fill out a questionnaire. That time, she was with that little girl. Before, when you weren’t around and I went out alone, children often came to me to help with that. You don’t want to, do you?” Lin Qichi randomly made up an excuse, afraid that Qi Feiyu would misunderstand and be jealous, so he added.
Qi Feiyu was speechless for a while, what a cliche pick-up method. But Lin Qichi actually did it for them? Didn’t he have any awareness of network information security?!
Qi Feiyu was terribly jealous and really wanted to find Ye Chenxi and have another fight. He had never seen Lin Qichi even look at the questionnaires he did.
Qi Feiyu finally couldn’t help but pounce on Lin Qichi, turning his grief and indignation into appetite, tearing at Lin Qichi’s ear with his teeth, not daring to use too much force in a chaotic gnaw, repeatedly telling him: “Don’t do questionnaires for anyone except me.”
“Okay, okay.” Lin Qichi was made to itch at the roots of his ears, couldn’t help but dodge backward, and repeatedly responded.
Qi Feiyu forced him to guarantee it again and again, before finally being willing to let go of that patch of redness.
With no “hostage” in Qi Feiyu’s mouth, Lin Qichi was finally able to properly ask him what was going on with Ye Chenxi.
