Huo Ye, infamous and feared, is the school bully at Lanjing Private High School #2. Known for his notorious reputation, he’s a top-tier delinquent but a bottom-rung academic. He spends his days with other troubled students, navigating the school’s unmonitored “gray zone.” Despite his rough exterior, he has a different temperament from other “bad kids” — he’s polite but strikes back when provoked.

Rumor has it that he’s repeated grades twice, nearly failing to make it into high school. His bad reputation follows him from middle school, where he was infamous. His courteous smile hides a fierce personality.

Yet, this infamous Huo Ye somehow managed to get lucky, soaring from the lowest-ranked 18th class to the elite A class full of top students after the placement exam. The whole school was shocked, and rumors spread that he must have cheated or used connections. Most feared, disliked, or despised him, including his deskmate Shen Tingyu, who found him utterly annoying.

On his first day back at his ancestral home, Shen Tingyu is informed by the butler that there’s a new housekeeper coming in the evening to clean and cook. After school, Shen Tingyu returns home with his luggage, only to open the door and see a tall, broad-shouldered, narrow-waisted young man wearing a black and white apron, expertly flipping a pan in the kitchen, his head nearly reaching the ceiling. The floors are spotless, and the aroma of food fills the air. It’s hard to believe this is his notorious bully classmate from school.

Noticing the sound, the “bully” turns, slightly surprised, with a spatula still in hand. Huo Ye raises an eyebrow and smiles, saying, “Oh, so you’re my young master.”

Shen Tingyu: “…”

After three seconds of silence, Shen Tingyu turns to step outside and calls the butler.

“Hello?” the butler answers.

In a cold tone, Shen Tingyu asks, “Did you get me a housekeeper who’s six feet tall?”

The butler: “Huh?”
