Chapter 86: The Little Princess Arrives

    Straight?

Right, Zhuo Huaimo almost forgot, Qi Yanwang was originally straight!

The girl in front of him was young, bright, and full of energy, her eyes twinkling, very likeable.

Seeing Zhuo Huaimo still in a daze, she bypassed him and walked into the house,

“Don’t mind if I wait inside, right?”

As she spoke, she blinked her big eyes at him.

Zhuo Huaimo’s jawline tightened. The auntie next to him held her breath. She had just said how affectionate the two were, and now she was being slapped in the face so quickly?

Oh, my son, is same-sex love really reliable?

Otherwise, maybe she should have a grandson to tie them together!

The auntie wavered a little, clutching the handkerchief in her hand.

While she was distracted, Zhuo Huaimo walked to the auntie’s side, his voice low,

“Call Qi Yanwang and tell him to come back!”

The auntie tremblingly dialed the number, her fingers shaking:

    “Mr. Qi, there’s a young lady here…”

Qi Yanwang, who was in a meeting on the other end of the phone, snapped his pen tip upon hearing this:

    “What lady?”

“In her early twenties, long, straight black hair…”

The auntie glanced at the living room, “Said she’s here to deliver a tie clip…”

Qi Yanwang’s mind raced – he hadn’t even provoked a female mosquito in the past three months!

    “What’s Zhuo Huaimo’s reaction?”

The auntie swallowed: “Mr. Zhuo…” She caught sight of Zhuo Huaimo’s knuckles turning white as he held the teacup in the living room, “He’s reading the teacup’s fortune…”

    “What?!”

“Just staring at the teacup for a long time without drinking…”

The auntie stamped her feet anxiously, “Mr. Qi, please come back quickly! That girl even knows what kind of pillow you like to hug when you sleep!”

The sound of a chair falling over came from the other end of the phone. Yu Fengran looked at his boss in shock as he rushed out of the conference room like a whirlwind:

“President Qi! The contract is about to be signed—”

    “Sign my ass!”

Qi Yanwang didn’t look back, “The earth is about to explode!”

Yu Fengran blankly took out his phone:

    “Didn’t receive a doomsday warning…”

In the living room, the girl was sipping her tea in small sips:

“Mr. Qi likes the water temperature for making tea to be 85 degrees Celsius, and the third brew is the best~”

She tilted her head and smiled at Zhuo Huaimo, “Right?”

Zhuo Huaimo expressionlessly put the teapot on the coffee table:

“He has a bad stomach and only drinks black tea.”

    “Ah, that’s right!”

The girl clapped her hands, “So he always secretly drinks your green tea, and once he even burned his tongue…”

She suddenly lowered her voice, “Did you two discover that when you were kissing that night?”

    “Pfft—”

The new rag the auntie had just changed fell to the ground again.

    Zhuo Huaimo’s temples throbbed:

    “Who exactly are you?”

“A friend~” The girl shook her legs, “Do you know he has a mole on his waist?”

The teacup in Zhuo Huaimo’s hand cracked.

“There’s also a very small birthmark on his left butt cheek~”

The girl counted on her fingers, “He talks in his sleep, and he loves to eat…”

    “Enough!”

Zhuo Huaimo stood up abruptly, “Auntie, see the guest out!”

The girl unhurriedly took out a USB drive from her bag:

“Don’t be so impatient~” She waved it, “There are even more private things here…”

The door was kicked open with a “bang”, and Qi Yanwang rushed in with his suit in disarray, his tie askew on his collarbone. His eyes froze on the girl’s face for three seconds, then suddenly froze: “Qi…”

    “Mr. Qi!”

The girl jumped up to interrupt him, rushed forward in one stride, and grabbed his arm, “I’ve been waiting for you for so long~”

Qi Yanwang shook her off as if he had been electrocuted: “Qi Xiaoman, what are you doing!”

The girl pouted aggrievedly: “You said I was cute last week…”

Zhuo Huaimo chuckled: “Last Wednesday? Hyatt Hotel?”

    “Bullshit!”

Qi Yanwang cursed and looked at Qi Xiaoman, “I’ll give you ten seconds to get back to normal, or I’ll cancel all your allowance for the second half of the year!”

“Brother, aren’t you an actor? Where’s your acting skills?”

    “Brother?”

The auntie and Zhuo Huaimo looked at the two at the same time.

Qi Xiaoman pursed her lips and bowed to Zhuo Huaimo, “Hello, sister-in-law!”

    “My sister.”

Qi Yanwang sighed, “Half-sister, the one who’s studying abroad.”

    The air suddenly fell silent.

Qi Xiaoman “pfft” laughed out loud: “Brother, your boyfriend is even better looking than in the photos! He’s just a little jealous~”

The auntie covered her heart and slipped into the kitchen: “I’ll make tea for the young lady…”

Zhuo Huaimo’s ears turned red, and he said through gritted teeth, “You two are really alike, so annoying!”

Qi Yanwang looked at her, “What are you doing here? Aren’t you in school?”

“Some time ago, Dad saw on TV that your company was in trouble, so he asked me to come and take a look!”

“You’ve seen enough, I’m fine, I’ll buy you a plane ticket back tomorrow!”

“Brother, it’s not easy for me to come all this way, let me stay for a few more days, I promise to give you the photos!”

“You still have the nerve to mention the photos to me?”

Qi Yanwang reached out to grab her phone, “Give it to me!”

Qi Xiaoman turned around and was about to run, but Zhuo Huaimo grabbed her by the back of her collar.

    “Photos?”

Zhuo Huaimo narrowed his eyes, “What photos?”

    “Just, just…”

Qi Xiaoman smiled sheepishly and took out her phone, “Last Christmas you were in the kitchen…”

Zhuo Huaimo glanced at the screen, and instantly turned red from his ears to his collarbone—

In the photo, he was pinned against the counter by Qi Yanwang and kissed, the apron strings half undone.

“Qi Yanwang! When did you take that?!!”

“Wife, I’ll explain to you later! Let me take care of this girl first!” Qi Yanwang said sheepishly.

Qi Xiaoman nimbly hid behind the auntie: “No way! This is my lucky charm!”

“Brother! Please, let me stay for a few more days! I’m so pitiful!”

Qi Yanwang paused, “You’re going to act for me again, aren’t you?”

Zhuo Huaimo laughed angrily: “Is that inherited from the Qi family?”

In the garden, Zhuo Huaimo was pruning the roses with clippers, the snapping sound especially crisp.

The auntie hesitated beside him: “Mr. Zhuo, that young lady is really…”

    “His half-sister.”

Zhuo Huaimo cut off a faded flower, “Qi Yanwang never mentioned it.”

From inside the house came Qi Xiaoman’s scream: “Brother! I was wrong! Don’t delete that one! That one has a particularly good composition!”

The auntie shrank her neck: “These siblings… have a pretty good relationship?”

Zhuo Huaimo chuckled: “Yeah, good enough to strangle each other.”

Two hours later, Zhuo Huaimo returned to the living room and found Qi Xiaoman sitting cross-legged on the sofa, gnawing on an apple, her cheeks puffed out like a hamster.

Qi Yanwang sat opposite her with a dark face, clutching his phone in his hand.

“Did you delete the photos?” Zhuo Huaimo asked.

    “Deleted seventy-eight photos.”

Qi Yanwang gritted his teeth, “This girl’s phone is full of sneak shots.”

Qi Xiaoman stuck out her tongue: “I left twenty photos as a souvenir~”

“Send her to a hotel.” Qi Yanwang got up and took the car keys.

    “No!”

Qi Xiaoman pounced and hugged Zhuo Huaimo’s waist, “Sister-in-law~ let me stay at home! I promise not to bother you!”

She blinked her big eyes, “I can sleep in the storage room!”

Zhuo Huaimo’s ears burned from her calling him “sister-in-law”:

“Just… stay in the guest room then.”

Qi Yanwang narrowed his eyes: “What kind of bewitching potion did she give you?”

    “Oh, are you jealous, brother?”

Qi Xiaoman shook her head triumphantly, “Sister-in-law likes me more!”

That night, Qi Xiaoman obediently stayed in the guest room.

Zhuo Huaimo came out after taking a shower and found Qi Yanwang standing in front of the window in a daze.

    “Your sister…”

Zhuo Huaimo carefully chose his words, “is quite lively.”

Qi Yanwang turned around and pulled him into his arms: “She’s been like this since she was little, lawless.”

He rested his chin on the top of his head, “Sorry, I didn’t tell you about the family matters beforehand.”

Zhuo Huaimo shook his head: “It’s just that I never asked.”

He hesitated for a moment, “Your family…”

    “It’s complicated.”

Qi Yanwang said briefly, “My dad has been married three times, and Xiaoman is the daughter of my second stepmother.”

He chuckled, “She’s the one who’s most attached to me in the whole family.”

Zhuo Huaimo remembered how Qi Xiaoman had talked endlessly about Qi Yanwang’s embarrassing moments during dinner, but hadn’t said a word about her family:

“She seems… very protective of you.”

    “Silly girl.”

Qi Yanwang’s eyes softened, “When I left home to become a star, my dad stopped all my cards, and she secretly stuffed her New Year’s money into my hands.”

He paused, “I later found out that she had sold all her bags and shoes.”

Moonlight shone through the gauze curtains, and Zhuo Huaimo suddenly noticed that the line that had been taut between Qi Yanwang’s eyebrows for years had loosened when he mentioned his family.

“What’s wrong?” Qi Yanwang suddenly asked.

Zhuo Huaimo was startled: “I don’t think I’ve ever heard you mention your family…”

    “There’s nothing to mention.”

Qi Yanwang kissed his brow, “Those old antiques aren’t worthy of you.”

His fingers stroked his slightly furrowed brow, “All you need to know is that I’m your Qi Yanwang.”

Zhuo Huaimo grabbed his wandering hand: “But I want to understand all of you.”

    “Then let’s take it slow.”

Qi Yanwang pressed him into the bedding, “Start by understanding on a physical level?”

    “…Rogue.”

As Qi Yanwang’s kiss landed on Zhuo Huaimo’s collarbone, his fingertips paused almost imperceptibly.

Zhuo Huaimo noticed it keenly and ran his fingers through his hair:

    “What’s wrong?”

    “Hmm.”

Qi Yanwang kissed him again, but he heard light footsteps in the corridor while their lips and teeth were entwined.

“Brother! There’s something in the fridge—”

Qi Xiaoman’s voice stopped abruptly, followed by the sound of a door closing in a panic, “I didn’t see anything!”

Zhuo Huaimo took the opportunity to push away the person on top of him: “Something on your mind?”

Qi Yanwang supported himself above him, his Adam’s apple bobbing:

    “No, just a little tired!”

The shadows of the trees outside the window fell on his well-defined face, casting shadows of varying depths.

Zhuo Huaimo raised his hand to smooth the wrinkles between his brows: “Then rest early… tomorrow…”

    “No, I want you!”

Qi Yanwang suddenly sealed his lips, and this kiss had a bit of a hasty possessiveness.

His fingertips slid down Zhuo Huaimo’s waistline, but his movements were a bit rougher than usual.

Qi Yanwang stared at his reddened eyes and said in a hoarse voice:

“I love you, no matter who I am…”

    “Hmm?”

    “Nothing.”

He suddenly hugged the person tightly, with a force that almost hurt.

The moonlight shone through the gauze curtains, illuminating his taut jawline, but not the bottomless eyes.

The next morning, Zhuo Huaimo woke up to find the pillow empty.

He put on his clothes and got up, vaguely hearing suppressed arguing from the study.

“Okay, I know myself, you be good to me, don’t bother him!” Qi Yanwang’s voice was very low.

“Brother, you value sex over your sister, no, over your whole family!”

“You just found out? I said it when I went home two years ago, unless…”

    “Clang—”

The noise outside the door startled the two, Qi Yanwang put out his cigarette and saw Zhuo Huaimo standing at the door.

“Baby, you’re awake so early? It seems like I didn’t work hard enough last night!”

As he spoke, he went over and put his arms around his waist, dropping a kiss on his forehead.

Completely ignoring Qi Xiaoman next to him.

Qi Xiaoman looked at her brother with a disgusted expression, “Can you pay attention to the influence, I’m still here!”

Saying that, she covered her eyes and left the study, “Tsk tsk tsk, my eyes!”

Zhuo Huaimo chuckled softly, “What were you two talking about before I came?”
