    Chapter 10: Church Dreams

It had only been two days.

The sense of oppression was still so strong.

Actually, in these past two days, Yu An had tried to convince himself to go find Xie Jinsheng.

However, the monster’s whereabouts were unpredictable, like a ghost. It was impossible to run into him in the vast Ruined City. Every time he went out, he returned empty-handed and dejected.

But this man actually appeared at his bedside in the middle of the night.

What was he trying to do?!

He wasn’t here to kill him, right?

Yu An gasped for breath. The little courage he had managed to muster was almost completely depleted by this. Fortunately, he had System 089’s company.

[Host, don’t worry, he’s not here to kill you. He’s been standing here for almost five minutes. I suspect he wants to do some weird play with you.] 089 said with a serious face.

    Yu An: “……?”

How did you come to that conclusion?

[Because there’s ointment on his tentacles.] 089 said, a little embarrassed. [Ahem, it’s the kind of ointment used to remove skin marks after…lovers do that sort of thing.]

    What?!

Yu An was so shocked that he wanted to shrink his head back into the blanket.

…Was Xie Jinsheng trying to bully him and then erase the evidence?

Concerned about his virginity, Yu An tensed up.

Of course, he didn’t want to be * .

He planned to secretly reach for the weapon under his pillow. If Xie Jinsheng dared to mess around, he would stab his lifeline!

But as soon as he moved, he felt something cold and sticky touch his wrist.

    Yu An: “……”

    He instantly dared not move.

But gradually, he noticed that the tentacles had changed. They were no longer unrestrained. Even when they touched him, their movements were careful and tentative.

    Yu An:?

He didn’t seem to be here to bully him.

Yes, after being taught a lesson these past two days, the tentacles had finally learned how to behave.

When they wanted to touch the young man’s more private areas, they glanced at their master’s face and quickly stopped, only applying the ointment to the heavily affected areas of the Omega’s wrists and ankles.

This ointment was extremely precious and effective. Their master had spent a lot of effort to find it these past few days.

He believed that by noon, there wouldn’t be any red marks left on Yu An’s body from the tentacles.

The tentacles were busily working, the blanket occasionally bulging a little.

Xie Jinsheng stood by the windowsill, watching the sky outside.

He slowly crushed two Advanced Crystal Cores in his hand.

In the past six months, he had killed over a thousand infected creatures, but his memory was still blank.

He had a feeling that there was something important he had to do, but he couldn’t remember what it was.

Somehow, Xie Jinsheng’s gaze gradually shifted to the person in the bed.

It was five o’clock in the morning.

A faint light shone through the window, illuminating the young man’s snow-white cheeks. His eyes were closed, his eyelashes casting faint shadows, making him look very well-behaved. His rosy lips were also lightly pursed.

Even though it had been two days, Xie Jinsheng still occasionally remembered the way the young man held his tentacle and wanted to kiss it—his lips slightly parted, revealing a glimpse of red.

The tentacles, seeing their master staring at the young man’s face, were puzzled. But when they saw the small pink birthmark on the Omega’s temple, they suddenly understood.

A moment later, Yu An felt a tentacle suddenly crawl to his ear and touch the small pink birthmark on his temple.

    Xie Jinsheng: “……”

    Yu An: “…………”

These tentacles probably thought his birthmark was a red mark too.

After a few seconds, the tentacles realized they had applied the ointment to the wrong spot and hurriedly tried to fix it.

But even the thinnest tentacle was too big. It was clumsy and, instead of wiping it off, it smeared a little on Yu An’s nose.

    Yu An: “……”

He was so itchy that he really wanted to raise his hand and wipe it off.

But Xie Jinsheng was still there. He didn’t dare to move rashly and prayed that he would leave soon.

Suddenly, he heard the man click his tongue softly. Then, the tentacles retreated tremblingly.

    The surroundings were instantly quiet.

    This…was it over?

Before Yu An could breathe a sigh of relief.

A moment later, a refreshing and pleasant scent enveloped him.

A scimitar dagger, wrapped in its sheath, brushed against his temple, helping him wipe off the ointment.

It all happened so suddenly that Yu An instinctively shrunk his neck from the cold.

    The man’s dagger suddenly paused.

    Yu An: “……”

    He didn’t dare to breathe.

    Acting asleep.jpg.

The sheath wiped away the ointment from his birthmark. Yu An breathed a sigh of relief. At that moment, he suddenly felt his foot touch…Xie Jinsheng’s leg.

The bed was too small. Although Yu An didn’t sleep too badly, he liked to roll around. He had accidentally stretched his leg out of the bed.

    Xie Jinsheng lowered his eyes.

To see what was touching him.

He saw a section of the young man’s calf exposed.

The lines were smooth and had a faint pinkish hue.

His ankle was slender and delicate, and the back of his foot was white.

Exquisite and small, as if it could be held in one hand.

Yu An felt the other person’s gaze, as if it were grinding against the back of his foot. A wave of numbness inexplicably ran down his spine. It took a lot of effort to stop himself from curling his toes.

If he could, he really wanted to ask Xie Jinsheng what he was trying to do???

He didn’t take the coat away before, but silently watched him shower in the living room. Now, he was silently standing at his bedside again.

What kind of perverted hobby was this?

If he wasn’t afraid that suddenly “waking up” would startle Xie Jinsheng into doing something even more excessive, Yu An would have jumped out the window and ran away by now.

“089, let me see what he’s doing.” After confirming that there was no danger to his life, Yu An became a little bolder.

Soon, the system opened a screen in his mind.

He saw Xie Jinsheng using his dagger to pick at the blanket.

    “…”

Unfortunately, it was too slippery and he didn’t succeed.

Xie Jinsheng finally put away the dagger. The next second, Yu An felt a corner of the blanket being pulled.

Then, it covered his exposed calf.

Yu An was stunned, somewhat surprised. When he came back to his senses, a little warmth inexplicably surged in his heart.

He actually…covered him with the blanket?

At this moment, Xie Jinsheng tilted his head.

Yu An made eye contact with him through the screen, catching him off guard.

[Holy shit!] 089 quickly retracted the small screen function: [He can actually sense it! Good thing I closed it quickly!]

Within a few minutes, Xie Jinsheng had completely left.

The sky was a little brighter, and the room was silent, as if no one had ever been there.

[Host, he’s really starting to treat you like his wife, right?!]

“Not necessarily.” Yu An pursed his lips and said, “It’s also possible that in his eyes, I’m the only one who knows his past identity, so he…doesn’t want me to catch a cold, get sick, and die.”

[Anyway, no matter what he’s thinking, Host, I think our mission has hope.] 089 lit up an excited red light. [I have a feeling we can get him on the train!]

“Okay, 089, I want to sleep a little longer. Wake me up later in the morning.”

[Alright, Host, I’m going to catch up on some sleep too.] 089 immediately went into hibernation.

Yu An curled up in the blanket, not moving. He couldn’t help but curl his toes.

His mind was filled with the moment when the other person pulled the blanket up, and his fingertips accidentally brushed against the back of his foot.

It was as if there was still warmth remaining on his body, constantly burning.

…Xie Jinsheng, this man, is really strange. He actually came over in the middle of the night just to wipe some ointment on him.

He doesn’t seem like the bad guys in other worlds.

Perhaps it was because of this little interlude.

Yu An finally escaped his previous nightmare.

However, the direction of his dream took a sudden turn—

In a church, he was surrounded by jasmine flowers and countless tentacles.

A tall man whose face he couldn’t see, stroked the birthmark at the corner of his eye with his fingertips, and leaned down to kiss him passionately.

The scene gradually became indescribably lewd…

Even the pure white jasmine petals around them were stained with a shy, light pink color because of their overly chaotic and unrestrained intimacy.
