    Chapter 23: Uncontrollable

Shao Chengxi rushed into the bedroom upon hearing the noise and saw Shao Yuanheng on top of Shu Lin, reeking of alcohol.

Shu Lin was struggling desperately, his eyes filled with terror.

In an instant, Shao Chengxi was consumed by fury. He lunged forward, grabbed Shao Yuanheng, and threw him violently to the side.

“Are you crazy?!” Shao Chengxi roared, his fist slamming heavily into Shao Yuanheng’s face.

Shao Yuanheng staggered backward from the blow, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. His eyes were still unfocused.

He panted heavily, trying to steady himself, but his body swayed uncontrollably.

Shu Lin curled up in the corner of the bed, his face pale, clutching the torn collar of his shirt, trembling all over.

Shao Chengxi quickly stepped forward, pulled him into his arms, and whispered soothingly, “Baby, don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid. I’m here.”

Shao Yuanheng wiped the blood from his mouth, his gaze gradually focusing. When he saw Shao Chengxi and Shu Lin, he seemed to realize what he had done.

His face instantly turned ashen, his voice trembling, “I didn’t mean to, I just, I just couldn’t control it…”

“Couldn’t control it?” Shao Chengxi sneered, his eyes filled with coldness, “You knew you had Pheromone Imbalance Disorder, yet you dared to drink so much?”

Shao Yuanheng was shocked, “How do you know I have Pheromone Imbalance Disorder?”

Shao Chengxi didn’t answer his question, gritting his teeth, he said, “You frightened my Omega. Get out of here first, I’ll settle the score with you later.”

Seeing Shao Chengxi protecting Shu Lin in his arms, glaring at him with murderous intent, Shao Yuanheng felt extremely guilty and stumbled out of the room.

Bumping into things, he returned to his own bedroom, his legs gave way, and he collapsed to the floor.

Shao Chengxi actually knew he had Pheromone Imbalance Disorder!

He thought he had hidden it well.

    What should he do?

If his grandfather and father found out, they would definitely not let him be the next chairman of the Shao Group.

Shao Yuanheng leaned against the cold wall, his mind a mess.

His hands trembled slightly, fine beads of cold sweat forming on his forehead, his thoughts involuntarily drifting back to an unbearable past.

Years ago, when Shao Yuanheng took over the Shao Group’s business, people always compared him to Shao Chengxi.

They said that this Alpha was inferior to the S-Class Shao Chengxi, and if Shao Chengxi hadn’t been interested in politics, the next chairman of the Shao Group would never have been him.

He felt extremely resentful and secretly vowed to do well.

To relieve the pressure, he frequented various social events, indulging in alcohol and desire.

Initially, he only indulged occasionally, but as time went on, his self-control gradually collapsed.

Desire was like a wild horse, no longer under control.

His Pheromone Imbalance Disorder started from that time.

At first, he only felt some discomfort in his body, and his pheromone fluctuations became unstable.

He didn’t pay attention to it, thinking it was just temporary fatigue.

Until one day, at a private banquet, he suddenly lost control and almost marked an Omega in public.

At that moment, he realized the severity of the problem.

He secretly went to see a doctor, and the diagnosis left him as if he had fallen into an ice cave—Pheromone Imbalance Disorder.

This condition is usually caused by excessive indulgence in desire, leading to glandular dysfunction and uncontrolled pheromone secretion.

The doctor warned him that if he didn’t control it, the condition would get worse and worse.

He might even completely lose control of his pheromones.

Shao Yuanheng didn’t dare let the Shao family know about this.

The Shao family has always valued their reputation, especially his grandfather and father, who have extremely strict requirements for their successors.

If they knew he had this disease, his position as heir would be jeopardized.

So, he concealed his condition and barely maintained a superficial calm with medication.

Every time he had an episode, he felt as if his whole body was being burned by flames, his pheromones overflowing uncontrollably, and desire tearing at his sanity like a beast.

Ordinary Omegas couldn’t alleviate his desires at all, only make them worse.

Today, at the family dinner, he was reprimanded by his grandfather in public, and he couldn’t stand seeing Shao Chengxi so successful. His mood plummeted, and he drank a lot of wine in frustration.

As the alcohol took effect, he felt his pheromones start to get out of control.

Afraid of losing control in front of everyone, he excused himself, saying he wasn’t feeling well, and hurried upstairs to rest.

However, as he passed Shu Lin’s room, a sweet pheromone scent wafted into his nose.

It was the unique aura of a US-Class Omega, pure and enticing, like a clear spring pouring into his parched glands, making him feel unprecedentedly comfortable.

His sanity completely collapsed at that moment.

As if possessed, he pushed open the door and saw Shu Lin lying on the bed.

So beautiful, so tender, so delicious.

Perhaps because he was drunk, Shu Lin’s pheromones were overflowing a bit.

This tempting apricot scent was like an invisible net, attracting him firmly.

His body moved closer uncontrollably, and desire swept over him like a flood.

He pounced on him and discovered that Shu Lin had not yet been marked by Shao Chengxi, and an evil thought instantly arose.

At that time, he had only one thought: to mark Shu Lin.

But Shu Lin woke up quickly, and a scream attracted Shao Chengxi.

It wasn’t until Shao Chengxi rushed in and threw him away that he woke up as if from a dream.

It’s over, he’s done for, completely done for.

Shao Yuanheng covered his face and roared in pain.

Shao Chengxi knew his secret, and he had also made a move on Shao Chengxi’s Omega.

Shao Chengxi would not let him go.

His position as heir, his future, might all be ruined.

He curled up on the ground, his body trembling slightly.

The moonlight outside the window shone coldly on the floor, Shao Yuanheng’s breathing gradually steadied, but the fear and despair in his heart were like an abyss, swallowing him completely.

After a long time, the door was pushed open.

He smelled Shao Chengxi’s icy pheromones, filled with anger.

The room was dim, with only the moonlight shining through the window onto the floor, illuminating Shao Chengxi’s tall figure.

He stood at the door, back lit, his face hidden in the shadows, only his cold eyes revealing a sharp chill.

His pheromones permeated the air, carrying an icy chill, making it almost impossible for Shao Yuanheng to breathe.

Shao Chengxi didn’t turn on the lights, looking down at Shao Yuanheng who was slumped on the ground, his voice cold and low:

“Do you know what you did?”

Shao Yuanheng lowered his head, not daring to meet his eyes, his voice hoarse and trembling:

    “I… I know I was wrong. I shouldn’t have lost control, and even more shouldn’t have…”

“Shut up.” Shao Chengxi interrupted him, his tone carrying an unquestionable authority, “You should kneel down and apologize to Shu Lin. Your problem is no longer just losing control, but a threat to the entire Shao family.”

Shao Yuanheng’s body trembled slightly, he raised his head, his eyes filled with fear:

“You… you’re going to tell Grandpa and Father?”

Shao Chengxi’s voice was like ice:

“Do you think this can be hidden for long? Pheromone Imbalance Disorder is no small matter. If this gets out, the Shao family’s reputation will be ruined.”

Shao Yuanheng’s face was pale, his voice almost squeezed out of his throat:

“I, I know, but, as things stand, I can’t do anything, what do you want me to do?”

Shao Chengxi was silent for a moment, then slowly opened his mouth: “Confess to Grandpa and Father.”
