Chapter 49: It’s all your fault! It’s all your fault!

Granny Zhang paid special attention to the situation in the bedroom, noticing that the lights had remained on all night.

She instructed the servants to be ready at all times, and within moments, hot water was carried into the room.

After dismissing everyone else, Zhao Fangye picked up the already sleeping Song Huaixi from the bed and placed him into the tub filled with hot water.

After a night of tossing and turning, Song Huaixi was so limp that he couldn’t even lift his arms. No matter what Zhao Fangye did, he showed no signs of waking up.

After carefully cleaning him, Zhao Fangye’s eyes fell on the red marks on his fair skin. Zhao Fangye frowned slightly.

He somewhat regretted his indulgence, not controlling his strength.

Song Huaixi had been pampered since childhood, and his fair skin was like the milk pudding he often ate.

Delicate and tender, even a slightly stronger touch would leave a red mark.

If left unattended, these red marks would definitely turn blue and purple.

After cleaning him up, he applied blood-activating and stasis-removing ointment and gently rubbed it in. By the time he finished, it was already dawn.

After tucking him in, Zhao Fangye got up, put on his court attire, and tidied himself up. He lifted the bed curtain, gently kissed Song Huaixi’s forehead, and then left the courtyard to attend court.

Waking up from a sleep, he opened his eyes and saw that it was already broad daylight outside. Song Huaixi trembled in his heart and quickly sat up and shouted.

“Ah! I’m going to be late for school! What to do!!!”

His shouts brought all the servants in the courtyard running.

Granny Zhang and Chun Hua were the first to arrive at the bedside, their faces filled with anxiety: “What’s wrong? What’s wrong? Princess, don’t worry, speak slowly.”

With a mournful face, tears welling up in his eyes, Song Huaixi hurriedly got out of bed while randomly putting on clothes.

His voice trembling: “Granny… I’m going to be late for the academy… uh… The teacher is very strict, he will definitely hit my palm…”

Realizing that he was worried about this matter, Granny Zhang and Chun Hua exchanged glances and both breathed a sigh of relief.

Stepping forward to take off his clothes that were put on backwards and re-dressing him, Granny Zhang reassured him: “Princess, don’t worry, when the Prince left this morning, he said that you don’t have to go to the academy today.”

“No need to go to the academy? Why?”

Hearing this, Song Huaixi’s hanging heart finally fell back into his stomach, and then he asked in confusion.

Granny Zhang, with a strange look flashing across her face, coughed twice and said to Chun Hua who was beside her: “Chun Hua, go and see if the Princess’s breakfast is ready.”

Chun Hua nodded and turned to step out of the courtyard gate.

Turning her face back, looking at Song Huaixi who still had a blank expression, Granny Zhang led him to sit down on the edge of the bed.

“What else could it be for? Of course, it’s the Prince who is being considerate of you. After all, last night you and the Prince…”

Granny Zhang’s words stopped there and she didn’t continue.

Song Huaixi was even more confused, tilted his head and asked Granny Zhang: “Then can I not go to the academy every time we do intimate things?”

Then would he have a very useful excuse not to go to the academy in the future? He was happy just thinking about not having to go to the academy.

Unexpectedly, he would ask this, Granny Zhang was speechless for a moment, and looked at him with a smile and a cry.

Touching the top of Song Huaixi’s hair, she said, “Last night was the first time, and it’s inevitable that the Princess would feel unwell, so the Prince is being considerate. It will be normal in the future, but this is not a reason not to go to the academy.”

“Unwell?” Song Huaixi was even more puzzled, looking at Granny Zhang and saying, “I don’t feel unwell anywhere?”

His whole body only had a slight pain in his lips and the base of his thighs, other than that, he was fine and didn’t feel uncomfortable.

Hearing Song Huaixi’s answer, Granny Zhang was dumbfounded. She also knew something about men and men.

How could there be no feeling at all?

It is said that the first time would be more tragic, and one wouldn’t even be able to get out of bed? How could it be as easy as Song Huaixi said?

Could it be that the Prince didn’t touch him at all?

At the thought of this, Granny Zhang was a little worried. After all, she was a traditional woman living in the back house. She believed that relying on her husband was a matter of course.

If she didn’t have her husband’s love, it would be difficult to survive in her husband’s family.

Immediately, her eyes began to size up Song Huaixi.

Song Huaixi stared blankly at Granny Zhang checking him out with a serious face, and asked inexplicably: “Granny, what are you looking for on me?”

Looking at his innocent eyes, there were some things she couldn’t say. She lifted Song Huaixi’s collar and saw a large area of red marks.

The doubt in Granny Zhang’s eyes deepened even more, it was simply incomprehensible.

Could it be that the Princess was gifted? Or was it that the Prince loved him too much?

Withdrawing her hand, the expression in Granny Zhang’s eyes became even more complicated, she hesitated several times but ultimately did not ask.

Little did she know that last night, Zhao Fangye had not done it to the end at all.

Halfway through the action, Song Huaixi’s waist suddenly trembled violently. Large tears welled up in his eyes.

He had just said that he wasn’t afraid of pain, but when it came to this, he pouted and shed tears from the pain.

What else could Zhao Fangye do? At the sight of Song Huaixi’s tears, his heart ached faintly, so he naturally gave up.

But he didn’t treat himself badly. He sought other methods to relieve himself, and also tossed Song Huaixi enough.

He wasn’t in a hurry to deal with this matter, after all, there was plenty of time.

Soon Song Huaixi understood why Zhao Fangye had asked for leave for him, as soon as he woke up, his thoughts were occupied by the fear of being late, and the confusion of the leave.

He had not yet realized the vaguely painful area, until he stood up and walked, the stinging pain began to appear.

In an instant, he remembered last night, and Song Huaixi’s entire face flushed red.

As soon as Zhao Fangye finished court, he rushed towards the Wang Mansion, but he was delayed by affairs for a while.

It was already past the time to have lunch with Song Huaixi, and Zhao Fangye felt even more murderous towards the Crown Prince’s party.

Ever since the Crown Prince was confined to the East Palace, the Crown Prince’s party was as difficult as dog skin plaster. Making him feel unhappy, he stepped into the bedroom with a cold face.

Granny Zhang noticed his gloomy face, and recalling what Song Huaixi had said this morning, she was extremely worried for a time.

She was constantly calculating in her heart, wondering what ideas she should come up with to get Song Huaixi to keep Zhao Fangye’s heart.

Little did she know that Zhao Fangye’s heart had long been lost on Song Huaixi.

Walking into the hall, he saw Song Huaixi wearing an inner garment curled up on the soft couch reading a book. His eyes were focused and his brows were slightly furrowed.

Zhao Fangye walked over and hugged him from behind: “What are you doing?”

Hearing that it was Zhao Fangye, Song Huaixi immediately turned around and threw himself into his arms. His voice was sticky and full of joy: “Zhao Fangye! You’re back.”

“Yeah.” Zhao Fangye raised his chin and kissed his lips, reaching out to tuck the stray hair behind his ears: “Does it still hurt?”

As soon as this matter was mentioned, Song Huaixi’s ears immediately turned red.

He reached out and pinched the collar of his chest with a hint of complaint: “It hurts so much, my legs still hurt now. I can’t even walk, it’s all your fault! It’s all your fault!”

Last night, Song Huaixi was so tired that he couldn’t even keep his eyelids open, but Zhao Fangye still didn’t let him go.

Zhao Fangye on the bed was simply a different person from his usual self, making Song Huaixi feel scared.

His light and heavy complaints fell into Zhao Fangye’s ears with a delicate and naive charm, without any power at all.

Zhao Fangye reached out and wrapped his arms around Song Huaixi’s waist, grabbing his hand clutching his collar.

Zhao Fangye said in a low voice with doting eyes: “This husband was wrong, applying medicine to Huaixi at night will make it not hurt. Don’t be angry.”
