AMLFS Chapter 116
by VolareChapter 117: Huaixi…Distracted
High above the towering pavilion, Song Huaixi relaxed against Zhao Fangye’s embrace, gazing at the distant scenery. He occasionally turned his head to chat and laugh with the person behind him.
The setting sun gradually disappeared from their sight, casting a faint purple hue on the horizon. A wind picked up on the high platform, the autumn breeze already carrying a biting chill.
“Let’s go, it’s getting windy,” Zhao Fangye said, drawing the person closer into his embrace as he led him downstairs.
Hand in hand, they walked back the way they came. Song Huaixi hooked his hand and swung it high and low, his mood exceptionally bright.
When Zhao Fangye took him out, he had instructed that no one was to attend to them, and without anyone else around, Song Huaixi seemed even more at ease. He couldn’t help but want to be spoiled by Zhao Fangye.
Holding Zhao Fangye’s hand and swinging it back and forth, Song Huaixi called out, “Ooh! Rocking the little boat!”
Such childish actions would normally make Zhao Fangye feel impatient and annoyed if it were anyone else. But Song Huaixi was innocent by nature, and this only made Zhao Fangye love him even more.
Leaning slightly closer to him, Zhao Fangye asked with a smile, “So happy?”
“Yes!”
Song Huaixi nodded vigorously. He felt that living in the Imperial Palace was really too good. There was good food, fun things to do, and Zhao Fangye was by his side. As he thought, he counted the things that made him happy.
“The houses here are very beautiful, and it’s very big here. I can fly kites here. And the things here are all delicious!!!”
“Is that so?” Zhao Fangye smiled softly, touched by Song Huaixi’s innocence.
Having grown up in the Imperial Palace and seen the dark side of the magnificent imperial city, Zhao Fangye’s thoughts were quietly the opposite. In his eyes, the Imperial Palace was like a prison, like a gloomy ghost realm. It was a hell that devoured people without spitting out their bones.
But in front of the naive Song Huaixi, he would only feel that it was beautiful, spacious, and the food was delicious. His eyes were pure white, so the world was also pure white in his eyes.
Sometimes Zhao Fangye was very grateful that he could see the beauty of the world through Song Huaixi’s eyes.
Song Huaixi was in the middle of excitedly talking when he realized that Zhao Fangye wasn’t saying anything, but just gazing at him quietly with doting eyes.
“What are you looking at?” Song Huaixi stopped his endless chatter and stopped to look at him, his round eyes showing a hint of doubt.
With a soft laugh, Zhao Fangye reached out and pinched the soft flesh on his cheek: “Did you eat your fill tonight?”
“I did! I even overate!” Song Huaixi didn’t understand why he was asking again, but he still answered honestly.
Seeing his silly look, Zhao Fangye couldn’t suppress the smile on his lips. His gaze lingered on his delicate face.
Chuckling softly, his husky voice contained scalding heat: “Huaixi, what if I’m not full?”
“Ah?”
Zhao Fangye had clearly eaten a lot during dinner, and he had finished all the dishes that he had given him.
How could he still not be full? Song Huaixi was a little confused, but upon closer thought, he felt that Zhao Fangye was very powerful and ate more than others.
Then, Song Huaixi said anxiously, “Then let’s hurry back and eat!”
Seeing his plan succeed, Zhao Fangye smiled narrowly: “Huaixi said that himself.”
Song Huaixi was confused by his words and hadn’t reacted when he was suddenly picked up and carried towards the bedchamber.
“What are we eating?”
“Eating you.”
By the time Song Huaixi had figured out the meaning of Zhao Fangye’s words, Zhao Fangye had already carried him far away. There was only a short distance left to the bedchamber.
Along the way, the palace servants saw the Emperor’s arrival and put down their work to kneel on the ground. Song Huaixi buried himself shyly in Zhao Fangye’s arms, not daring to look up.
Entering the bedchamber, Zhao Fangye carried Song Huaixi in without looking back: “All of you, leave!”
The servants hurriedly poured out of the bedchamber and closed the door tightly. Song Huaixi’s feet hadn’t even touched the ground before Zhao Fangye was holding him against the gilded and carved palace door.
Passionate lips kissed him inch by inch. Song Huaixi’s mind was in chaos, only able to accept Zhao Fangye’s plunder.
Zhao Fangye’s strong arms held Song Huaixi tightly, seemingly afraid that the patterns on the door would hurt his head, his other hand gently supporting the back of his head. He kissed him in a possessive manner.
Song Huaixi felt the heat coming from his lips, and the intertwining sounds of breathing gradually deepened, pulling his thoughts back somewhat.
He realized where they were, and the thought that the palace maids were just outside the door made Song Huaixi’s whole body heat up.
He quickly reached out to push away Zhao Fangye’s approaching body: “Um…wait…not here…”
“Someone…”
Zhao Fangye’s eyes were burning with desire, his advance interrupted. He had been unable to restrain himself since the first time he saw Song Huaixi.
Now, his reason was completely gone. He frowned unhappily and leaned forward to bite his full lower lip, his voice low and sexy: “Huaixi, distracted…”
After saying that, he gently rubbed his nose against his. Like a pleading puppy, he showed accusation and dissatisfaction. Song Huaixi only felt a buzzing in his head.
He couldn’t care about anything else, and his heart was pounding like a drum. He had never seen Zhao Fangye in such a state before.
He reached out and hugged his neck tightly, suddenly pressing his lips against Zhao Fangye’s beautiful lips. He had long thrown the things he had been worried about to the back of his mind.
The desire in the eyes of the person who had received a response surged. He held the somewhat weak person in his arms and gently tossed him up. He walked towards the bed while kissing him.
Song Huaixi didn’t know how he got to the bed, nor did he remember how his clothes came off. The only thing his body could sense was Zhao Fangye’s fiery kiss, as if he was going to burn him along with it.
Zhao Fangye pressed the person on the bed, kissing his nose, eyelashes, and forehead inch by inch. As if holding a treasure, he carefully asked, “Huaixi, do you miss me…?”
Fine beads of sweat appeared on Song Huaixi’s smooth cheeks, and he reached out and cupped Zhao Fangye’s face, panting: “Miss…I miss you so much…”
“Um…”
Thin lips covered the mouth that was expressing his longing, and well-defined fingers stroked his thin back, like a nimble snake teasing back and forth on his fair skin.
“Me too…”
Like rain after a long drought, Song Huaixi’s body was covered in sweat. Zhao Fangye’s hair swayed back and forth in front of his collarbone, causing fine, dense itching on his skin.
Reaching out to grab his throbbing arm, Song Huaixi begged softly, “I’m so tired…Zhao Fangye…”
Taking his hand and interlacing their fingers, Zhao Fangye kissed the back of Song Huaixi’s hand lightly, the heat in his eyes like a prairie fire, his voice low and hoarse: “Huaixi, be good, bear with it a little longer.”
The light gauze hanging from the four corners of the bed curtains moved constantly with their owners until late at night. When everything was over, Song Huaixi had already fallen asleep soundly in Zhao Fangye’s arms.
“Someone!”
The servants immediately filed in, prepared everything properly, and hurriedly retreated.
After cleaning the person, Zhao Fangye held him in his arms and fell asleep soundly. It was the most peaceful sleep he had had in half a month.
