Chapter 36: Don’t Bully Me
Not knowing how long he had waited, Lian Xun dozed off and woke up, his blurred vision gradually focusing on the wall clock. The clock pointed to ten o’clock.
It took him a while to realize that he had returned to his small apartment.
Qi Luzhi really didn’t come.
Lian Xun lowered his eyes, and even though he was prepared, he couldn’t help but feel disappointed.
“Ah-choo!”
Lian Xun sneezed, and a wave of coldness washed over him. Was he going to catch a cold?
He threw off the blanket, ran barefoot back to the Bedroom, and rummaged out a thicker quilt. Then, he ran back to the Living Room, jumped onto the sofa, and wrapped himself up, stubbornly continuing to wait.
“Qi Luzhi, I’ll wait until twelve o’clock. If you don’t come, I’ll…”
Lian Xun’s nose twitched, and he felt like crying.
He couldn’t even bring himself to say “I don’t want you anymore.”
Is loving someone always this humble? He didn’t know about others, but that’s how he was!
“Knock, knock, knock—”
Someone was knocking on the door.
Lian Xun suddenly sat up, but then the outside went quiet again. He thought he was hallucinating.
“Lian Xun, are you home?”
It was Qi Luzhi’s voice.
Lian Xun wanted to cry even more.
He tried hard to suppress the madly rising corners of his mouth, not bothering to put on shoes, and happily ran to open the door.
“CEO Qi, what are you doing here so late?” Lian Xun said, trying to appear calm, his voice dry.
Qi Luzhi stood at the door carrying a large bag, his expression unreadable, but the net woven by his almost obsessive eyes had already wrapped Lian Xun layer by layer, without any concealment.
Seeing Lian Xun appear in front of him unharmed and full of life, Qi Luzhi seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. He said coldly, “Is running away from home fun?”
“What?” Lian Xun was stunned for two seconds. “I came back to my own home, how does that count as running away from home?”
“Never mind, let’s eat first.”
Qi Luzhi walked past Lian Xun, entered the house, and placed the bag on the coffee table.
On the way, he thought that Lian Xun hadn’t eaten, so he detoured to Lian Xun’s favorite Restaurant and packed a few dishes.
“You left Li Yu, a little girl, alone at home, isn’t that bad?” Lian Xun took the chopsticks Qi Luzhi handed him, not realizing how jealous his tone was.
“It’s okay, Li Yang should have already taken her back.” Qi Luzhi said calmly.
But Lian Xun always felt like he was angry.
“Oh!”
Lian Xun didn’t say anything more, plopping down opposite Qi Luzhi to eat.
He was already starving. He was only focused on being jealous and angry just now, but the moment he saw Qi Luzhi, his appetite returned.
Qi Luzhi noticed Lian Xun’s bare feet and frowned.
They must have been cold for a long time; his ankles were a little blue.
“Why aren’t you wearing shoes?” Qi Luzhi said, getting up and walking to Lian Xun, squatting down and lifting one of his feet, putting a pair of fluffy slippers on his foot.
Lian Xun subconsciously wanted to pull back, but his ankle was grabbed tightly by a large hand and pulled back. “Don’t move!”
Scorching heat seeped into Lian Xun’s skin from his palm, traveling along his blood all the way to his heart, creating an indescribable feeling.
Lian Xun widened his eyes, at a loss.
Qi Luzhi was so gentle today that he felt like a stranger.
After putting on both shoes, Qi Luzhi returned to his seat and ate as if nothing had happened.
Lian Xun blinked, and an inappropriate thought arose in his heart.
Qi Luzhi actually still likes him, he just can’t live without him!
Why else would he be so attentive?
“You still haven’t said, what exactly did you come to my house for?” Lian Xun picked up a chicken wing and threw it into his mouth.
Qi Luzhi raised his eyelids. “Can’t I come if I don’t have a reason?”
“It can’t be just to have dinner with me, right?”
“What, can’t I eat without you?” Lian Xun teased.
A sharp glare was thrown his way, and Lian Xun shut his mouth and buried himself in his food.
After dinner, Lian Xun sat cross-legged on the sofa holding a cup of hot water, the steam from the cup blocking his view.
He tilted his head and looked at Qi Luzhi, who was sitting next to him with his legs crossed, and couldn’t help but ask, “When are you going back?”
The other party looked over, his tone seeming a bit aggrieved, “You want to chase me away?”
Lian Xun quickly waved his hand, “No, no.”
After a moment of silence, Qi Luzhi suddenly approached, snatching the cup from Lian Xun’s hand and forcing him into the corner of the sofa.
“Why did you leave?” Qi Luzhi questioned, pressing closer.
In his slightly angry voice, there was more fear.
Lian Xun turned his head away and said softly, “It’s nothing, I should have moved back a long time ago.”
Qi Luzhi pinched Lian Xun’s chin, turning his head back to force him to look at him. “Tell me the truth.”
Lian Xun felt like he was about to be swallowed by Qi Luzhi’s eyes. He gasped and closed his eyes in resignation.
“Okay, okay, I’m just jealous of that Li Yu, okay?”
“Although she’s young and a girl, I should be more considerate of her, but, who told her to say such nasty things. You’re not really going to marry her… Mmm…”
Lian Xun suddenly felt himself fall into a strong embrace, and his incessant complaints were sealed by warm lips.
Qi Luzhi hugged him very tightly, kissing him even harder, as if he wanted to knead Lian Xun into his own bones and blood.
Lian Xun had always been defenseless against Qi Luzhi, and soon he was lost in passion, his head dizzy, his hands unconsciously climbing onto Qi Luzhi’s back.
Not knowing how long it had been, Qi Luzhi finally released him, and Lian Xun gasped for breath, his dazed eyes adding a bit more alluring aura.
“Don’t suddenly disappear again, got it?”
Qi Luzhi whispered in Lian Xun’s ear, his strong arms hugging him tightly, unwilling to let go, as if afraid he would dissipate like smoke in the next second.
Whether it was his imagination or not, Lian Xun heard the trembling in his voice, mixed with the sound of his heart pounding like a drum.
“Got it!”
The two of them moved from the sofa to the bed, Qi Luzhi frantically absorbing the aura of Lian Xun’s body, unwilling to be separated for even a moment.
“Enough… stop…” Lian Xun begged, his voice trembling.
Qi Luzhi turned a deaf ear, only demanding.
Lian Xun felt like he was about to die in bed! He had never seen Qi Luzhi like this, his possessiveness reaching an almost insane level.
He was delighted in his heart, but he really couldn’t take it anymore.
“Qi gege, don’t bully me.” Lian Xun’s voice trembled, and physiological tears welled up in his eyes.
Qi Luzhi saw his tears and finally stopped, kissing the tears at the corner of his eye with pity.
“You don’t like me bullying you like this?”
Warm breath brushed against his ear, like feathers gently stroking him, a little itchy, and Lian Xun shrank his neck.
“I like it, but… I have to go to work tomorrow.”
“Just don’t go to work, as the boss, I still have that right.”
Qi Luzhi said, covering Lian Xun’s lips, which had already been kissed red.
“…”
The air was filled with a charming flame, driving away the cold of winter.
Lian Xun thought, on the verge of tears, he wouldn’t catch a cold tomorrow!
But his back would hurt!
