    ## Chapter 98: So Good at Enduring

The next morning, Yu Zhanrong, sporting a golden bird’s nest of hair, crawled out of bed. His eyes met with the snow-white sheets and comforter, and realizing something, he turned his head to look at the other side of the bed.

The other side of the bed was also lifted up with his rising, and the traces of someone having slept there were visible.

Yu Zhanrong leaned over and touched the bed, which was cool to the touch, indicating that the person had been up for a long time.

Scanning around and not seeing anyone, Yu Zhanrong pulled the comforter over his face and lay back down, muffling himself for a while before reaching for his phone on the bedside table.

After finding it, he cradled it in his hand and retreated back into the warm comforter, burrowing his head inside, leaving only a bit of golden hair exposed.

The cold phone, hidden in the warm comforter, immediately fogged up. He wiped the screen with his sleeve and turned it on.

The screen full of red notification dots stung his eyes, making them water. He blinked instinctively to alleviate the discomfort and reached up to wipe away the tears from the corners of his eyes.

[Aunt Tan: Baby, are you awake? Does your head hurt? Mom made some soup and asked the driver to deliver it to you.]

Seeing this message, Yu Zhanrong instantly turned to stone. A million exclamation points “!” leaped before his eyes.

As his consciousness gradually cleared, the memories of the previous night, like a burst dam, came flooding back, overwhelming him.

The images flashed rapidly through his mind, every detail so clear as if it had just happened. For a moment, Yu Zhanrong felt like his scalp was about to explode.

    Damn it!

    Damn it!

    Damn it!

    Who was that?!

Was that him, the one who frantically called his boyfriend’s mom “Mom” last night?

And, was that also him, the one who pushed all the ridiculous things he did onto his boyfriend!

Thinking of this, Yu Zhanrong wished he could find a crack in the floor to crawl into. He had embarrassed himself in front of his future mother-in-law. How could he salvage his already ruined “good boy” image?

[Yu.: [Ashamed] Senior Brother was framed. He’s innocent. The things I said last night were all things I did. I’m guilty. [Kneeling] [Kowtowing]]

After sending the message, he waited silently for a reply. Unexpectedly, the other side responded almost instantly.

[Aunt Tan: It’s okay, your Senior Brother is thick-skinned and not afraid of being wrongly accused. Just don’t let him bully you.]

Seeing this sentence, Yu Zhanrong was slightly stunned.

Was Song Baiyan actually adopted? Maybe their families had switched babies? Were they swapped at birth? Was he the real son of the Song family?

Impossible, impossible, there’s a three-year age difference, can’t be wrong.

Suddenly, a gust of cold air rushed in, and Yu Zhanrong shivered and burrowed deeper into the comforter.

“Covering your head like this, don’t you feel suffocated?”

Song Baiyan walked into the room and saw a mound on the bed, looking exactly like a small animal hiding under the covers, wriggling non-stop, not even a strand of hair visible.

He yanked open the comforter, and Yu Zhanrong was kneeling on the bed, his fingers rapidly tapping on the screen, typing furiously. His small face was flushed red from being trapped under the covers.

Ignoring his strange posture, Song Baiyan placed the insulated container on the bedside table, reached out, and easily scooped up Yu Zhanrong, half-embracing him along with the comforter.

Caught off guard by the sudden embrace, Yu Zhanrong exclaimed in surprise, repeatedly shouting, “Hey! My phone, the phone!”

Hearing Yu Zhanrong’s urgent voice, Song Baiyan reacted quickly, reaching out and barely catching the phone before it fell off the bed.

    A false alarm.

    “Does your head still hurt?”

Yu Zhanrong slowly shook his head. His deepest feeling now was not a headache, but embarrassment.

“We’re family, why be afraid of embarrassing yourself?” Song Baiyan saw the chat messages at a glance.

Easy for you to say, try being the one who’s embarrassed, and see how you like it?

Yu Zhanrong snorted softly and didn’t say anything, continuing to look at the WeChat messages. Suddenly, a dark shadow flashed before his eyes. He looked closely and saw that Song Baiyan was holding two tickets.

There were a few conspicuous words printed on them, and although it was only a fleeting glimpse, Yu Zhanrong still caught the key information – “Nan City Fan Meet-and-Greet Tickets.”

    Yu Zhanrong: “……?”

He seemed to see that name, but he wasn’t sure, afraid that it was just a hallucination caused by his overwhelming desire.

So, his gaze involuntarily followed Song Baiyan’s hand movements, his eyes fixed on the two thin pieces of paper, subconsciously lowering his voice to ask, “What’s that?”

    A nervous and expectant gaze.

Although he had expected Yu Zhanrong’s reaction, Song Baiyan couldn’t help but feel a little jealous when he saw it. He likes him that much? Just a suspected name and he can’t control himself.

Song Baiyan put the tickets behind his back and said, “Guess?”

Yu Zhanrong threw his phone aside and broke free from the comforter, recklessly throwing himself at him. “The ‘Hongyan and Book’ fan meet-and-greet tickets, right? Right?”

Song Baiyan was sitting on the edge of the bed, and Yu Zhanrong straddled him, his hands on his shoulders, leaning over to snatch the tickets, then sitting down on him.

Song Baiyan froze, drawing a sharp breath.

    What a little devil!

Yu Zhanrong felt the abnormality and was momentarily embarrassed, unsure whether to stay sitting or get up.

His hands were still on Song Baiyan’s shoulders, and he could feel the heat constantly transferring from the palms of his hands, and it was getting hotter and hotter.

A burning hand, separated by a thin pajama, pressed against his lower back, and Yu Zhanrong shivered uncontrollably, his face and ears turning red, and he dared not move even more.

The body under his palm was almost frozen, Song Baiyan sighed, used a little force to push him up, and opened his mouth in a low and hoarse voice: “Baby, sit up a little.”

Yu Zhanrong, as if on fire, was startled by the lustful voice and subconsciously wanted to stand up, but his waist was held down, and Song Baiyan’s low warning was in his ear: “Don’t move.”

    “Se-Senior Brother~” Yu Zhanrong’s voice was trembling.

Song Baiyan touched the back of Yu Zhanrong’s head, leaned in and kissed his burning ear, comforting him, “Don’t be afraid, just hug for a while.”

    Yu Zhanrong: “……”

Afraid of what, he was just a little nervous.

Yu Zhanrong wanted to move his body but was held tightly, and a heavy head was leaning on his shoulder, he gently pushed it away.

Song Baiyan thought he was uncomfortable and raised his head, took his hand and kissed it, and said, “Be good, just for a moment.”

They were both guys, what wouldn’t he understand.

Yu Zhanrong blinked quickly and said, “Senior Brother, I can…” The unfinished words were fully embodied in the body language.

Soft lips gently touched the side of his neck, Song Baiyan’s eyes suddenly darkened, and the undercurrents surged in his eyes.

The wind that sneaked in from the window seams seemed to be tinged with a layer of warmth, and the temperature in the room was getting higher and higher.

The light green insulated container was still intact on the bedside table, next to it were two cell phones, overlapping each other and pressing on two creased tickets.

It wasn’t until the sound of water came from the shower room that Yu Zhanrong came back to his senses from the trance, his scattered eyes gradually focused, he glanced in the direction of the bathroom with a complicated expression, and murmured silently:

What a man who can endure.

He clenched his fist loosely and hammered the bed in annoyance.
