    Chapter 23: More

Song Huaixi only felt a burning sensation on his lips.

Then, Zhao Fangye tightened his grip around his waist, lifting him onto his lap, so Song Huaixi was entirely nestled in his embrace.

One hand went behind Song Huaixi, caressing from his back to his neck, his long fingers forcefully pressing him against Zhao Fangye.

The intertwined breaths were extremely intimate in the silent room, his lips were bitten with restraint. Zhao Fangye’s fiery lips forced the inexperienced Song Huaixi to dodge repeatedly, his breathing becoming rapid.

He wanted to escape, but Zhao Fangye’s large hand restrained him, not allowing him to break free.

Song Huaixi’s mind went blank, his dark eyes wide and filled with confusion. His body was trapped in Zhao Fangye’s arms, and the unique cold fragrance of his body wafted into his nose.

It smelled like a forest in the cold wind.

Song Huaixi’s heart gradually began to beat wildly out of control, and his body felt a burst of numbness, leaving him weak all over.

It was like stepping into the clouds, or floating in the air.

Zhao Fangye’s movements gradually became fierce, sucking and tangling with his lips, and Song Huaixi could only support himself on his chest, tilting his head back to endure, the corners of his eyes stained withEpisodered, and soft whimpers escaped his mouth.

He didn’t know how long it lasted, but the kiss finally ended.

Song Huaixi slumped weakly on his shoulder, his slightly swollen lips parting as he panted softly. The corners of his eyes and his ears were flushed an unbelievable red.

His eyelashes trembled lightly like a butterfly about to take flight, and his rosy face was like a delicate crabapple blossom moistened by spring rain.

Zhao Fangye reached out to stroke his back, helping him calm down.

Nearing his snow-white neck, a sweet fragrance wafted into his nose, and he tilted his head to take his reddened earlobe into his mouth.

His dark, husky voice was tinged with restraint: “This is what liking is, understand? Little fool.”

Hearing his words, Song Huaixi straightened up and looked at him. There was still a lingering mistiness in his eyes as he asked curiously, “What is this?”

He had never experienced anything like this before, but it seemed something within him had changed.

The liking Zhao Fangye spoke of seemed different from the liking in his own heart. But he couldn’t say exactly how.

At least when he was with his parents and older brother and sister-in-law, he didn’t feel his heart beating so fast that he couldn’t breathe, and the tip of his heart didn’t feel numb as if many tiny ants were biting him.

His eyes were too pure, and when he looked over, Zhao Fangye even felt a bit despicable.

    But so what.

“Kissing.” Zhao Fangye gently wiped away the water stains from the corners of his lips with his finger, his eyes deep. “Do you like it?”

Song Huaixi simply nodded, the expression in his eyes as if he had discovered a new continent. He even looked at him with anticipation, wanting to experience it again.

Stunned by the look in his eyes, a surge of blood rushed to his head, and he almost lost control. Reaching out to cover his eyes, Zhao Fangye restrained himself and lifted him to the ground.

Ignoring his reaction, Zhao Fangye walked out of the bedroom with slightly flustered steps.

Song Huaixi looked at his retreating figure and stood there for a while, stunned. He didn’t know why Zhao Fangye had suddenly left.

Was he angry? But why was he angry?

    He didn’t understand.

Sitting on the chair, Song Huaixi touched his slightly swollen lips, savoring the feeling from just now.

His mind was still somewhat confused, and he couldn’t figure out how the liking he felt for his parents was different from the liking he felt for Zhao Fangye.

Seeing Zhao Fangye walking out hurriedly, Zhang Wenwen was a little worried that Song Huaixi had made a blunder. She entered the room only to find him sitting on a stool, looking lost in thought.

She went up and waved her hand in front of him: “Ning Wang’s Consort, Ning Wang’s Consort, what’s wrong? What are you thinking about?”

Snapping back to reality, Song Huaixi looked at Zhang Wenwen and asked with a very troubled expression, “Zhang Wenwen, what is liking?”

Stunned by his sudden question, she didn’t understand why he suddenly asked this. However, the sharp-eyed Zhang Wenwen noticed that his lips were a little red and swollen.

She was about to ask the reason, but stopped abruptly, and a knowing look appeared in her eyes as she looked at Song Huaixi.

Her heart was naturally filled with joy.

“Huaixi has grown up.” Zhang Wenwen patted his head with a comforted expression, patiently explaining to him.

“Ning Wang’s Consort, there are different kinds of liking. The liking for the master and mistress and the young master is familial love, the liking for playmates is friendship, and for…”

After thinking for a while, Zhang Wenwen adjusted her wording: “You and Ning Wang are husband and wife, so the liking for Ning Wang is naturally different from that of others. This kind of liking is to support each other and respect the other person, it’s a loving and supportive kind of liking.”

Song Huaixi looked blank, his hands on his knees fidgeting.

Listening to her words, he still didn’t understand.

    What exactly was liking?

Zhang Wenwen felt helpless and didn’t know how to explain it, after all, Song Huaixi had a congenital deficiency. He hadn’t interacted with other people in the Song Mansion. Naturally, he didn’t understand such things.

After thinking for a while, she continued, “If Ning Wang eats, sleeps, and plays with someone else, how would Ning Wang feel?”

Shaking his head, Song Huaixi said, “I don’t know.”

He couldn’t imagine things that hadn’t happened, he only felt a stuffiness in his chest when he heard Zhang Wenwen’s words.

“If Ning Wang feels sad, that means you like him.”

    “Is that so?”

Zhang Wenwen sighed and decided to be more straightforward: “Ning Wang’s Consort, there are some things that you will only do with someone you like. Like what Ning Wang did to you just now.”

Song Huaixi’s eyes widened, and he covered his lips with his hands, looking at her with some shyness. Clearly there was no one else in the room, he didn’t know how Zhang Wenwen knew.

Seeing him like this, Zhang Wenwen couldn’t help but laugh: “Then Ning Wang’s Consort, did you dislike it?”

“I didn’t dislike it, it felt comfortable.” Song Huaixi spoke even more directly.

This made Zhang Wenwen’s old face blush, and after coughing twice, she said, “That’s what liking is, Ning Wang likes you, and you like Ning Wang. It’s different from the liking you have for others.”

After listening to Zhang Wenwen’s words, Song Huaixi felt somewhat dazed.

In the evening, Song Huaixi felt inexplicably shy lying next to Zhao Fangye.

In the past, he would have unreservedly burrowed into Zhao Fangye’s arms, but tonight he was lying properly on one side.

His heart was beating rapidly in his chest, and Song Huaixi was afraid it would jump out of his throat. He pressed his hand tightly against his chest.

Beside him, Zhao Fangye watched him clutching the quilt, lying stiffly. Seeing a sense of estrangement from him, an unhappy expression immediately appeared on his face.

Reaching out to pull him into his arms, skin touching skin. Only then did he feel his rapid heartbeat.

Chuckling softly, his deep, magnetic voice traveled into his ears. Song Huaixi only felt his ears tickle as if little bugs had crawled inside.

The itchiness traveled from his ears to his waist, and slowly he felt half of his body go numb.

    It was very wonderful.

Reaching out to cover his lips, Song Huaixi complained, “Don’t laugh! It’s itchy.”

Zhao Fangye was stunned, unable to understand what he meant. After a while, the body in his arms gradually heated up.

He realized that this person was shy.

Deliberately moving closer to his ear, he said, “Huaixi is shy? So cute.”

Song Huaixi didn’t understand what shyness was, he only felt the heat make his ears burn.

Covering his ears, he looked at him accusingly: “You’re doing it on purpose.”

He was so cute, Zhao Fangye couldn’t help but lower his head and kiss his lips.

But it was just a fleeting touch, and Song Huaixi seemed to still want more.

Hugging Zhao Fangye’s neck and refusing to let go.

His dark eyes sparkled with subtle light in the darkness, staring intently at Zhao Fangye, his voice soft,

    “More.”
