    Chapter 114: Kiss

The touch on his lips was fleeting, and Prince Zhao Fangye of the Ning district’s light-colored eyes darkened. The kiss was like a fuse, igniting the suppressed fire in his heart.

Zhao Fangye tilted his head and leaned in, holding Song Huaixi’s neck and pressing him down into his arms. He captured Song Huaixi’s full lips, his tongue gently prying open his pearly teeth, invading and plundering his mouth.

“Mmm…” Suddenly kissed, Song Huaixi’s heart trembled.

His hands tightly gripped the dragon robe on Zhao Fangye’s shoulders, the gold thread embroidering the dragon pattern rubbing against his soft palms. A fine, dense itch spread from his palms to every limb.

Zhao Fangye’s skills were superb, and Song Huaixi couldn’t resist at all. His gradually softening body was held captive in Zhao Fangye’s strong arms.

Song Huaixi passively endured Zhao Fangye’s gentle plunder in a submissive posture.

After a lingering kiss, Song Huaixi’s eyelashes fluttered. His earlobes flushed with heat. In the empty and silent bedroom, the sounds of sobbing and fragmented gasps intertwined, especially pronounced.

Song Huaixi’s mind was completely occupied by Zhao Fangye, so much so that he didn’t even realize when he had been placed on the bed.

He reached out a hand to gently push away, but it was enveloped by a large palm and pressed to his side. The breaths of the two intertwined, and the sound of their heartbeats rose and fell against their close chests.

    “Mmm… ha… wait…”

Taking advantage of the pause to catch his breath, Song Huaixi’s black hair was disheveled. He used his hand to block the approaching Zhao Fangye and said softly, “Wait… I… can’t breathe…”

As he spoke, Song Huaixi’s fair face was flushed red with heat. His round eyes were filled with moisture. He lay on the bed, breathing rapidly.

Zhao Fangye looked at him like this and chuckled, leaning down to whisper in his ear, “Not bad, Huaixi has improved. This time, you held your breath longer…”

After speaking, he kissed his parted, rosy lips and reached out to caress his moist eyelashes.

Hearing these words, Song Huaixi’s delicate eyebrows furrowed slightly, “You… did it on purpose…”

    “You… know I… mmm…”

Before he could finish speaking, Zhao Fangye sealed his lips with a kiss.

Song Huaixi was angry and deliberately kept his mouth tightly shut, not allowing him to succeed. Zhao Fangye was doing it on purpose, knowing that he couldn’t learn to breathe and kissing him so fiercely.

Realizing his thoughts, Zhao Fangye kissed his lips unhurriedly. His hand, however, quietly slipped into the hem of his clothes and suddenly exerted force!

“Ah!…” Song Huaixi exclaimed briefly, as Zhao Fangye took advantage of the opening.

He didn’t know how long it lasted, but when Song Huaixi was released, he only felt a faint tingling on his tongue. His lips were hot. The once-meticulous collar of his phoenix robe was disheveled, and his neck, collarbone, and even chest were not spared.

A series of mottled marks were left on his fair skin.

Held by Zhao Fangye as he sat up, Song Huaixi covered his mouth. His round eyes glared at him, accusing, “You’re so fierce, my mouth hurts.”

    “Hurts?”

Hearing this, Zhao Fangye’s eyebrows furrowed slightly. He pinched his wrist, took his hand away, and checked by pinching his small jaw.

Song Huaixi obediently tilted his face, completely defenseless, unaware that his current appearance was like a piece of fresh meat in front of a wolf, making one want to swallow him whole.

His plump, rosy lips were slightly pouting at the moment, and his frowning expression made him look even more innocent and easy to bully.

“It’s okay, I’ll have the Imperial Kitchen make you a bowl of iced sweet wine soup, and it won’t hurt after icing it.”

After seeing that there was nothing serious, Zhao Fangye coaxed him while reaching out to caress his lips.

Hearing that he could eat something cold, Song Huaixi’s eyes lit up for a moment. He didn’t notice the hand that was causing trouble.

Slender fingers pressed on his lip flesh, gradually approaching his neat teeth. By the time Song Huaixi came back to his senses, Zhao Fangye was teasing his tongue with his index finger.

    “Mmm, you’re do…ing wha…t…!”

Song Huaixi grabbed his hand and rescued his tongue. He looked up at Zhao Fangye, the pair of light-colored eyes hiding surging emotions he couldn’t understand.

Song Huaixi vaguely felt that Zhao Fangye seemed a little different than before, like… like he was more dangerous? He couldn’t say.

Withdrawing his hand, Zhao Fangye concealed the deep desire in his eyes. His gaze turned gentle, “Okay, I won’t tease Huaixi anymore.”

After speaking, Zhao Fangye reached out to unbutton his phoenix robe. Song Huaixi was stunned for a moment and immediately clutched his disheveled clothes, looking nervous, “No… no… it’s daytime now…”

Zhao Fangye paused, then laughed, “What is Huaixi thinking? I just think this phoenix robe is cumbersome. Where did your thoughts go?”

Song Huaixi blushed deeply and was extremely embarrassed. He stammered and retorted, “I… I didn’t say anything, you’re the one thinking wildly!”

Raising his eyebrows slightly, Zhao Fangye realized that he had become smarter. He reached out and pinched his nose affectionately, “Yes, Huaixi is right. It’s I who overthought. Can I undress you now? Empress?”

    “Yes! The Empress can undress.”

Feeling that he had saved face, Song Huaixi threw the embarrassment he had just felt behind him. He opened his arms and accepted Zhao Fangye’s service with peace of mind.

He would reach out his hand when asked, and turn around when asked, being very obedient.

Zhao Fangye took off the phoenix robe embroidered with complex patterns from his body and took a soft and lightweight round-necked robe for him to put on.

No one would dare to imagine that the master of the Forbidden City, the current emperor, was using his hands, which held swords to fight and were stained with the blood of enemies, to carefully button the collar of someone else.

Song Huaixi felt extremely relaxed after taking off the phoenix robe, and breathed a long sigh of relief. Finally, he didn’t have to wear heavy clothes anymore.

Standing up, Song Huaixi finally had time to look around the room they were in. The whole room was tall, large, and very beautiful. Even the pillars above his head were carved with exquisite patterns.

Around the room, thin, cicada-wing-like gauze curtains and colorful, soft silks hung from the tall and thick pillars. These gauze curtains and silks were not ordinary items, but were carefully embroidered with various beautiful patterns.

In front of the bed stood a screen made of precious rosewood. This screen was exquisitely crafted and finely carved, and the patterns on it were lifelike, completely blocking the view from outside and creating a private and quiet atmosphere.

In the four corners of the bedroom were four yellow pear wood shelves. These shelves were uniquely shaped, with smooth and natural lines, exuding a faint woody fragrance. The shelves were filled with many exquisite ornaments and warm and smooth jade objects. There were small and delicate jade “ruyi” scepters, crystal-clear jadeite cabbages, and finely carved Hetian jade dragons… Each item was so exquisite that people couldn’t help but admire them.

Song Huaixi stood in this magnificent bedroom, his eyes sparkling with curiosity, and he walked back and forth in the room with light steps.

Stepping on the thick woolen carpet under his feet, Song Huaixi hopped back to Zhao Fangye, “Zhao Fangye, this place is so big and beautiful. Are we going to live here from now on?”

“You like it?” Zhao Fangye put his arm around his waist and touched the tip of his nose with his index finger, “If you like it, we’ll live here. If you get tired of living here, there are many palaces in the palace. You can live wherever you want.”

“Really?” Song Huaixi’s eyes widened, and he looked at Zhao Fangye with admiration, “Zhao Fangye, you’re so amazing! You have so many houses.”

After speaking, he was a little tangled, “But I don’t know where to live. Where do you want to live?”

Zhao Fangye didn’t answer, but just said, “You’re afraid of the cold, so I ordered people to lay a heated floor here. This place is very close to where I handle government affairs. You can come to me at any time.”

“Then we’ll live here!” As soon as he heard that it was close to him, Song Huaixi agreed almost without thinking, “That way, I don’t have to run far to find you!”

With a chuckle, Zhao Fangye hugged him affectionately and said, “Okay.”

Zhao Fangye’s eyes were filled with tenderness, and looking at the person beside him, he no longer wanted to experience long, lonely nights.
